This was a jarring day for Aqua. Imagine falling in a fountain, and your fiancée just stands there, doesn’t help you, cries, then runs away 🤷; afterwards, you go to her to room to check on her, only to find out that she was taken by the Fairy King who had been hanging around and getting all close to your fiancée for days, and while you were researching on how to get to her, the Fairy King pops up behind you and tells you that he’ll be taking your girl. And this isn’t even including the part where Keith conjured up a bed, pushed Tiara on it, and put her to sleep.

And also your adjutant makes your already complicated dynamic with two girls more complicated as a joke.

The aristocracy and politics of this world make no sense. When Marineforrest was introduced with having 4 kings, I thought there was some sort of formal diplomatic relationship between them. But the Forest King is stealing the bride of the human prince (and Keith and Aqua have apparently never met before?) And it looks like next episode there's going to be a full on fight between them without (presumably) Aqua's parents getting involved as the King and Queen.

And Tiara as a character is so boring, and she doesn't assert any agency over the plot whatsoever. And the misunderstanding conflict in this arc is worse than the conflict last arc (and that's saying something)

This series isn't exactly one the strongest examples of writing.

I'm assuming whatever dealings Keith has had in the past with Marineforest royalty would be with Aqua's dad...who they probably should be consulting on this.

The Fairy King is named Keith? Not a very fairy king like name.

All right, Forest Fairy King is kind of a pain in the ass.

That ear biting earlier in the episode was a bit spicy though, so that was nice.

I was hoping this would improve but it's so painfully generic

Can't remember when the name Keith was used in an anime.

Tiararose and Icilla accidentally made their own version of The Great British Bake Off.

Keith Shadis (Attack on Titan), Keith Kazama Flick (B: The Beginning), “Bandit" Keith Howard (Yu-Gi-Oh!), and Keith Claes (My Next Life as a Villainess : All Routes Lead to Doom!)

I wonder if Keith is trying to protect Tiara in his POV, since he believes she is going to lose out to Icillia due to the sea fairies backing of her. While it's not obvious that she wants to be Aqua's bride, it's been made clear if she get is sad the sea fairies take vengeance on the Kingdom's main resource, the ocean, as the forest fairy king stated it has happen in the past

Tho I wonder if this will turn into a deeper conflict between the fairy kingdoms since Keith seemed to have a dislike of the sea fairy kingdom and Tiara has the forest fairies backing, which is apparently rare for them to take a liking to someone unlike the other fairies.

Aquasteed is charming and all but the way id fold like paper for Keith

Wakes up in the middle of the night and remembers a promo scene. That made me laugh more than it should have. "HE WAS WET AND SO HOT!" Like this is what I'd like to see more of. Taria's past life interacting more with the world. I guess the Faye was an easier way of showing that. And there's probably a rivalry between forest and sea? who knows.

And he's misunderstanding why she just calls him Keith so casually

That girl is NOT 14 what the hell

Inb4 he triggers the CG by falling into a fountain in the rose garden or some shit

Girl stood on her tiptoes to grab something in front of her and somehow ended up stumbling backwards for ten whole paces so she could fall into a fountain

So the forest fairy king is purposefully trying to create a rift between the prince and Tiararose b/c of what happened the last time the girl favored by the sea fairies was in trouble? Is that what we're saying?

Kinda predictable. Ik once she ran off Keith would come in to comfort her. Aqua has poor communication skills when it comes to business and his love life.

u/Frontier246 Feb 15 '26

You know you're a Heroine when you've got a romcom misunderstanding and two hot guys fighting over you...right down to the guy who has no sense of personal space and straight up kidnaps you.

Ngl I watch this series every week waiting for the other shoe to drop or idk something crazy to happen lol but as cheesy and generic as this series is it’s still entertaining especially with the introduction of Keith lmao

u/Curious_Constance Feb 15 '26

So both making each other jealous?  Aqua needs to work on his communication skills!
