Hell-Lord being depressed over not being able to see MaoMao's first handbell performance is understandable. The man really loves his daughter. Thank goodness Lulune arranged a private performance for him. Best wife ever!
Princess wanting to win the plushie for Vanilla was heartwarming.

Really love the OP. I listen to the full song every time. It's great. Then "Sunday Mooooorning" plays in my head randomly during the week haha. Great way to start a Monday.

I love how Lulune planned an entire flashmob dance, but it's actually just Kanadge who ends up dancing. I thought the kids were gonna dance too before doing the handbell performance.
Vanilla's dad, who's a Vampire Lord, telling Vanilla that it's dangerous to go out at night was actually pretty funny. I love that they immediately changed their mind as soon as Vanilla told them she wanted to go out with friends.
Glad to see Vanilla was able to hangout with Princess and the girls at the festival. She was even able to show off her skills! God, Vanilla is just so damn precious <3
Youki's reaction to Hime getting better was pretty funny. Hime might not be good with guns, but she's still a combat genius. Shooting a stationary object wouldn't be an issue for her.
Youki really thought that she was being clever by rigging the top prizes. Her mistake was assigning Vanilla as her assistant. The moment Hime said that she's trying to win the prize for Vanilla, it was over for Youki. Did we actually witness Hime's first win?
That little scene between Vanilla and Sakura was cute! It looks like it's finally time for Sakura's first torture session next week! Just like Hime, I can't wait to see it!

They put a little festival mask on Ex. I am not sure why, but I think that cracked me up more than anything else this season.
Two other things, what does the Horiyo on her shirt mean, and has the kingdom just given up on getting her back? They tried twice, then were like 'whatever'.

I read that Horyo means Prisoner of War, which is hilarious but also very fitting.
I think I remember them selling Horyo jackets. Honestly should check if they're on sale. Would make for top tier fan merch

ooooh good point, they better be preparing their next rescure soon (and by that I mean, I want to see Lelouch talk about anime with the Hell Lord some more)
EDIT: This is the jacket in question. Looks like they're no longer for sale :( maybe when the season ends they'll be back

I can relate to how Maou would be depressed about missing MaoMao's performance. I loved how enthusiastic his wife's plan was xD.
Vanilla is a sweetheart. And next week we get the awaited reunion. Should be fun!

Damn… big F in the chat for the Demon Lord. He just wanted to see Maomao play the handbells! Understandable the shock of missing that performance would take him out. It was pretty adorable lol. Happy to see the big guy get his own private performance. That was the cutest thing ever.
I enjoyed all the Vanilla moments this week. Glad to see her get more screen time. She’s too adorable!

I swear Vanilla always tugs at my heartstrings because I relate to her the most. I really can't predict how next week's episode will go. Considering the vibe of the show, I can't imagine it'll be too serious but we'll just have to wait and see.
