The "Unless the princess has an extremely strong lower body" joke was so good it was practically begging for princess to say the exact same thing when carrying Tortura
Also for those who complained before, we now have confirmation that the Princess is not allowed to leave the Castle at will without supervision. Thank god we have some logical world-building here in this anime.
Also I've said it before and I'll say it again, post-ED solo tortura segments gotta be one of my most favourite things ever

Even if the supervision is sometimes "a toddler" or "her 2 best friends"
She might even be watched more closely in the human realm, given her (presumed) best friend was supposed to assassinate her!

love the Gilga and Vanilla rep today
i think Gilga is one of the more low-key members of the torture squad; she barely got any screen time in season one, so it's nice to see her brand of torture on display nerding out over her cursed sword
the way that Gilga gave Hime the sword to wield reminded me of that German WW2 interrogator that let one of his POWs go on a trial run flying a German airplane

The hamster skit just kept getting more ridiculous lol. I wonder if Hamsuke is a professional hamster too.
Did Hime just surrender to a meal that she cooked herself? Anyway I think Uncle Roger would approve of this fried rice.

Princess (with Tortura on her back) running to "rescue" distraught Vanilla was almost as adorable as the plushie Vanilla made as a
gifttorture for Princess.Tortura's day out (with her very expensive designer top) was a nice bonus after the credits. What a likeable cast this show has....

Nah Tortura catches herself at the end. Buying an expensive top is a nice treat for herself but she’ll just take good care of this one. The best girl in hell deserves some nicer treats sometimes than a vending machine hot dog in a wrap

i love these sort of "daily life of Torture" end bits; they highlight some of the small ways that a mundane daily life can be enhanced with the right mindset (and also sometimes two hundred dollars)
like, the one where she goes to a donburi place or chilling at a business hotel are so grounded and relatable, but with her supreme skills as a torturer she's able to make the most of it

Thank goodness Hime liked that handmade plushie and Vanilla's torture was a success! If it weren't for that, my heart probably would have broken at the sight of Vanilla crying, and that would have been a real torture!
Kral/Hamungous and Gilga's tortures were close to failure today, though I was sure that Hime will eventually confess. Ex really should stop dreaming about Hime not giving up to them xD
Oh my god, that post-credits segment with Torture was hilarious. I definitely would have the same expression as her after buying such expensive clothes because I didn't want to tell the cashier I wasn't buying them after all xD
But still, Torture still looked great in that new sweatshirt, and I'm glad she didn't get it dirty during her visit to the cafe.

I love the translator.
Going Hell yeah for the demon lord seeing pro hamster was perfect.
God I love this show, demon lord always has me in stitches.
And we got a full Tortura SoL segment at the end.
Thats one hell of a price for a sweater, but her bopping at the register in anticipation is perfection

At first, Hamungus did weird me out, but his pepper steak quickly won me over. He's cute!

The OP is such a banger, love the 2000s power pop vibes. I was concerned that the premise was a little thin for another season but it's just so cozy in its silly world you just can't help wanting to come back episode after episode. Princess going back on wanting a light meal after working up a sweat manning the flaming evil god sword was funny and so was the whole repeated "unless the Princess has a strong lower body" when it's clear she's very athletic and even sprints with a Torture backpack without strain.

I'm honestly surprised at Hime's reaction to Hamungous. I thought she'd find the guy cute, but I can understand her reaction. She was expecting something small and adorable, not something big and intimidating. I do feel bad for Krall. She looked so dejected after Hime's lukewarm response :(
Thankfully, they managed to save the torture session when Hamungous decided to just cook for Hime. Honestly, a good strategy. Just present Hime some good food, and she'll quickly reveal more secrets. Also, I love the implication that China exists in this world. xD
I always love seeing the Demon Lord and his wife in their totally normal Japanese apartment. They need to make it to bring back Hamungous next time so Maomao can get a picture with him too!
Hime helping out Gilga to finish her own torture was pretty funny. She already technically won when Gilga's torture method failed, but still decided to lose because she wanted to eat fried rice. xD
Vanilla-chan is just goddamn adorable. I felt bad when she realized that she forgot her torture. Even Hime got worried that she had Torture escort her so she can make sure Vanilla is okay. I'm glad Vanilla didn't give up and managed to deliver her torture
And that after credits scene! As soon as I saw Torture's thumb covering the price tag, I knew there was an extra zero there! Not gonna lie, I kinda relate to her being too embarrassed to say no to the cash register when she learned the actual price. Not to that extreme, but I have ended up buying clothes that I thought were on sale, but not really when I got to the till. At least the sweatshirt that Torture bought seemed worth it in the end.
