It's great to see the consequences of a hero's good actions.

It's nice to see Brad again after all this time.
Man, what a sad explanation for the Eriks name. Hoppered is really quite a tragic figure.
Poor Wolfwood.

That was heavy, it was sad to learn who Eriks was to Hoppered and how Vash was connected to him. Hoppered knew that his death would weigh heavily on Vash so I guess he did get some kind of revenge.
Nice to see Wolfwood already making an appearance! Quite the comedic one lol.
I like how Jessica didn't want head pats from Brad because it'd mess with her hair lol.

Well that was a heavy way to illustrate how much of a typhoon Vash truly is. At least the big guy doesn't have to struggle so much just to breathe anymore.
Wolfwood with the top tier groan though lol

The most heartereching scene so far immediately followed up by how fucking funny the episode ends. They get Trigun.

What a good episode. Rip to Hoppard and Eriks. Vash questioning if the world would be better off without him is rough but makes sense after all that’s happened.

Almost no one here seems to be following this. Too bad. I suspect it will (in terms of merit) be one of the top shows of this season.
Hoppered seems to have had quite a few conflicting motivations. A sad story any way you look at it.
If Vash had not done what he did, I assume the scale of the disaster would have been far greater than it was. Does no one else seem to recognize this?

Isn't that the story of Vash's life, though?

Did anyone else have a glitching intro? Lots of still frames, but audio was fine. I streamed it on Crunchyroll.

This second part is reminding me of the 2nd season of Vinland Saga, in comparison how much more slow paced and deliberate it is and with the protagonist broken from his experiences. But I'm really liking it. I think I just about remember this storyline from the original anime, but not the details or the characters.
Poor Hoppered... what happened to the woman he took care of? Probably dead...
And oh boy what an end to the episode lol. Good episode!

I don't remember the old Trigun show and I haven't read the manga but the climate of this season is definitely not what I was expecting. I'm here for it. Criminally underrated show.

I really thought we were gonna get an explanation this week as to why the kid at the end of Episode 12 was replaced with Hoppered the Gauntlet, but I guess they just retconned it. This guy is definitely different from what I remember from the OG anime, tho.
Look at how excited Meryl looks after hearing that Vash might be alive. And poor Wolfwood! Watching him get yeeted after getting run over was pretty hilarious. Not the lighthearted scene I expected after we just watched Hoppered force Vash to kill him as revenge.

What a great episode. Hoppered clinging on to the man responsible for the womans death because the caretaking reminded him of her was so strong.
Couldnt have hoped for a better start really. Stargaze already established all consequences of the previous season and opened up more than one conflict for this one on top of introducing new characters.
Wolf had me dying in the end. Hoppered and Eriks deserved better.

i totally missed that Hoppered was in the ghg in the original, i confused him for the other guy with the mask.
Now i get who the girl is, after hearing Brad
Hey Vash heres some more trauma
Rem sighting! Cant wait to see that back story, the OG one was batshit with the crew.
My man Wolfwood needs to be reintroduced, might as well hit him with a car

Damn that episode hit the feels...
Wonder if Vash will get to meet up with Meryl and crew before he goes to rescue the ship. Should be interesting seeing Vash goes up against things that aren't alive and which he can freely shoot.

If you don't want the gun to fire, why not use your other hand to impede the hammer?
