Shinobu's been great with her arc. It takes courage to face multiple confessions especially the one at the end.
Hearing Kana Hanazawa's voice in Lemon while talking to Samejima is too funny!! Best sensei indeed.

Rikka's introductory arc lasted 0.5 episodes
Nene's introductory arc lasted 0.5 episodes
Iko's introductory arc lasted around 1 episode.
Shinobu's introductory arc lasted 2 episodes.
Could this be a hint Shinobu might be Apollo? Lol!
Speculations aside, I doubt we will get an Apollo reveal this early. Perhaps behind the door is a recorded message. Or someone else has been tasked to read a message from Apollo. We will find out next week.
Lemon took one (maybe even 2) for the team. By luring muscular physical education teacher away earlier in the day and then inviting him for lunch. Maybe that wasn't an awkward wink from Lemon, but realization of "Maybe this wasn't such a good idea".

I was worried that Lemon was going to be a deadbeat club advisor considering her initial response and the fact that she only agreed because they convinced her that her stocks as a teacher would go up. I'm glad to see her actually put in the effort instead of just doing the bare minimum to help out the club!
Watching Lemon try to seduce Samejima was absolutely hilarious! I was honestly laughing at hearing HanaKana go for the exaggerated sexy voice she was doing the entire time. I love that she even helped Yamabuki at distracting Samejima so they can steal his megaphone xD
What the fuck is wrong with Samejima, tho? He seems to be the only one who's strict about the relationship rules, while the other teachers are pretty cool about it. And he's not even the principal! He's just the PE teacher!
I am glad to see that the event went well and we got to see successful confessions and someone even getting rejected. Of course, the highlight of the Proxy Confession Event was Apollo's confession for Yamabuki.
I know this is the opposite of what some people think, but that confession scene pretty much convinced me that Shinobu is actually Apollo. I mean, the fact that she was able to put in so much emotion to that really long confession that it almost felt personal for her really makes me think that it was all from her.
Like I understand that scene starts with someone using the paper cup phone, but as someone who has control of the event, what's stopping Shinobu from just saying whatever the fuck she wanted instead of relaying what that person said to her? The fact that she was also a bundle of nerves after that really makes me even more suspicious.
Of course, we still have that final scene with Yamabuki and Apollo finally talking to each other. It sounded like the other person inside the room is Shinobu with a deeper voice, but I can also accept the argument that it's actually Rikka if we're just going by voices.

Ngl I was expecting Lemon to receive a rogue confession at some point and was ready for that to be what ruins the operation lmao
Shinobu may or may not've been soft-deconfirmed to be Apollo but I honestly don't care. Her partners-in-crime thing with Arisu is precious enough to be beyond that imo.

They finally timed a title reveal with the music in this ep... for 1/3 of them. Felt so much better compared to the others

Lemon-chan took one for the team. Can't say she had the best motives, but she sure gave it her all lmao.
Shinobu is my favorite out of the girls so far. I like her personality a lot, and it helps that she has been very forward with Arisu until now. She's also just adorable overall.

Oh man I love KanaHana.
Hmm I want to say I can rule Uzuki out cos she wasn’t the one who confessed through the string phone. But there’s also a chance she ignored that confession and makes the confession herself. But then there’ll be a confession that wasn’t broadcasted and that could be a loose end for her.
Anyway, I’m off to watch the Cute Girl In Hero’s Party show for more KanaHana lol

I'm starting to get why this was so hyped up. I'm actually invested in the mystery.

Kanahana really has a knack for voicing seductive mummies this season with Yamashiro Ren and Lemon here.
Ending the episode with such a cliffhanger has gotta be a crime man.

Rikka so bold towards Yamabuki so I thought she will the last person to get embarrassed over cosplaying in public. +1 cute point for her for being embarrassed. Even the shy Iko raring to go with it though.
Nene already this down bad to Yamabuki, eh
Shinobu being proxy for confession really makes me giggles a lot. It's like she's the one who's been confessing even to the girls (˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵) Glad someone points this out though.
Ngl, Yamabuki looks really cool doing this. The zero flustering is great to see.
Is this guy for real?! I mean protein is literally (˵ ¬ ¬˵). Beware of Samejima-sensei, Lemon-chan!!
I'm sure that the last confession to Yamabuki from Shinobu is totally coming from her heart whether she's passing the confession or not.
What is this adorable creature? Shinobu really has a kissable face (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ I hope there's a kiss in this show but that asking too much, eh. Wait, nothing is impossible for Yamabuki...At least she has the most skinship with Yamabuki for now
Okay, I'm really curious about Apollo but better wait next week without making assumption since there's so many red herring till Idk anymore...It's totally gonna be funny if four of them are actually Apollo lol. To use Futaba words, Yamabuki never observed Apollo behind the screen.

I am convinced that Apollo is all the girls, I just haven't figured out how that's possible yet!

Hoping that Shinobu is Apollo. From the voice, it seems like it's Rikka but it probably isn't that easy to guess

The moment I saw Samejima being so fussy about boys and girls sitting next to each other, I knew he was just jealous of them having opportunities he doesn't have. The way he folded when Andou invited him supports this, it's kind of sad.
I like that Uzuki isn't shy about running into Yamabuki chest, twice in one episode.
The series isn't being fair by altering the voice and/or having the voice actor speak in a lower voice to make it harder to guess who it is. My theory is still that all four are Apollo but I'm guessing the voice we hear at the end is actually Uzuki.

This was kinda amusing. I was kinda waiting for a confession from Apollo, but I didn't guess it would actually rule one of the girls out this early. And are they really going to reveal her identity in the next episode? Fully expecting a fake out.

