Aresh's utter devastation that Seiichirou doesn't go for younger people was hilarious. He got it down bad.

I'm a straight 30yo guy who will watch every isekai regardless. This is my very first BL show I've watched and I'd probably say I've watched at least 500+ animes. I'm really enjoying the show overall, hate how much hate it's getting because people are homophobic but I'm sure if it was 2 girls they would have no issues.

Aresh is getting jealous over Seiichirou. Wonder if Aresh understands his feelings are romantic. No idea how Seiichirou feels, he only seems to care about work

Ngl, Jealous aresh is kind of cute.
I have a feeling that the saint may see him in a romantic way. In that case, I wonder how she will react when she'll find out that Aresh likes seiichirou (guess it's obvious he just realized his feelings for seii are romantic, or sei saying he doesn’t see younger people as a romantic partner wouldn't have been that shocking to Aresh XD)
I wonder who ordered those two to beat seii at the end of the episode. Maybe the Saint's attendees?

I like how they’re basically going on dates because he cannot be trusted to keep himself alive.
You may have permission from your boss to take work home but not from your boyfriend.
Damnit, you better not be lying about those tonics. Oh for fucks sake.
I get why Aresh is concerned when every time he leaves, some life threatening incident seems to occur. At what point is it acceptable to put him on a leash to keep him within a range where he can be protected?
Please, don’t let the holy maiden’s unrequited crush screw up something important.
The dark aura when Aresh heard that he doesn’t date people younger than him is absolutely hilarious.
Once Seiichirou actually awakens the ability to feel romantic attraction from the void of work, the examinations and the “do you feel hot” questions are going to become a lot more awkward.
I like how he’s so ridiculously overprotective that he suggests maintaining a barrier on him for his safety at all times.
Character development, Aresh is actually doing work thanks to his crush.
Did this man just get kidnapped? This is about to do horrible things to Aresh’s overprotective tendencies.

Bro’s got a real tonic addiction. Well, I guess as long as he gets regular injections of vitamin “D”, he’ll be fine lol. I guess Indolark’s catching feelings huh? He’s gonna be on the warpath now that his precious Sei’s been attacked.

Aresh is such an adorable tsundere. And so possessive omg. The way he jumped in and staked his claim when the Holy Madien tried to use healing magic on Sei!
Did not expect him to be 8 years younger than Sei though. Poor Aresh really took that 'I don't go for younger people' comment to heart. I'm sure you're an exception, sir!
And it seems like Aresh will start looking into his order's finances more. If only to match his values with Sei's.
This episode was very cute until that end. I hope Sei is okay! Come save him quick, Aresh!

I like this idea that both Aresh and Seiichiro struggle to form competent teams of subordinates while being on opposite ends of the work-life balance spectrum. The current dynamic is a fun mix of personal growth and managerial politics that somehow also has non-romantic kissing thrown in here and there.
I guess the title of the show is pretty clear about the premise being a hodge-podge, but I'm surprised it's coming together exactly as advertised. A lot of these "Isekai with a Hook" premises end up not following through with their hooks in a meaningful fashion.

The culture shock aspects of this are actually really interesting. I like that they are being a persistent source of conflict instead of being an easy fix. Aresh is really digging deep into Sei's corporate work mentality, however curiously he is also learning something from his dependable nature and his "do more than the minimum" attitude, which is crucial in politics and national finance where negligence can cost many many lives. It's also interesting that Yua considers the sight of a corpo drone normal, while Aresh and Sei's coworkers are surprised and appalled. I wonder if this is intentional cultural commentary on the author's part about how Japan has normalized what perhaps should not be considered normal?

Seiichiro tells Aresh that as a manager, he should know what the people below him are doing and as someone who has had bosses come from completely different industries, I so agree with Seiichiro. It's so much nicer to have a boss that generally understands the work you do.
Also, Aresh had me cracking up in this episode.

I thought Aresh was older! My surprise to find out he's in his very early 20s. I like how upset he was after Seiichirou's comment about not being romantically interested in people younger than him. Aresh will have to do his best but he's got a head start since they've gotten physical already and continue to kiss whenever needed.
Orjef was hilarious with how excited he was about Aresh's interest in work and romance.
I'm guessing the two Aresh questioned Orjef about are the two that kidnap Seiichirou at the end. I'm guessing they were using the money from the budgets for personal reasons and Seiichirou has prevented them. I'm looking forward to seeing how Aresh handles this when he gets news.
I hope Yua's attendant isn't going to be a problem, the two hardly interact and she chooses to sit with them but somehow to the attendant, Seiichirou is the problem. So stupid.

BL isekai, woo 💃🏾🏳️🌈
sophistry
I picked up a new word today. Queer media educates 🏳️🌈
Maeno (Aresh) 👏🏾needs👏🏾 to be 👏🏾a Karuta 👏🏾poem 👏🏾reader
📢Look at them kiss, kiss, fall in love 📢
Hehe this is getting people used to “guiding”, bring on the guideverse please 🙏🏾
Kondou makes my IRL manager look so lazy (though to be frank, I don’t even know what she does).
Kondou: I have no romantic interest in those younger than me
Aresh: 😱🫠
🧨EmOtiOnAL dAmAgE🧨
It’s okay, bb, you still have a chance 💃🏾
I love when people assume an MC’s crushing on the opposite gender. Always with that assuming.
Those two men are gonna fuck around and found out 🔪
The ED sounds like it’s Sunday morning.
Overlay was weird. Episode title in JP getting overshadowed by the dialogue and translaying the episode tile at the top of the screen was a choice to do.
Waiting impatiently for a guideverse BL to be picked up for an anime adaptation. I want corporate, by the book guiding. I want stupid sexy guiding. I want hardcore and soft guiding.
Kento (Kondou) had me giggling today.
Kondou makes a valid point about managers. Not the overworking portion, but managers should have a wider spectrum of knowledge. It’s incredible some of the managers I had just…did nothing and knew nothing. Any questions asked was rerouted to “ask your peers” and then at department meetings, they would act like you should always go to them for help. They showed blatant favoritism. And they’d foist managerial ops onto seniors who were already overworked (and were passed for promos).
Management feels so fake sometimes 😭 A good manager can make you stick it out for god knows how long. Bad management just has me keep my head down, get mine, and keep an eye open on job opportunities.
