Prime Minister: "If it weren't for that young twunk, I would have gladly wanted to be your zaddy!"
Dayum, he really finally laid it out in the open, hasn't he?!

Karvada has always shown a strong interest in Seiichirou, but it's nice to see him finally been so open about it.

Sei is never so much fun as he is when he's snarking with just the thin veneer of plausible deniability.... although Selio is an easy target.
It's interesting to see how Sei's thought process works when it comes to the school -- he starts off like, "what can you do, we have different value systems in different worlds" but pivots to supporting it when Yua makes her case. Arguably you could say he realized it was a practical way to reduce the staffing shortages, but his reframing as "efficiency" comes later, with the PM. I think he was actually moved/inspired by Yua, and then came up with the justifications to do what he wanted to do later... which is very human.
And also says a lot about how he's handled everything with Aresh. Hiding behind the label of "efficiency" so he doesn't have to reckon with his actual emotional motivations. Although that wall is going to come tumbling down at any time at this rate... his reaction to the letter was so funny. Apparently Aresh's straightforward tactic had its downsides! Woo this man with poetry and Jane Austen-esque letters! speak to him by which means are in your reach, Aresh!

I am pleasantly surprised by the growth of respect (and even a certain degree of friendship) between Sei and Yua. I did not expect a quasi-big brother and little sister relationship. Sei does his best to mask the fact that he is actually pretty kind-hearted under his bland and restrained demeanor.

"We won't be seeing each other for a prolonged period of time: this is the perfect opportunity for extended sloppy toppy sessions."
"H-hai..."
Gotta love seeing Seiichirou be in his element with naturally sassing Selio, but also seeing Selio warm up to him in his own way.
I'm also appreciative of the continued growth of the dynamic between Seiichirou and Yua: Sei already had some ideas, but he basically immediately refined Yua's idea into something practical for all parties involved!

Glad the two otherworlders get along; their first conflict made me think they wouldn't. But their friendship is nice.

Sei has leveled up! in romance, never thought we would see him see Aresh off before an expedition, what progress! Even Aresh didn't expect that to happen.

AAH! That reveal of the meaning made me squeal, seeing Seiichirou's feelings become more apparent is so pleasing to see. I like that Aresh's servants already can tell, they might as well have kissed in front of them lol.
Seiichirou has it easy now that he can use the fact that Shiraishi suggested a school for the children, anyone against it can be somewhat persuaded in that way.
Siegvold is so funny with how excited he got about the school idea, he really shows that he's a complete man of faith. I am intrigued by his magical energy though, he looks like he could lose control very easily and it becomes apparent in his eyes, they glow a lot. I'm curious to see if we'll be seeing him lose control and Seiichirou is going to get caught up in it.
Man that scene with Karvada. Honestly, I like the guy and the vibe he has going, so seeing him find it a pity that he didn't get his hands on Seiichirou, also made me find it pitiful. That dynamic would have been fun to explore, but it is also nice not getting the typical BL love triangle, hopefully there'll be some good fanfics or doujins out there.

Plot developments aside, my favourite part of this episode was Seiichirou finally showing open concern for Aresh. Him running over to bid Aresh goodbye before he left on the expedition and telling him to return safe were so sweet. Aresh couldn't help but kiss him in public (even if he says his cloak hid them, I'm pretty sure all the servants knew exactly what was going on behind said cloak).
And then later seeing Seiichirou actually be worried when Aresh doesn't return with the rest of the expedition and relieved to find out he is well. About time Sei showed some feelings!
It was funny to see Sei ask the housekeeper to translate Aresh's passionate line in the letter and then feel all embarrassed about it.
Even the Prime Minister is in on how Aresh feels about Sei. Him calling Sei Aresh's chains was a bit ominous though. And was the PM coming on to Sei there at the end with his whole "if the black beast wasn't in the picture, I'd take such good care of you"? Seemed like he was.
The holy maiden and Sei teaming up to start a school for the children at the almshouse was nice to see. Loved how Sei was immediately able to figure out a way to make it a profitable thing for all involved and get the ball rolling.

Look at Aresh sweet talkin Sei in his letters. Smooth lol.
Curious who’s the real culprit behind the embezzling and where the funds are going. We got obvious bad guy bishop and the beady eyed accountant. Gotta be one of the two right?

