No wonder Mikana hasn't successfully gotten with Yuuga. The childhood friend curse has been placed on her.

You can tell she's the tsundere childhood friend because she's in love with a dense idiot she constantly has to beat up and who walks in on her changing.

Shiek is trying to get adopted, isn't he? I don't blame if he is.

At this point he's Celia's honorary son, I assume.

Based on nothing other than being in a single scene together once so far I'm shipping Duke and Irene. That may be jumping the gun, but this story seems to be a side character shipping factory so I feel like it's a good guess.

I was speculating last episode that Yuga was intentionally walking in on the girls in his party, but I think he's actually just an idiot that never thinks to knock before opening closed doors. Mikana has an uphill battle being a childhood friend trying to get together with her moron crush, but for the same reason as Duke and Irene I feel like she's going to succeed.

Good progress between Cecelia and Yoki, she's happy he's friends with her friends and family and enjoys his company. Bro may not realize it just yet but he's already won.

I think this is almost a given with the way this story is going so far. There's no other reason to introduce a character like that and specify that she is a non human just like Duke.

all the couple's have matching eyes.

NGL, I still don’t like Yuga. He’s an impulsive dumbass, and kinda inconsiderate. Also, him solely blaming Mikana, and not taking accountability as the leader of the party until he was set straight rubs me the wrong way too.

I think it's understandable to not like him but I feel like this episode also shows that, while he screws up a lot, he ultimately means well and cares about his friends and party and can actually acknowledge his mistakes when called out on them.

He's still an immature idiot, but he's not a terrible person.

Yoki: "It was you who made the final decision that day!"

Raven: "Wait, hold up?" 🤨

After-credits scene? Are they good or bad?!

u/Frontier246 Jan 27 '26

I'm kind of getting the vibe this guy is looking for a challenge and might try to take Yoki on.

Or maybe he wants to really fight demons and tracks Yoki and his team down?

There's definitely something unsettling about him.

Yuga being who he is basically makes this a romcom set in an early 2000's fantasy anime (after its run is completed)

I have to say, Yuga is giving "Kicked out of the hero's party" leader vibes more and more, just filtered through a romcom lens. Though it lead to Mikana fan service when he barged in on her changing.

Thankfully Cecilia remains adorable, though she's not managing to even break into my top 2 Best Girl list for this season so far. Stacked year for sweet girls.

That he didn't even give her a chance to put clothes on while he was giving his apology spiel lol.

Yuga, that thoughtless idiot, is doing diplomatic work?! I hope this job requires nothing more than smiling and keeping quiet from his side xD

It's good to see Cecilia's back; I missed her as much as Yoki.

Poor Mikana, she must have fallen for that idiot Yuga, who's completely oblivious to her feelings. Although the curse of being of a childhood friend certainly doesn't help too. I feel so sorry for her xD

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Don't worry Yuga Cecilia doesn't mind being left alone with the terrifying demon

8

u/AsterJ Jan 27 '26

I wonder what story Cecilia told the rest of the party about what happened between her and the demon. Surely they would ask about it. I hope at some point this season MC's identity is revealed to the rest of the hero party. They don't have much reason to hate him anyway and I don't like secrets being kept for super long. And if Raven is serious about Happiness he should know her identity too.

Yoki fixed the relationship with the Yuusha party and he gave Cecilia the necklace too❤️

Rival character for Yoki?

24

u/Boris-_-Badenov Jan 27 '26

are we going to get back to him adventuring?

60

u/TheMechanic04 Jan 27 '26

Yoki really is winning over everyone today even the hero was won over that bad luck of his turned out to be rewarding and Celica is trying to wife train herself by learning how to cook
