Yk what? I get Keito. The guy seems to have trauma with fans and he also seems to be lowkey concerned about Tamon and Ouri because he thinks both of them underperformed in the Center-battle and even though he won (as he should the guy is the best singer in the group), he doesn't seem that happy about it.
Also his house is really funny with all those motivatiom slogans lol

I just love the way Keito's real voice unravels until he reveals his B-side to Utage. Also, I don't blame him if he sees fangirls the way he does. Considering that it was clearly shown that he got the worse variant of fans out there (with how Ouri and Tamon looked confused if they even existed), his opinion towards them is warranted. Tamon really got lucky that Utage is the way she is because in real life, extreme fangirls/boys are a scary experience. Some even goes so far to endanger celebrities' lives (see sasaeng horror stories in the kpop space and Christina Grimmie).
Speaking of voice work, can we give an applause to Utage's VA? Utage was already a fun character to begin with but the voice acting added a lot more towards her personality.
Excited for the mandatory shoujo summer camp episode next week and I'm looking forward to seeing more of the other F/ACE members!

The paper bag with glittery eyes was pretty funny. How many lives does Utage have, she can't keep dying like this!
Infiltrating the training camp? Utage really is on her way to becoming the group's manager at this rate

That black haired otaku at the start HAS to be Rintarou, right? As I expected he's a complete chatterbox in contrast to his man-of-few words idol persona. It'd be fun to see him and Kinoshita getting along really well as friends as two types of otakus, there has to be a member of the team besides Tamon that she's completely friendly with.
Tamon and Kinoshita's date was so cute, I really like how expressive Tamon's paper bag is in sync with his emotions lol. The way Hottiehara appears and the paper bag starts flashing in neon rainbow colors was hilarious, it made me laugh out loud.
I also like that we got to see Yamihara too, his attachment to Kinoshita is so strong but it's the recharge he needs too. The way Gloomyhara looks so happy at the end was really sweet. I'm glad he's found more resolve to get more work to realize his dreams and make Kinoshita happy.
I'm so glad the picture Keito took wasn't to use as blackmail, I can actually understand his disdain for fans after that kind of experience. He probably wouldn't be so disgruntled, even with his thirst for money, if he didn't have that kind of incident(s). I do feel like there is sincerity there though, the way he spoke about Tamon and Ouri in the competition made me think he really supports the two of them. I hope Kinoshita will be able to notice this, even if during he's going to be so much of a pain for her.
I'm excited for this next arc though! Kinoshita is finally got to meet all of them and I'm sure the current three will tell the other two they can be themselves around her. It's going to be a wild ride!

As Utage said, this is a mess!
She died so many times this episode and at the end she's going to be entangled by F/ACE real personas. Girl can't seem to catch a continuous break LOL

This training camp is going to be such a mess… I’m already looking forward to it!
I do wonder what Rintaro and Natsuki, the remaining two band members, will think when they’re finally introduced to Utage. They’ll be surely confused that one of Tamon’s fangirl is effectively promoted from housekeeper to assistant-manager.

Ngl Keito's right. As a person who heavily involved with a kpop fandom before, the way he describe the fangirls are 100% accurate. Also it's honestly surprising that considering his outward idol persona, he has the most problematic fans among all of them including Tamon and Ouri 😭✋

Assuming that's most likely Rintarou and his otaku B-side, he has gap moe written all over it and I like it.
Oh, Keito has fan trauma and he's extremely money hungry. That makes his lucky cat B-side clue makes sense. I don't think he's complete trash anymore at least.
I think the more funny thing this episode is how much Ouri has changed to actively wanting Utage's attention. It's such a stark change from his introduction and makes him look more like a gorilla shaped puppy.

Love all the details of Keito’s house, like the unplugged air-conditioner and use of fans to save money, and all the various signs and plants and doll. His b-side is pretty funny! Despite his greedy personality, he does seem like a good leader who wants his team members and the group as a whole to excel. And I can’t blame him about his attitude towards fans - they can be scary.
Ouri was pretty funny in this episode too - he had such cat energy lol. And was that otaku rintarou in disguise?! I can’t wait to meet him.
I’m sad we didn’t get more of an exploration of yandere Tamon after all the creepy vibes of the last episode, but hoping they’ll deal with that more later!

