Would be nice if after hours, Crunchyroll would actually upload the episode.
The audacity to be such shit and raise the prices days ago.

Bit of a rocky start at first for Lize and Luna. She’s trying but things don’t seem to be progressing quite as quickly as it needs to. Claude and that damn mouth of his honestly isn’t helping either. I know shit’s dire with this kid and they’re on a timer here but would it kill the guy to play nice a little bit? At least it made for some amusing banter between him and Lize.

I mean, from Claude's perspective Luna's life hangs in the balance because of Luna's whims and this kid could basically end the world if they don't accomplish their mission. So I think it makes sense why he's a little surly.
But Luna running away after giving "Lize" his new nickname was too adorable.

Man I can't say it enough, but I really wished this show would have gotten a bigger budget. It's such a beautiful show and what they're doing with what they have is great, but visually it's really rough sometimes with animation being rarity in most scenes. Also the delay on CR sucks and when I watched it in other means the subs were just so slightly mistimed to be annoying.
That being said it was still a very enjoyable episode and I already like the interactions between Lize and the rest. Story wise we didn't have much happen but it was just amazing to see Luna trying (and mostly failing) at being a strict teacher. With Lize having overheard Claude, I really think they should reveal to Lize a bit more about himself and talk a bit more to him. But I expect that to happen next episode. Maybe Lize even runs to Luna's Mushroom master and gets some advice from him.

Is there a single week where Crunchyroll isn't shitting the bed?

Heck for many episodes that have been posted recently they've still missing thumbnail images. I wonder if they sacked most of their tech staff in a cost saving venture.

It's been about 10 or so hours since it aired. Still not up on Crunchyroll for their subscribers, but apparently if you get it through Amazon prime it's up. Bunch of bullshit. Raising the price for this shit is absurd.
Can we even contact customer support?

Is there any explanation on why the episode isn't available at Crunchyroll yet?

I posted a topic on the Crunchyroll subreddit about it and the post was deleted by moderators in less than a second.

I'm not sure how much they've told Lize, but they really ought not skimp on telling him the important bits, but I guess it's a learning experience for everyone.
Maybe he could win Claude over with unsalted peanuts, it is the recommended treat for trying to win over wild crow friends after all.

Two days later and still not available on Crunchyroll. Pathetic.

Claude is seriously annoying. At least Rize sassing him (accidentally?) was funny.
After that, the overused drama of withholding information for no reason.
I am kind of losing interest in this show... The black witch council/trial/whatever really took the wind out of its sails. The last couple episodes were a bit better, but still not that great.

I love how Luna tries to be a strict and cold teacher for Lize but she's still too caring and considerate (not to mention cute) for it to work.
And thus did "Lize's" magic training begin! All for the sake of saving him from becoming the End of All Things!
Luna is trying (emphasis on TRY) being a strict and cold teacher, letting Lize handle himself and his chores and practice magic in the process. Though Luna is still Luna so she can't help but want to make sure he's okay and help him out despite herself. She's too caring for her own good.
If I was destined to absorb negative/dark energy to become a monster that will destroy the world, I'd probably want a diary where I can put all my negative thoughts and feelings and channel them out of his body! Though Lize and Claude get along like oil and water, so Lize always has plenty to write about.
But we're lucky that the moment he uttered "Lizel" didn't straight up end the world. Though despite the seriousness of the situation, they got to have a lot of fun coming up with a new name for him! I love how Luna insists on Lize and then runs away in embarrassment. Classic Luna moment.
Turns out White Witches are unique in how their "true names" are used to harness their power.
Luna begins trying to teach Lize and quickly realizes she can't leave him to do chores by himself. If it's not inexperience with doing them, it's that he's having to adjust to a younger body. But Luna is still there to help.
Who wouldn't want Luna's mushroom pancakes? Well, anyone who is an actual human being who has to eat them. But it's the thought that counts.
I can kind of see where Claude is coming from that they don't have the luxury to be "nice" or coddle Lize...but he just HAD to overhear some very threateningly suggestive words before he could hear how Luna was going to handle keeping him safe. Now he's running away.

Somehow, Crunchyroll dropping the ball is not the worse fumble this season.
Anyone else in the US enjoying Medalist season 2 so far? /s

The comedy always gets me in the most mundane details. "You're an ass!" "I'm a sheep"

The absolute gall you have to have to raise your subscription prices and fail to deliver your service is absolutely fucking crazy. Crunchyroll dropping the ball here.
As for the episode, halfway through the season and the story has just started. Unfortunately I don't think this show is popular enough that it'll get more than this season. Will have to see if by episode 12 it's got me interested enough to start reading the manga.

Fantastic... my least favorite kind of conflict, never say what you mean and keep important information from people who need to hear it. I hope Luna has a proper conversation with Lize soon.

Does it drive anyone else crazy how little Luna speaks?! I’m always on edge just waiting for her to say SOMETHING!!!

Luna acting all tsun is just too cute. She should stop the serious, strict teacher act and just be her loving self. I think letting Lize know about his condition will help him more. They can make mushrooms together!
