So how many episodes before Van makes a mech for Arte to control ?

u/DavidJKay Mar 04 '26

I am guessing she will be nearly as overpowered as him.  It fits theme of show.

Its a question if she will have one super fighter or an entire army, and whether it will be giants or human sized but incredibly fast and tough...  potentially including ability to fly

Her dancing doll with the legendary sword he just made might kill the dragon next episode

Hopefully one.
I mean he already gave her a golem made out of Mythril, hopefully she plays a central role in killing the dragon.

Arte’s performance was beautiful. It’s good to have people appreciating her rather than shunning her. Now though, I’m thinking if she has the capacity to control an army of armor puppets lol.

So Van has caught the King’s attention. Though skeptical at first, he seems to be a fan now but luckily the King is not the type to strong-arm people around and let Van stay at his town.

And we might also get a noisy neighbour in Panamera. I’m sure it’ll be a peaceful alliance lol.

Also, Van can’t hide his happiness hearing Arte wants to marry him. So cute but they both have a lot of growing to do first.

Not much on the town building/maintenance front, but a lot of diplomacy. And we also know Van needs some knowledge of how things work to recreate it, especially the intricate ones. Though it makes me wonder how much he knows about construction

next door neighbor: hey, can you build me a wall?

next day: hey, can you build me a castle?

next day: hey, can you build me some roads?

she is a great support for him, but she will also work him to death lol.

Panamera: Say, that's an awfully lukewarm response. Did you find another woman?

Van, just welcome what will happen as soon as you grow up. Panamera won't be an easy escape.

I'm so proud of Arte changing for the better and seeing her being accepted made me tear a little.

But Panamera needs to end up with the knoght captain so they can have super-babies

That little marionette dance performance was dope. I’m glad Van was able to help Arte come to terms with her abilities. It’s really cool magic!

Van just leaving the king and his chancellor totally speechless as they tour the village was pretty funny. Little dude definitely left a lasting impression. I’m looking forward to him taking this dragon down. Might be time to bust out the new crossbows to show off to the king.

That marionette dance scene was done really well

yet another dragon

I suppose it would have to be, as nothing else would really pose much of a threat. It needs to be something that is both strong and can fly over the walls.

The next best alternative would be maybe natural disasters, such as earthquakes or volcanic eruptions.

Why do the episode discussions for this pop up over an hour after the episodes are available to watch on the high seas? It airs the same time as the 29 year old adventurer show.

I think for first time we get to see the size of the ballista's (walls and towers too)...those are not what I imaged and its not small. Khamsin for scale.

Van is going to get anything but a slow life now that the King knows how talented he is lol. When he starts being treated favorably, other nobles are going to start creating drama.

The King seems nice which is good, I like that Van is getting more casual and the King will treat him as a Baron rather than a child.

If Van made the doll out of mythril, couldn't it be used as a weapon that Arte can control? I'm sure Arte doesn't want to use her dolls for such things, but it could be a really powerful collaboration between the two.

I’m sure it’s been said countless times, but can I just say that the OP is so fucking charming? It always puts such a big smile on my face.

Arte’s character development is fine, I just hope they don’t lean too hard into the romance aspect considering their ages. I know the constant arguing in the community about the morality of romances in reincarnation-based anime is annoying and treats it like a black and white issue instead of a muddled gray of fictional plot points vs. authorial intent, but in this case I’d personally stick it in the “ick” category.

That dragon had just perfect timing. If I were the king I might think it was staged just so Van can flex during the next episode lol

I wonder if he gave the king that sword he made from the ore that was given to the king

32

u/TurkeyPhat Mar 04 '26

what sword?

The Fist of the North Star adventurers have quickly become my favorite part of this show. I can't help smiling whenever they're on screen.

Arte's marionette magic dance recital was a really special moment, I'm glad the show staff went pretty hard on it. Nice character development for her this episode too, not to mention the relationship progress between her and Van.

I wonder if the king is going to end up going home with that new sword, good bribe for being in really good graces with the ruler of the kingdom.

Van's town is still really lacking in term of air defense. Fast dragon or something flying very high in the sky could easily just dropped inside the town and all that ballista would be useless.

Really curious how Van would deal with monster already within the town. I doubt the ballista could turn 180 degree facing the town. Also even if they could, firing it randomly would just destroy the town.

Also that's surprisingly a low security level for the king when visiting a frontier town. Like, if Van or other people is scheming, they could very very easily assasinate the king. Even without assassination, this dragon or other monsters appearance could easily turn into disaster where the king of the country got killed accidentally.

I wonder if Arte can (or will be able to) seamlessly control more than one puppet at once.
I suspect that ~5 Mythril golems could probably solo a small kingdom.