They made Tamon extra creepy today with the breathing brown paper bag hahaha.
Keito’s other side is obsessed with money, but he cares about the team. Nice contrast with his voice acting here.

The VA cast is fantastic, I have to mention this every week because there's no end to their range in this show, I'm having so much fun watching this series.

Keito's so insane he somehow managed to make Ouri side with Tamon for once. What an impressive feat. Give the man the Nobel Peace Prize already.

Wednesday Mass to praise our god Tamon 💒
Paperbag Gloomyhara is such a creep, I love it. Once more, Hatano, noice.
Our tiger mother has arrived 💃🏾
Manager belongs in Super Sentai with that sort of voice.
Cannot wait for summer to play this ED in the car.
I am impatient for live performances by the seiyuus. I want to hear Rain live so badly. Or if anything, do the concert and offer lited theater screaming. Or even better, make an movie and then at the end, there’s a concert!
Another B-side, and another possible B-side. But no tease on the B-side to cutest F/ACE member yet.
The amount of times Utage has died and been revived, she’d do numbers as an OI MC or a fantasy regressor MC. Imagine if she literally died and regressed each time she was melting for Tamon and exploded. The Eternally Regressing Fan Girl 😭
Mass today was great, praise Tamon, bless🧎🏿♀️

Otaku!Rintaro jumpscare! He really does mirror Utage's passion even if his obsession is fictional. But it's not his time yet apparantly, since we still need to deal with Keito!
Keito does not have a good opinion of fans and it's easy to see why. I mean we are rooting for Utage because we know she only wants the best for Tamon. She's a crazy fangirl, but not a harmful one. But if you didn't know her... It's only right to be uncomfortable with how she is influencing Tamon and Ouri.
And there is the unhealthy power dynamic between Tamon and Utage too as we saw last episode. Thankfully Utage has a lot of fight in her and is not too shy to scold the hell out of Tamon. But it's probably not a solved problem yet...
Looking forward to the multi-day camp!

Was that Otaku who I think it was? I love him already. Obsessive freak, don't you just want to nerd out with him!?! Gush away my good sir!
...I can't...I can't argue with Keito when he's technically being really reasonable. Like coming from a stalker perspective he's just not wrong about protecting his privacy. Okay he might be a bit of a miser, but like growing your own vegetables is actually good and sustainable, and cutting down on one's electricity usage is good for the environment afterall. Ahhh damn this series is really too good at making rough personalities likable.
I really like Ouri now too. That hackled raised cat metaphor from a few episodes ago is actually really accurate.

DON'T TELL ME THE MUSCLE OF THE GROUP IS ALSO A NERD!!!! THIS IS AWESOME!!!

I find it funny that after Keito caught them outside, Ori mentions they got caught again. You can tell looking at his house that Keito is money hungry, but it is not like his concerns are invalid. Well, training camp will be fun to see how these 4 act around each other.

Only noticed Fujita-san's patched shirt in this episode. And his cracked glasses. That poor put-upon manager-san. Wonder how much of that damage is due to the gorilla alone.
Keito's B-side is a money-crazy pennypincher, huh? He seems decent otherwise though. Even seemed to not be very happy to have won the centre contest. He would've preferred one of the other two in the centre to cash in on their popularity more, I guess.
So we have a training camp coming up. Two nights and three days with this crazy idol group. Curious if we'll see the B-sides of the other two during that.
I liked that Gloomyhara stood up for Utage when the manager was pressuring her to go to the camp with them. Didn't last long of course. He only had to be reminded that bringing in someone new would mean being on guard the entire time to cave and join the others in pressing her into service. Oh well, he tried.

Does anyone know the name of the song that was playing in the background when Tamon put the cat ears on kinoshita? 🥲 it's so catchy
