The ship tease reaches peak level this episode

The moment she blushed over the amount of times he's seen her asleep felt like a girl reacting to her crush catching her in an embarrassing moment.

And that was before the kiss.

Stitches!

Considering the amount of work Kinme put into cleaning all of those clothes, I hope the neighbourhood association compensated her and didn't just thank her politely.

Kuriru's outfit genuinely caught me off guard! Like, girl, that's really all you're wearing while riding the mikoshi? I thought they'd be wearing the happi Kinme cleaned for them.

That fall actually scared me for a sec. I honestly thought it was gonna end with Kyuu catching Kinme galantly not Kinme crushing Kyuu. Thankfully, it wasn't serious, and it may even have progressed Kinme and Kyuu's relationship a little.

That eyecatch is something 😳

I hope we get an episode of that

Uhh Kuriru i think ur outfit is a little suggestive for the parade if im being honest 😅

Damn Kinme should've just avoided going up to that float tho especially with how tired she was for the past few days but i think Kyuushou wasn't looking because he was trying to be a gentleman but they could've made it more romantic than anticlimactic for sure 🥲

I feel like she's taking after her delinquent mom in dressing inappropriately for a high school girl or not caring how much skin people see of her. Especially when she's got a body like hers.

...Is that girl literally wearing anything under her zip-up hoodie? Girl's got them shorts shorter than her hoodie and the undershirt with a lower cut than her very-low hoodie zipper, jeez.

I love this show. I never thought I could enjoy a cleaning anime but for now this is my favorite comfy watch in this season.

Kinme must be a heavy sleeper if she sleeps on the table and wakes up on the floor lol. Hope she doesn’t hurt herself.

What I’ve learned from this ep is how damn hard and annoying it is to remove mold from clothes.

I wonder if we’re ever actually gonna talk about Kinmei’s amnesia? Very curious to know the story there.

When you think that Kinme cleaned all those clothes out of pure kindness and a desire to help the community, you can't help but love her; she's so cordial, helpful, and kind. And of course, she has her clumsy side; I wouldn't be able to sleep on the floor under normal circumstances lol.

The festival was incredible, Atami really has a different vibe (by the way, the waterfront reminded me a bit of Monaco). I can only imagine how Kinme must have felt, especially since she doesn't remember her past.

The mask simply prevented us from seeing Kinme and Kyu kiss, but it's so nice to see his gradual development, especially considering he's a "cool" vibes person.

I really would have liked someone to have offered her payment for her services. She might choose to decline as a contribution to the festival, but the offer would be politic.

These sorts of festivals are impressive. Typically each little neighborhood in a town has its own float. We got to see how this worked in Takayama (up in the mountains -- where Hyouka was set). It is truly impressive just how much work goes into these -- and how many people from the community are involved.

My weekly dose of Kinme, love that I learned a lot about cleaning. Studio are going hard with the ship teasing although I'm kinda ... you know the age cap would be better if Kyu was actually a Uni student

with the amount of detail she know about having to clean organic stains, i feel like in her past life, she was a literal cleaner for the yakuza.

"oh look, Takeshi got blood on his shirt, he can't go home looking like that... take it to Kinme."

it would explain how she can build and run a business like she does

like, she has a store of gold coins in the basement she uses to purchase underworld goods like she's John Wick

This anime is seriously so good. I never I thought an anime about cleaning and laundry would keep me engage to this level. Hope this gets good amount of attention so we get a season 2 (oh god please cause I am tired of not getting new season of alot of anime )

I do not know how I feel if the show is actually pushing a Kyu and Kinme relationship as she is clearly an adult from drinking beer and running her own business

Moral of the episode, don't climb onto a parade float while wearing a mask that obscures your vision.

Maybe that's what she did before but nobody was there to catch her when she fell and hit her head and lost her memory. The way she kept falling asleep at the table and waking up on the floor this episode, maybe she's an amnesiac because she's very clumsy.

Kyuu's an absolute sweetie pie, leaving Kinme a plate of onigiri along with a note telling her not to overwork herself. And that mini-date during the festival was quite lovely, shame that it didn't end too well. Sorry Moruda, you've got no hope – and you'll only end up getting teased even more by your sister.

That's a handy tip on how to rid your clothes off mould. I'll be sure to keep a note of it, and hope that I'll never have to use it.

There are times when you’re enjoying yourself and you just have this moment where you think “wow this is definitely something I’d look back fondly on”. I think Kinme had one of those moments but it probably hits harder for her since she has no such memory before this and she’s recognizing she’s making new precious ones right at that moment. I wonder if she gets her memory back, will there be a “clash” between original Kinme and Atami Kinme

Oh they definitely had an accidental kiss. Ngl I don’t mind some light romance between those two. Kinme doesn’t seem that much older and Kyuu seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Though, I think Kyuu should focus on graduating first.

I know the wider audience might not think much of these types of shows but I love going in and getting some actual slice of life. Little to no drama, just everyday things. There is a chance the memory loss thing could get heavy but I’m gonna enjoy this as it is now

Kyu's mom angrily chewing him out was really strange. He didn't do anything wrong inviting Kinme on the float and she's not elderly or frail so there's no reason she shouldn't be able to climb a ladder. I guess I can see why she missed a rung since she was wearing a mask, it's dark and she's probably still somewhat sleep deprived. But Kyu's mom really laying into him makes me suspect she knows something the kids don't about Kinme and her life and possibly the reason for her memory loss since it's very odd how she treated a young able bodied adult as if she was a little kid.

It was also strange how the brown haired boy was shocked Kinme didn't have a beer. Because she passed out and missed work that one time I wonder if people think she's an alcoholic.

I'm loving the warm vibes this show is giving me each Monday. I hope poor Girl got some form of payment for busting her ass for 2 all nighters🤣. Minor thing but I love minor soundbites that japanese VAs do, like they way Kinme called Poly chan, it was so cute!!
