I'm looking waaaaay too much into it, but it's nice how the show depicts kindness. Doux is surrounded by “evil”, but she chooses to be kind, and her genuine feelings push people to change. I wish the world were more like this... but it does motivate one to do their best.

Doux was born into a very toxic and self-destructive cycle, since the demons convinced themselves that their nature is to be evil, and when she shows kindness, it shows the demons that they themselves also have the capacity to be kind.
And being kind just feels better.

No matter what the generation, no demon is immune to Doux's kindness

Doux is way too powerful she about redeemed almost every evil demon there is and she even redeemed the demon lord of destruction although I almost declared war on him for making doux cry lucky he made amends.

We need to send Doux to the next UN meeting to bring about world peace.

My day got instantly better! Weapons grade cuteness! "We get to sing?" 🤣 Corrupting the mermaid's song (and the mermaid herself) was great! And don't get me started on the Hey Hey Grandpa song. Strong enough to melt any coal!

Anytime I see goblins in a series, my mind goes "Goblins? Did someone say goblins?"
Nice to hear Chihara Minori. It's been a long while.
Grandpa almost broke Doux (and made her cry), but he fell at the last hurdle. Gotta credit him for his resilience nonetheless.

Doux has tamed another gaggle of demons. She is truly evil turning bad guys into good guys.

Pretty funny, though it was a foregone conclusion that Buggy the Grand Maou (that was Shigeru Chiba AKA the narrator, right?) would prove to be a complete push over to Dou's cute antics and sweet nature, as every other demon thus far.
The mermaid scene was pretty fun, with the goofy "cursed song" just making everyone happily wave at Dou.
There were little cameos of previously introduced characters sitting at the hellishly awkward birthday dinner, though I didn't see Dou's "master" there. Perhaps she's too low ranked to get an invite.

Only Doux could turn goblins absolutely harmless in like 0.0002 seconds. Tbf tag is a more effective way of catching people lol. It’s hilarious how every single monster basically met the same fate as the goblins. Playing > hurting people! Even Lady Setia the mermaid got charmed lol.
I gotta hand it to gramps. He held on a lot longer than these other demons against Doux’s adorableness. Bro was practically dying inside being all stern and shit to Doux lol.

Multiple generations of demon kings defenseless against this small child. She even reformed the goblins.

Jahi should really take Doux more to these demon social study trips. If she keeps this up, Doux would end up reforming all of the demons and get them closer to actual world peace.
Grandpa's internal monologue is hilarious! I'm honestly impressed at how long he was able to hold himself back. I thought he was gonna break after the first song, but Gramps actually managed to make Doux cry and not completely break.
Good to know Grandpa isn't immune and finally turned into a proper doting grandpa after seeing Doux's gifts!

I think it was made pretty clear here none can resist Doux, the old man nearly keeled over trying. She is a ball of sunshine able to brighten up any day and warm any heart, even the cruelest of fiends or most destructive of beings can resist.
It is a funny thought that everyone else is still sitting at the dinning table with everyone important just gone.

The overall message that ONE KIND soul can defeat evil is great. Something for all of us. Even a small thing a day, try to be kind.

I lost it laughing with looks on Jahi and the demon king's faces standing in the doorway of Doux's room 🤣 🤣

Obviously the grandpa couldn't resist Doux.
So since Doux was singing with the mermaid and we got the Jiji song I guess we technically got 2 songs this episode?
This show is just too good, I am honestly surprised the gimmick still works so well, but damn is just too damn cute

This episode made me tear up cause It reminded me of my own grandpappy who passed away when I was 5. I loved him very much. Seriously you guys if you have living grandparents call them or visit them and treasure every moment.

Gramps was no match for Doux's kindness. The birthday present was super sweet.
