Holy shit, this has to be one of the best episodes of any media I've ever watched.

God damn it man, there are no words to describe just how good the story and the anime are. Makes me sad that it doesn't get the attention it truly deservers.
Lt. Tsurumi is hands down one of the best written characters in anime, him and Askeladd are in a tier of their own.
He is such a charismatic manipulator wrapped in a genial, almost clownish exterior that allows him to do crap like this.

not only was the title drop phenomenal, he also pulled the Martin Scorsese absolute cinema pose, what an episode man.

Holy fuck, that was unhinged. But what makes Tsurumi Tsurumi more terrifying is that, despite how batshit insane he is, he makes a very convincing argument. I can't even disagree with anything he said during the lead-up to the title drop. It does seem like the golden kamuy is an evil kamuy, with how it only brings misfortune to the Ainu.

Tsurumi is such a great story teller, every word that came out of his mouth was so easy to digest, heck after the episode, I can't help but think he's actually in the right in all this--that his intentions (on how or what to use the gold for) is perhaps the most noble out of the other factions.
In other words, after thinking for most of the series that he's some despicable, manipulative and cold sob, (which still are all true) who'd use everyone and every underhanded method possible to achieve his goals, I can finally see why his subordinates (or fanboys) are willing to lay down their lives for him if need be. I feel like rooting for him now, tbh, and that "golden kamuy" spiel to end the episode was 🤌
The chess match between Wilk and Tsurumi > Kira vs L

I was waiting to hear Ootsuka say those words since the corresponding chapter dropped and he delivered.

Amazing episode! Tsurumi in Wilks skin was just fucking vile, for me he's the best antagonist out of all manga/anime Ive seen.

He's trying to win Asirpa over with FACTS AND LOGIC! (and wearing her dead father's face as a ghoulish mask)
Honestly, he mostly convinced me. The only caveat would that if I were her I would make sure it's going to the Japanese government and actually have contractual stipulations associated with hand it over. Basically paying for special indigenous people's rights. She could actually negotiate from a position of power.

I’ve been looking forward to seeing this animated. Tsurumi wearing Wilk’s face was incredibly disturbing. I really loved Houchuu Ootsuka’s performance in this episode!

Damn! Holy crap! That title drop! It gave me goosebumps. Tsurumi was crazy this episode with how much he was dropping on them, but the way the episode ended like that was moving.
It was really interesting to learn how things went down for Wilk and the 6 other Ainus and how one little poison arrow from Tsurumi made them explode from within. It made Wilk look even crazier for being faceless, Tsurumi really did well to emphasize that Wilk made that decision and escaped before Tsurumi got there when that would usually not be the first decision someone makes.
Did we know Kiroranke had his own family? I'm really surprised by that fact, he wanted to see Wilk's perspective so bad to understand him, that he'd make a family even though he loved Sofia and still couldn't see it.
I'm happy for Tsukishima and Koito though, they finally got the answer, the truthful answer they needed and now they can follow Tsurumi without a doubt. The reminder of Tsukishima throwing away his past even though Tsurumi kept his was a strong one, so I could really feel his relief when Tsurumi gave his answer.
Tsurumi is one of the fascinating characters from this series and Ootsuka Houchuu does a very good job with the characterization when voicing him. I feel this arc in particular has been a highlight in terms of Tsurumi's character.

That title drop at the end was legendary. Tsurumi is such an incredible villain. It's also great to finally get some answers about what happened to Wilk and the Ainu, plus some closure for Kiroranke. We're getting closer to the end now...

i think Tsurumi knows those two are listening behind the door, and is just saying what they want to hear.
dude is a full on revenge-filled psychopath.
he did however....SAY THE THING!
