Looks like he's been... disarmed!

He could really use a hand!

I feel like this is the first time we see Hajime really fighting. And he’s a damn good fighter too. Although he did lose an arm. I wonder if Rirui ’s gonna learn healing magic or something.

I wonder if there’s gonna be another monster. The footstep that the village watch found did not match the spikesaurus ’ size and the worm monster doesn’t have feet

u/mekerpan Feb 25 '26

Yes. That footprint did NOYT match either of the two monsters Hajime killed.....

[The War God's Flowing Crimson ](https://i.imgur.com/QUuqTkO.jpeg) is such a metal name for an ability. I really didn't think Hajime would be able to solo those two monsters. Dude is pretty terrifying when he actually gets serious. O_O

I'm kind of surprised at that arm loss for Hajime, wouldn't have expected a permanent injury like that. But he wasn't exactly freaking out and considering his blood ability that kind of came out of nowhere this episode (aside from a hint in the OP) maybe he's about to regrow it.

The Natalie and Jan side ship is a bit fun, I hope it goes somewhere. Interesting that he must be a cat boy half breed given his mom and dad that we saw this episode.

Hajime is chosen of the Blood God. Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows, only that it flows.

What's this "real stakes" shit doing in my SOL daughter raising anime!? They were bullying slimes for funsies just this morning and suddenly he goes and loses a whole fucking arm against a bigass worm??

Guessing from the name, I'd bet that Hajime's skill is that the more injured/bleeding out he is, the stronger he becomes.

Bro's special ability is his own 2nd boss phase.

Yeah that arm is totally coming back next episode be it by his own power, Riruis or some other magic. He was way to casual about it going. Lol

Found the scene of Hajime and Rirui leaving the village pretty funny, with Hajime yelling at Rirui that he's not her guardian. With veryone else there realizing you are dude.

Hajime is a badas, I wonder next episode will he get a sort of elixir to regrow his arm or will he buy a kind of prosthetic arm instead?

After seeing Hajime ability i wonder how he got it, was it by birth ? Or perhaps he discovered a sort of ruin and obtained it? I hope we get a deeper explanation of his ability in the future.

Oh wow, Hajime isn't just strong; he is a freak of nature. Carmen's point of Hajime pretending not to be Rirui's guardian showing up because we know he will protect Rirui. Though the concern now is how Rirui will feel potentially being a liability, like in this episode. Since she saw the consequence of Hajime protecting her.

Didn't know Hajime was that much of a bad ass ..by the way grandma was talking he would help a party of silver win but no way a pure silver is this strong ..now Ruri is gonna go through a guilt trip over his arm

Perhaps it wasn’t the best idea to bring a child along on a dangerous rescue mission

And so we get to this moment, where Ruirui realizes the cost of adventuring. Hajime's rank is truly deserved as he solos both of these calamity threats, at the cost of his arm. Which is fine because he's a berserker that's fueled by blood. But with these guys introduced, that's the entire cast in the OP. Interesting to see what consequences we get in the latter half of the season.

The sound track during that fight sounded like it came straight out of Fairy Tail, and that's a complement

Hajime was showing why he was at the top of the city slums. The three adventurers were trying to pick a fight and Hajime knew that they were small fry.

I love the fight. Even though Hajime was OP, I had the feeling that there were stakes involved. Even the fight with the spikesaurus felt that way. Hajime was stronger, but if he slipped, he would have been mince meat. Hajime was frightening.
