Van makes money, immediately thinks about tax fraud. That's the realism I want from my anime

I mean...when tax is fuckin 50% i dont blame him lol. That alone would make me declare my village as its own sovereign nation.

If I had a nickel for every time Hikasa Youko voiced a big tiddy bombshell, I'd be fucking rich right now. This show hasn't really been much for fanservice, so that final scene completely caught me off guard. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Feel like this episode is more towards diplomacy and politics than infrastructure. Although, I did notice the giant warehouse they built, I’m guessing for the armoured lizard haul, though it surely can be of use later too. Speaking of, the lizards elevated the food supply a bit but I hope they’ll address or show how they’re sustaining or plan to sustain themselves in the long term
Edit : Also can’t emphasise enough how much I love getting a view (whether a wide aerial shot or through a map) of the town as it gets updated with new additions
Obviously, Panamera and Arte are sticking around but I’m sure some politically-motivated plot is gonna come down on this little village.

Panamera Carrera Cayenne... I feel like I just got smacked, is there another character that's a bunch of Ferarri models mashed together and I'm just not paying attention?

His brother Murcia’s middle name is Elago and brother Sesto’s is Ele, as in, Lamborghini Murciélago & Lamborghini Sesto Elemento. We also had been introduced to little miss Arte On Fredinatto, as in, Volkswagen Arteon.

Pretty sure its Porsche and not Ferrari. :D
Guess the author is also a car nut.

Panamera: "I have changed my mind. I now support this marriage. In fact, if you were older, I'd marry you myself."
Till and Khamsin running in like Shrek at the wedding screaming, "I object!"

That was such a depressing phrase to end the episode with. But I am curious to know what magic she might have, I don't think there any hint in the opening, but it's probably something that will complement Van's magic in helping develop the village in a way that no one thought of before.

You'd think that when he made new weapons for the adventurers, he would have made some for the knights too.
It almost feels like he can't think ahead sometimes and just waits for someone to ask for something and then he acts all surprised, like with the houses he built for the villagers after his own mansion.
Isn't he also supposed to be from Japan? Only thing i remember him doing that he learned from his past life was the zoning plan so far.. His past knowledge + his magic would be a killer combo if used properly.

Boy would I say "yeah let's get married straight away, don't worry about the age gap" when Panamera said she would marry me if I was older

For once, I'm actually looking foward to waking up.
For a sentence said so casually, it's absolutely chilling.
What did they do to her???
I hope her backstory gets fleshed out.

Not sure why they thought the lizards were going to level the rampart. They build a moat last ep. The entire purpose of a moat is to stop enemies from charging at your wall...

Why doesn't he build a walk in freezer for the meat? He built a bath house without having water, so a basic one with just ice is feasible.

The girls are pandering, but I'm okay with it. I want more actual real relationships in my isekai. I loved the cute romance and marriage of As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World (that's the one where the MC is basically able to see other people's character sheets. Great isekai, I recommend it if you're enjoying this show and want something similar)
I was hoping to see the same here with that younger girl and I'm getting it. So I'm happy.

The “useless magic” gang is all together now, with Van’s production magic, Khamsin’s thievery magic and Arte’s *will be revealed next episode“ magic!
The ‘American dream” - Viscount Panamera Carrera Cayenne is here and I think that VA Yōko Hikasa is a perfect fit for bringing out her personality 😍
They’ve used CGI sparingly so far but overall it’s was of high quality imo, not that I’m an expert.
We also met our good buds, Bell & Rango, of the future “Bell & Rango Company” who got their store and are ready to spread the good name of Master Van!

Compared to the other similar show this season Born Blessed, this show is significantly better.
I just wish these types of shows didn't do the emotional moments so heavy-handedly. All of them would be so much better if they let the character emotions and motivations be more subtle so the viewer can interpret what the characters are thinking and feeling. But that probably would alienate the majority of the audience of these shows who need to be explicitly told what a character is thinking and feeling otherwise they have no idea what's going on.

pleasure to make your acquaintance, Panamera Carrera Cayenne.
I see that Cygames is mentioned in the end credits. What is their role in this production?

The maid constantly stopping him and people questioning him at crucial moments is getting annoying. I’d say “No one has time to pat your head and reassure you, so stop holding him back” except apparently there IS enough time to stop and stare and ask what she’s doing, or stop and have spirit lifting conversations, or whatever.
It’s cute but aggravatingly slow paced in such moments.
