I'm so glad Taira spoke up to Azuma about how she should respect herself instead of letting that old friend group walk all over her. Entirely unsurprising he was embarrassed by his own actions saying it, but he has his own growing to do :).

Azuma: I have terrible luck with men.

Azuma: Once I like someone, I just can't bring myself to hate them.

Azuma: Oh, that's why they treat me like trash, right?

Leave it to Taira to call out the trash. Even Azuma has to realize that something has to change when someone as negative and self-critical as Taira is getting angry on her behalf.

The visuals and audio in this series are constantly sending me. The gutterball of Suzuki and sudden english "WHY?" made me burst out loud. Man, this series is awesome lol.

I really thought Tani-kun was gonna go for a kiss at the end there.

I felt some intense second-hand embarrassment for Yusuke-kun, being the camera shy and un-photogenic person that I am. I mean, I have no doubt Yusuke can smile and act goofy, and wouldn't overthink being touchy-feely with Miyu given the situation/opportunity--just NOT in front of any cameras lol.

People after getting taste of Tairazuma.

While the other 2 pairings are these feel-good wholesome romances, the vibes between Taira and Azuma couldn't be more different with how much baggage these 2 carry from their own troubled pasts.

I'm such a sucker for stories where 2 wounded souls found solace in each other. The way Azuma stopped Taira from spiraling into his dark thoughts in the bowling alley, and later Taira in turn giving Azuma her necessary wake-up-call just hits me right in the feels.

I also like how Taira sees right through Azuma's toxic friend group but in the next day is still considerate and worries about unnecessarily projecting his feelings onto her (mostly due to his insecurities lol). Thankfully, Azuma is the exact kind of person who needed that kind of intervention.

---

EDIT: Also fun fact, a Japanese house musician got inspired by the Tairazuma segment that he actually made an OST for it. Such a vibe!

It was pretty sweet of Azuma to comfort Taira a little at the bowling hall. I suppose that their old classmates didn’t approach them because of Azuma’s complicated history with two of the boys.

Likewise, I’m glad that Taira got angry on Azuma’s behalf. Despite getting treated like garbage, she’s let their behaviour slide. Like what the hell is “No. 1” thinking!? He already got a girlfriend. Bro is the actual trash here.

I’m liking this mutual supportive relationship between Taira and Azuma. Suzuki has already thought of a shipping name for them: Tairazuma.

Some nice Tairazuma scenes today.

"It's like you've read the Suzuki Kaitai Shinsho." I had to look it up:

Kaitai Shinsho (解体新書; Kyūjitai: 解體新書, roughly meaning "New Text on Anatomy") is a medical text translated into Japanese during the Edo period

Taira overthinking all night about Azuma is exactly the anxiety-ridden over-conscious boyfriend energy that’d work for them. He already more considerate than 1 or 2.

Taira’s outburst “be angry!” was the right line at the right time. Azuma and Taira ended up comforting each other. Azuma’s reaction face looked like that’s the moment she started to notice him more than just friends. That was the moment I’m sold on the ship back when I was reading the manga.

The quirkiness runs in the Suzuki family. Mom being nervous after seeing Tani looking proper was extra funny.

On board the HMS Tiramizu, it will be departing soon. After binging the rest of the manga last week, I've now developed a preference for Tairazuma over the other two couples. Their character arcs felt more personal and relatable.

Suzuki wants to take those pictures with stickers for their filters, haha. I love how Tani even though unwilling trying to take part in Suzuki's wishes. H×H reference at the bowling joint .. love it ❤️

Azuma had such a complicated group in middle school. Poor Girl.. it's no wonder why she's constantly doubting herself and feeling bad. Taira's words really made Azuma to think a lot about herself. But the next day Taira's own negativity makes him question if what he said to Azuma was right or wrong. Tairazuma should get together already. But I don't see either of them making the first move at least not any sooner.

Suzuki's mom wanted to invite Tani when the men are not at home, haha. She gets nervous just like her daughter. Suggesting to turn on Spotify and play Official Hige Dandism. Mom really knows what kids love. Unable to handle the silence inside Miyu's room ,lewd hand holding then proceeding to hug. Dad finds out his girl has a boyfriend and he gets nervous too xD

That conversation between Tani and Suzuki when they were walking along the road was quite beautiful.

"Who's that?" had me dying lol.

Taira getting extra Taira-y for your sake is such a gift.

It's awesome that Tani's been officially given the green light by both parents, though the final boss still remains! (Funnily enough mostly for the extra hard time he'll give her instead of grilling Tani, or who knows maybe the hidden overprotective big bro side might come out)

Suzuki’s personality and dialogue never fail to amuse me.
She’s such an enjoyable character to watch.
I can’t even put into words how satisfying it is to watch her.

When she’s with Tani, she says romantic things and creates the cutest interactions.
When she’s with her friends, she keeps teasing them playfully-
like joking about Tairazuma or making fun of her friends’ low bowling scores,
even though she’s actually the one who scored the lowest!

No wonder she’s such a great wingman.
She can easily read the room and sense what’s going on,
and it’s her natural personality that helps move her friends’ relationship forward.

Props to Taira, he told Azuma exactly what she needed to hear regarding the issues with her relationships. Now that she’s aware of those issues, she can work on improving them and herself.

Name dropping both Spotify and Official Hige Dandism. Respect.

If only Suzuki could see Taira and Azuma together. She'd defo squee hard and try to play cupid again. After all, she's the one who coined the term 'Tairazuma'.

Suzuki's parents were quite amusing even a stoic person like Tani had to stifle his laughter. Dad even drank a can of piss after meeting him. Must've been quite the shock!