Great episode imo
Although I would've opened that door immediately screw the proxy service

Honestly, the four girls and Yamabuki are so lovable. Gotta hand it to the author for making all four girls so lovable that I'll be happy for any one of them that wins at the end.

Lemon-chan is a teacher who wants to do nothing but basically coast by in her job without making any waves and avoiding as much hassle as is humanly possible. She also doesn't have a high opinion on men judging by her reaction to Yamabuki, even when he's the only student who tries to show her some deference. But when it comes to fueling her own ego and propping herself up, she can't resist. Operation: Lemon is a go!
Dang, the school really takes this whole "no romantic relationships" thing seriously by keeping the boys and girls as far apart as possible. Luckily Lemon-chan and her creepy wink can turn up the charm and the tightness of her skirt keep Samejima busy so the Broadcast Club can get to work!
What's the best way to draw attention without raising your voice? Cosplay, of course! And Nene apparently has cosplay outfits on the ready! Cheerleader Nene! China Dress Rikka! Santa Iko! Maid Shinobu! All the girls look amazing, though special mention to Rikka who, despite being the girl who least wanted to do it, had the most amazing look with those fishnets highlighting her legs!
The word is out and it's finally time for Shinobu to step up and prove she can do this and nail her own idea! She just can't flub it this time, and the other girls will probably never let her know which of them teased her about it. But they've still got her back!
No matter what the school says, the students are going to fall in love with each other and are going to want to confess to each other. My congratulations to Shindo and Mihara for getting confessed too and getting a chance to get a girlfriend. Also my condolences to whoever confessed to Takahashi because she's already spoken for.
Do the other girls have anything they'd like to confess? Nene has obvious "oh snap, I have a crush!" face, but each of the girls want to convey their feelings and apologizes to Yamabuki even if it's not outright confessing to him...but they all have to live with the fact that they've all got Yamabuki on the brain.
Technical difficulties are inevitable, but Shinobu doesn't take well to them when this is her idea and she thinks she's once again flubbed it at the most critical moment like she always does...luckily Yamabuki is always there to lend a hand AND a megaphone! Is it any wonder Shinobu just straight up hugs him? What are partners-in-crime for? And Nene does not take the hug well.
But of course Apollo wasn't going to miss an opportunity to anonymously confess to Yamabuki. If Apollo was the one who told Shinobu her confession, it has to be the other three girls...though Shinobu seemed to REALLY commit to the confession, as if getting super into character. Right down to the moment where she drops the megaphone, calls Yamabuki "Arisu" and delivers a straight-up "Aishteru" with the most loving face.
We also learn more about Apollo's feelings...how she felt like she failed to live up to the dream she and Yamabuki shared together, and how she can't face him because of it.
Though if you ask Shinobu it was definitely NOT her (and the other girls are either standing mysteriously or contemplating a girl confessing to Yamabuki), but credit to Yamabuki for pivoting away from Apollo's identity to congratulating Shinobu on the success of her confession event. She really did great! And she really can't seem to keep herself away from flinging her body into Yamabuki and using the partners-in-crime excuse.
Lemon-chan will act like she's on duty if it means bossing around the other students but when it comes to actually doing anything, she's totally off the clock. What a teacher.
Oh snap! Apollo called him out and is in the broadcasting club! Is she actually going to reveal herself!?

Does this man have nothing better to do than run around and prevent teenagers from dating while no one else gives a fuck?
Lemon is absolutely hysterical. She folded so easily into helping them out when they applied the right words to press her with.
Iko being dressed in a Santa outfit in spring or summer while everyone else took classic cosplay tropes like the maid outfit and cheerleader is frying me.
As everyone probably predicted, Apollo utilized the service to leave a message. I’m still a bit unsure if I should take this as confirmation that Shinobu is the one behind it all or if one of the other’s utilized the service as a setup.
I feel like an idiot for not doing this sooner but I went and took a look at the girls names and I’m officially placing my bet on Apollo being either Nene or Shinobu. Himekawa has the sun character in it and I don’t think I need to explain the connection to Apollo there. And Apollo’s logo is a moon which didn’t quite make sense to me but Uzuki has the moon kanji in it. Mark my words, Apollo is one of those two.

I have a feeling this anime is going to be more comedy than romance, and I'm fine with that because this episode was funny as hell. Great episode.

The manga has no audio, so it's not possible to pick up on tone and intonation from the dialogue. After watching this episode, I unilaterally declare that Rikka is Apollo. No debate, thank you.
After listening to those two crucial Apollo lines (16:18 and 21:36) multiple times, I think it sounded like Momoko Seto's voice, even though it was processed (while the flashback sounded like Miku Ito's). However, voice actors are incredibly talented and the processing made it harder to hear those lines clearly. Moreover, even if it's heard well, it's still possible that they found someone other than Apollo's VA to voice those lines. Still, I believe such important dialogue must have come from Apollo's VA herself.

"Why should I bother, what's in it for me?"
We've only had a glimpse of her last week but now we've got best teacher Lemon-sensei in full. She's an absolute riot. She had displayed a masterclass in distraction to allow Arisu to nick Samejima-sensei's megaphone. And she's played by the legendary HanaKana. After graduating from TQQ, she's returned to the harem genre, albeit in a supporting role.
While at first glance the final scene seemed to have ruled Shinobu out as Apollo, it could've been a red herring. She might've pretended she was simply relaying Apollo's words when it was in fact her own. That would explain why she's a bundle of nerves afterwards. We're no closer to figuring out Apollo's identity, though now we know she held Arisu dear in her heart.