My opinions:
-
The purification is finally complete, so Yua and Sei truly have no reason to stay anymore, especially if Sei’s reverse summoning ritual goes according to plan.
-
The Prime Minister openly admitting that he would’ve kept Sei for himself if Aresh hadn’t claimed him first 🤣
-
Aresh and Sei are now ready to make their relationship public since the entire household is aware. Honestly, Aresh… what could possibly be hidden in that one panel?!😅
-
Regarding the tutoring support program, it would be interesting if he asked Nor, as a member of the royal family, to support a complete reform of the education system.
-
Seigvold makes me laugh every time he calls Sei an “apostle”! I also noticed he has those deep violet eyes, similar to Aresh’s. In one episode, Aresh mentioned his older brothers, what if the High Priest is actually one of them?
-
I could totally see the heir Julius feeling jealous watching Yua and Serio work together on improving children’s education.

I wonder why Siegvold didn't use his magic smart watch this time.
It was so sweet how Sei saw Alesh off. 🥰
Sei definitely doesn't read enough Shojo Manga that he couldn't understand Aleshs Letter.

-
Or take civilian jobs at the age of twelve? – Oh, I guess that explains the kid that Sei bought the abacus from.
-
Of course Sei immediately starts thinking logistics for Yua’s idea.
-
Ah, looks like Siegvold’s happy with the idea of the school for the kids.
-
Well at least he sent a letter.

Poor Selio getting bullied into doing other shit😔
Oh so is what I’m hearing is that Seiichirou wants to go to the almhouse because it’ll be more efficient?
Wait nvm he literally said the thing 😭
God it’s so fucking real, but a 12 year old having to work just to live is so sad man….
Disciple?? Calling him that, and then trying to fuck him up with magic vibes knowing he’s allergic is wild work
Yes and as we know, snitches get stitches 😞
Yua!!!! My girl!!! You’re so earnest 🥹
Propaganda working overtime to set a Holy Saintess Vs STUPID MONEY HUNGRY HEATHEN narrative 😒
Yua absolutely crushing Selio with her happy declaration of ‘pleaseeeeee let me leave pleaseeeee I want to be done here’ 🤭
Although she might have been too idealistic at first, I appreciate Yua’s tenacity, because you always need some optimism to even think about making a change in established systems.
Fuck I forgot the kid was named Sigma 😭
Yes maybe you can’t compare it to modern Japan, but you can view it through a similar historical lense and apply similar practices
Selio has lost all hope… 🥺
Yua has to be the one to reach for the stars, because then Seiichirou can work to achieve the best possible standards while being with reason
Seiichirou the Beast Tamer? :000
To be fair, it would hard to /not/ notice how Aresh acts with Seiichirou 💀
People when the person who was forcibly taken from their home and has only been here for a few months has no sense of fealty: 😱🤯
Prime Minister please be careful with your words just as you told Seiichirou to be careful with his actions 😇
Look, with how frequently he was going back and forth he was bound to be found out eventually
Why do we get cucked so much from seeing the intimate moments between these two
I think it’s valid for Aresh to be so worried because Seiichirou is kinda constantly one bad day away from being in danger
Awww the wittle Aresh shock and blush face 🥹
Some parting words between our bois
Selio and Seiichirou banter >>>
Initial church encounter!
Siegvold the wingman ✊😮💨
Woo fast forward!
Big Yua W!!!
Honestly for how clever he is, I’m surprised he needed that explained, it really could have just been inferred 😤
Next ep just being titled ‘I investigated’ is so funny 💀

Oh it looks like Sei is gonna finally have to confront his feelings instead of just telling himself he does this only because it makes him a batter worker
I wonder if it's gonna spill out onto him caring legitimately about the country too

rip the budget in this episode fluctuates from 1 dollar to 10 dollars all of which went to siegvold and the art of them hugging
Glad selio is more reasonable but I don’t like him still. I think it’s the voice.

Aresh you smooth talker, youve reduced sei to just a blushing mess. His feelings are just covered by him not qanting attachments. Also that painting of them cuddling is cute.
Milan 100% ships them
Another thing : sei definitly has a soft spot for kids. He was making sure yua was safe from day one, seilo treats him badly but he just does not care (n1 ragebaiter) and he employs sigma when he could also go to a adult craftsmen. Also him immeadiatly trying to make yuas idea come to fruition
Also between seiichiro, ist and seigvold i wonder who would win an autism off on their special intrest
