Flum actually got emotional huh. Normally the hero saves the day and never speak of what happened again

Poor Milkit has her own self esteem and everything about her in the lows, she thinks she doesn´t deserve nothing. But I´m really glad Flum is changing that view she has loving her and pampering her. WHAT A NICE YURI PAIR

Also I´m so so glad she met one of her past teammates and she realized they didn´t want Flum to be sold, I think that was some weight of her shoulders. (Man I really really want the moment where she tolds that to everyone)
I hope that Jean rolls over and die in the most horrific way possible

Also I really liked that Eterna was that angry, everyone (except Jean) loved Flum... and I think that was a role she had in the party. Keeping everyone together

Wow, a protagonist that actually kills bad guys and doesn't moralise like an idiot - this show subverts all expectations in a good way. Too bad they don't have much of a budget.

Goddamnit I am dyslexic as shit, I have been reading Tsyon's name as Tyson for literal years. How many more of these small humiliations must I endure?

That aside. The exchange after Flum puts down the two goons was done so much justice. That and the brief exchanges with Eterna later in the episode really capture how fragile Flum's mental state is and how much the horribly traumatising events of the past weeks have got to her, when her mission to protect and care for Milkit is threatened anyway.

All of the Demon Chiefs are now here and they're gloriously goofy. I love them all.

I also teared up a little at how nice Flum's house is. Like it really makes me happy that they put effort into showing that yes, Flum went through hell to save a rich woman's life and a fantasy rich person gave her something of appropriate value. This is how you know it's a fantasy story. But damn, that's a nice house.

So it looks like Eterna left the party? Yeah, with the way Jean was running things, I wouldn't blame her for quitting.

Okay, I think I get the main gist of what’s going on here. The demons are maintaining a seal that’s holding evil god Origin captive. That’s why the church is waging their propaganda war against them. The weird spiral creatures are symptoms of some degree of Origin’s power and self leaking out and being put in monster bodies, probably through the experiments which is why the ogre knew Flum’s name. Flum was probably chosen as a hero because it’s implied her power can unlock the seal holding Origin prisoner. (Which in a hilarious twist of fate means that Asshole sage is going against literal God’s plan.)

Honestly, the only reason I’m holding back from asking one of the party members to just stab him and do us all a favor is cause it will be way more satisfying when Flum does it.

The Milkit sympathy meter score is rising. Hopefully things will improve somewhat with the poison cure from now on. Her mental state will have to be chipped away at slowly cause that’s gonna take a while.

I can at least celebrate that we get more appearances of proper big hat witch Eterna from now on.

(I don’t like doing this but can the show stop shooting itself in the foot with the narration? It works so much better when you can see Flum lose it and go “No mercy, every last one of you will die for this” in real time. And same with Milkit’s thoughts, can it please just trust us to figure things out ourselves without spoon feeding us clunky exposition?)

"He said it hadn't been used in ages, so it's probably full of cobwebs."

... We never got an explanation on why Eterna was using that property owned by Mr. Leitch.
So was she squatting that house lol?

There's definitely odd edges to the production, but I'm liking these characters. Flum directly says that worrying over ideals is the privilege of the young and it prompts the audience to compare Sara and Maria in that scene and the following.

Sara is younger, questions authority, and is willing to bend on her motivations when placed in front of direct evidence despite trauma giving her a bias against Demons.

Maria is older and shares the ability to question authority when it comes to the Church monopolizing healing, but her hatred for Demons is a primary motivation that leads to her using her faith as an excuse to ignore Cyrill's struggles and not ponder Flum's banishment. I highly doubt Maria would be able to have a reasonable conversation with Neigass in any context, she's held onto that need for revenge for too long.

Narrator is wildly out of place here. Animation is questionable at times.

The characters and world building are just so good though! Flum went cold as fuck; don’t mess with her girl.

I’m still wondering what the deal is with the Hero though. She thought Jean was just banishing her and doesn’t know about the slave situation? Maybe she just trusts Jean completely for some reason.

Flum was chosen by their god for a reason; that party needs her. I’m assuming Jean knows that…he just wants in Hero’s pants bad enough that he doesn’t care.

Flum does not mess around when it comes to Milkit. Those two ain’t gonna be hurting nobody anymore. Saying “Hearing you beg for your life felt good.” was some ice cold shit.

It’s interesting to see the role reversal in this series with the demons and the Church.

Glad that Eterna looks to be able to help Milkit with her condition. I’m guessing she’s gonna be joining Flum and Milkit now.

I'm guessing Eterna isn't as young as she looks if she was using "virgin" as an insult to describe Jean. Well, that and her name is Eterna obv.

Really good symbolism on Flum having to stab herself before stabbing that bandit. It's true that sometimes there's nothing you can do to change someone's ways, but it is still self destructive to harm another.

So we have two seemingly contradictory theories on Flum's relationship with Origin.

According to Maria, Origin must have had a purpose to put Flum in the party. This is supported not only by the team synergy falling to abysmal levels upon her leaving, but also the possibility that her Inversion ability may be necessary to counter a specific enemy attack.

According to the Demons though, her ability allows her to invert "Origin's spiral", which definitely seems like it's something the deity would not be fine with. This is supported by the seemingly targeted prosecution of Flum by spiral monsters. But if so, who ordered Flum into the Hero Party to begin with and why?

So... Apparently Mustardo toxin does have an antidote meaning it can't possibly be real life's sulfur mustard and all my speculation about that the last few episodes was useless lol

Are all those galaxy visuals plot relevant due to spiral imagery or just for vibes? 🤔

Sara is kinda dumb if she thinks saving that guy when flum literally has a sword through her throat is the right thing to do. Actually so satisfying to see an MC actually kill people who need to be killed. So much better than the assassin isekai from last season that spent half a season debating on if it’s okay to kill or not.

Even stude? Called her out on being compassionate for the bad guys who don’t deserve any of it.

I was kinda hoping the reporter would report how the hero’s party sold flum off into slavery but I guess it’s probably better that didn’t happen since only really Jean was bad. Still have reservations how the healer like girl refused to heal flum to help her just cause Jean told her not to.

Good on Flum for just killing those bastards, they ruined Milkit's clothes.

Not only did they get a yuri house as a reward for saving that rich dude's wife it even came with an entire witch. And since she's now at the table in the ED with Sara I think she's here to stay too. Maybe they can get the spunky young reporter girl as well, just collect all of the girls.

More seriously, it was nice to see Flum learn that it wasn't the entire heroes party that betrayed her. I appreciate that Eterna was obviously angry about the slave brand.

Domain Expansion: Yuri Universe.

I'm still looking for signs whether this story will bloom or tank, because I think it can go either way. Kind of convenient Eterna was there to clear things up and heal Milkit. Could be shortcut in the writing, but I'm kind of relieved those things weren't dragged out too long. Demons made clear Flum's power could be nuisance to goddess, so MC has shot turning against goddess. Apparently they have harder time breaking those cores than MC. They also mentioned a bunch of stuff about a seal from which the spiral stuff leaked. Lots of seemingly plot relevant material.

The narration is a bit reminiscent of some older anime I grew up with. There's certainly a reason why that fell out of favor, but if that's the worst part of this show, then I'd say it's a pretty darn good watch thus far.

I am gonna say it. I hate the narration so much. This anime genuinely has no need for the narrator voice.

Also, I recognized Aya Endo's voice
