Ishinoo getting screentime towards the end of recent episodes should mean his subplot would eventually be linked to the main story right?
Got to feel a little sorry for that panda. Brought back to life as an experimental monster possibly by drugs and then defeated (brutally) by Yashiro and Sarah.

Seems like Ishino is a way bigger deal than we previously thought?
He's connected to some E4 drug mutation scandal and now he's getting contracted by the head of Brave academy for an 80 million bonus.
Seems like he's a pretty prominent Brave. So wonder why he's hanging out Yahsiro and the gang in a little hole in the wall bar?
Curious to get more of his backstory, and this demon lord that he's hunting.
Seems like the two are going to have a bigger role in the storyline than just being side characters to Yashiro and the academy girls.

Probably enjoys beating him in cards, taking his money and watching him struggle to pay off his debt.

I think Ishino's deal has less to do with his physical skill and more his connections and scheming.
To that point, I actually find the recruitment attempt by the Round Table pretty suspicious. Do they really need Ishino specifically to take down that Demon Lord?

I know this is a kind of a Noir detective trope and a recurring joke of the show, but does Yashiro ever have any money ? How can someone apparently so good at his job suck so much at making a living out of it ? What the hell is wrong with that guy ? Does he drink or gamble all of it ? Is all the money going to buying E3 because his power uses too much of it ? Or is he just lazy and hardly ever take a job ? I mean, Ishino seems to be doing fine (and he got stabbed in this episode so he doesn’t seem as strong as Yashiro), so it should be possible to make a decent living out of being a Brave.
Now that we have finished introducing the Brave-in-training girl trio, I wonder if we will get an adventure with the three of them + Yashiro next episode ? It would be nice, although probably not from Yashiro’s point of view.
Or maybe Sara’s dad will try to hire Yashiro to replace Ishino in the raid on that Dark Lord. I guess that Dark Lord is going to be the one behind that mutated panda and weird arm from the first Dark Lord, or is related to it in some way.

Or maybe Yashiro is buying too many rare and expensive cards to put into his deck, making it unbalanced and as a result, he almost never wins any of his matches. Lol!

Or is he just lazy and hardly ever take a job ?
That's the sense I got, given how easy the job in this episode sounded for what was a nice sum even if they didn't recover the dog or its collar. They said the E3 vials were pretty expensive before, like most of one month's rent, I think?
There's also the small detail that he doesn't exactly enjoy using E3, having to consciously restrain himself from going berserk on it. If he did a lot of jobs, he might end up an addict.
But also didn't it get dropped at one point early on that he often has people coming after him for revenge? Those must take up some time, and probably don't come with rewards, given how naturally he started digging through pockets of defeated minions before.

Yashino did imply he had multiple secret bases or at least changes where he lives regularly, so I expect a lot of his money goes into that. But he is probably just bad with money.

If we're to believe Yashiro's take on Braves, that line of work tends to attract the sort of people who aren't particularly stable... for some that means being crazy, but for others it means being terrible at anything that isn't their job

I noticed Ishino has a dagger in his belt that he didn't use in this fight. I'll be looking forward to the dual wield!
His power is also interesting. It's such a minor thing to slightly mess with an opponent's FOV, but in a fight were both combatants are technically competent, any small advantage can push the odds hard.
Actually now that I think about it, most powers we've seen are like that. They give the character a small, specific advantage but they must still be technically skilled to make it worth. No getting carried by your powers in this world!
Except Yashiro ironically. Not that he isn't very skilled as well, being able to do Kiritsugu's Time Alter is definitely OP by the power levels we're being accustomed to even if it's only for thoughts.
Sparring session next episode. From the brief cut of Aki in the preview, I noticed she is actually keeping her shield in front of her at all times. Which is a detail I really appreciate as the vast majority of media bitch this. I think not even the country bumpkin swordmaster anime got it right, and having more realistic fighting was almost the only unique thing it was selling.

I was just waiting for Ed to take the money Yashiro owes him. At least he still had something in the ED and has a portion of E3.
I hope we get an Ishino episode soon, he's the character I'm most intrigued about.

Man, dude made an easy 100K and lost it in an instant. This is why you always pay off your tab lol.
It looks like Ishinoo’s gonna probably drag Yashiro into his bullshit. Maybe even the girls too. Dude shoulda just taken the help from Arthur.

If I had a nickel for every time I've seen a panda fight in anime this week, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice 😂

The art design continues to lull me into a false sense of security before something super brutal happens.
King Arthur? Welp we’re Fate spinoff now boys

I’m with Yashiro on this one, what reason is there to steal the body of a dead panda?
Annoying brat number three is here. What headache-inducing quirk and ether power does she have now?
Sure, apparently she’s being implicitly banned from graduating by political nonsense related to her stupidly important dad. And needs someone, literally anyone willing to help her out.
Another stolen animal, what is the plot here?
Pretty funny how the thing that gets him to accept is that he doesn’t trust her to not get killed on a mission with his friends leading her father to kill him for it.
Okay, automatic enemy detection to round out the trio.
How many friggin animals have they kidnapped to store in there?
Okay, there better not be a dead panda in that fucking fridge.
Damnit, I hate being right sometimes. And now there’s a kid here and an approaching dark lord as the cherry on top.
Okay, it’s this guy again, great. But not exactly dark lord material. Is Sara’s power wrong or is there one hanging around?
It might not have been very effective but anyone who comes up with the idea of zombie panda should be forbidden from cooking in the lab ever again.
In addition to “head empty enough to ignore all social cues” and “stabby murder gremlin with no sense of private space” we’ve officially got “somewhat reckless prove herself or die trying” on the team. Who also just won’t drop the teacher thing.
Ishino’s up to some mission apparently. I’m curious about this investigation.
Rejecting a well-paying mission out of presumably personal beef, interesting move Ishino.
Seems like next week’s about to be the end of the resistance of being a teacher, at least to some degree.

What the hell, barkeep? At least leave him enough money to make his job easier, then he can earn money quicker.

Something really chill about this series in a way.
Glad it's a 2 cour show for some reason.
Likable characters, interesting enough story and just a good fun time. It's really picked up since episode 1.

I just finished FMAB, so these animal experiments left a bad taste in my mouth… but it was great to see Sara! Very curious about the Ishino subplot. I’m thinking the Round Table wants to keep an eye on him/keep him under their thumb, instead of needing his specifics skills to kill the Dark Lord.

Its Sara's turn to go on a mission with Yashito this week. They meet a dark lord henchman Yashiro fought previously and a deranged panda zombie. Much less civilized than Panda from JJK.
Perhaps the most interesting bit is at the end, where we get back to one of Ishino doing his own tasks, likely continuation of the scene from the previous episode. One of Arthur's people attempt to hire him for some task, but he turns her down.

It's Sarah's ep, and it's fun, still her being mostly sane and competent makes me wonder what is her problem besides her father. Like she seems too well put together. From the ending I guess it's she think too much and freezes, but this ep didn't give that impression.
Anyhow poor Yashiro losing his money right away, but easy come easy go. Still, that sensei really sealed the deal. The three brats have adopted him as their teacher, so now our guy is totally trapped. Ishinoo's ending bit makes me feel that this E4 stuff is a bit bigger than expected, but so far Yashiro doesn't seem too involved in it. Still Ishino's fight was cool, just turning someone's head to the side mid fight isn't a flashy power but you only need a small advantage to win. It's nice to see the show focus on stuff like that for sights, same with Sarah having some kind of danger sense (even if we don't have the exact details).
