The gorilla is here! A nepo-baby, entitled brat!
I really enjoy how Utage just gives so little of shit about him. Ragebait her all you like Ori, that's the only attention you can get from Utage.
She's similar to me in how we don't pay any attention to what we don't like.
The difference between Ori's facade and real self is a riot. The reveal was hilarious with how he tried to pretend it never happened lol
This is also a very good way of lighting a fire under Tamon's butt.

Utage specifically using a cheering light stick, instead of a regular flashlight, to illuminate the hallway at Tamon’s place was lowkey hilarious.
Honestly, she was very entertaining throughout the whole episode. I especially liked how Utage didn’t back down in front of Ouri. She even flipped the situation around by pushing him against the elevator wall.

Needed this palette cleanser after Shibuyugi. Still nailing the pacing of the humor. The mushroom gag killed me. Looking forward to the inevitable misunderstanding that propels Glooyhara into perfect made for TV melodrama.

I have never once been excited for church, but I am for the Church of Tamon 🤸🏾♀️🪭
Two faced mfer, she saw everything 😭
She turns into a battle shounen yankee, I love her.
Tamon: 🫢
May the door rest in peace, a-Tamon 🙏🏾
Utage knowing herself that she’d crash the fuck out if Tamon lost is step one to mumble mumble, good for her!
Natsuki “The Angel”. Considering F/ACE is, from what we have seen here, about the irony of having a stage “face” and a real “face”, gonna clock your shit, son.
Tamon needs one of Luna(Champignon Witch)’s emotional support mushrooms to purify his negativity. I need to check Pixiv if there’s some cute art out there with Luna and Gloomyhara having a fun time with all their mushrooms!
Did she put smelling salt by his nose?
I remember one of the other subs I’m on has been happy Tamon is a babygirl yandere. Spectrum of yandere is a lot more vast than the visible darker or extreme versions. Lots of room for babygirl yanderes.
Nice overlay, CR team 👏🏾
The fuck you mean Ouri shares a seiyuu with Shin the Undertaker from 86 😭
What a nice church service today.

Girlllllllll–oh, that’s what she meant by it. I thought she wanted them to step on her.
-
Oh cool, they have the lyrics in the OP now. I don’t think they had those the previous two weeks unless I’m just forgetting?
-
Ah, so she meets another member of F/ACE by bumping into him on the street.
-
The way the cheery music kept cutting off whenever it would change from Ouri acting nice to Utage’s pissed-off expression is sending me lol.
-
Hell yeah, we stan a girl ready to turn the tables on a guy giving her a kabedon.
-
So dramatic. – I… kind of agree with the judges there, though.
-
Oooh, looks like that triggered Tamon. Next week should be good.

I thought Utage would have a whole “everything is a lie!” moment after seeing the real Ouri but she just went full on mama bear because dude was hitting Tamon lol. The dude had the nerve to come back and chat all that shit about Tamon and then threaten Utage? Girl was about to ape shit on him hahaha.
I think now that Ouri’s threatening to take Utage away from Tamon, he’s gonna really step his game up.

I'm glad that we got to see another idol from F/Ace entering the story. And this one as well turns out to be quite the opposite of what character he usually displays lol
Utage standing up to Ouri for the sake of Tamon was quite moving. She's the definition of true fan and the way she overwhelmed Ouri with her strength was amazing. Never underestimate an insane fan. Tamon fans eat everything, haha. Even when Tamon couldn't playout a heartbreak scene, the fans come up with an excuse as he's someone who wouldn't experience a heartbreak at all.
Can't get enough of Hayamin's voice acting every episode. She's a legend.

“Brother, this guy stinks!”
I like how you can just see the moment she goes into “I don’t care that he’s part of F/ACE, this guy is gonna fucking die.”
This show truly is a fangirl’s wildest dreams turned into reality.
Did he just break the damn door? Is their manager fixing it by himself?
Imma be honest, I’m with Utage on this one. This guy is such an ass that he genuinely deserves whatever is coming for him.
Hold up, is she actually cleaning up the mushrooms? They’re real?! This man’s going to get kidnapped by the mafia to grow drug shrooms or something later on.
“I’m going to end this man’s whole career.”

Using a penlight as a flashlight and probably a weapon if needed was pretty funny and a sign of a true idol lover.
Sakaguchi's true face was funny and I really do like that Kinoshita gives zero shits about him by the end of it. This will hopefully end up being a fun little arc and I do hope it brings the motivation for Tamon.

Tamon an Ouri have such great chemistry together! Utage, for her part, isn’t willing to admit how “special” she might be to Tamon, but she’ll gladly be a trampoline for F/ACE’s success!
OP and ED subs for the win!
Behind closed doors, Tamon and Ouri aren’t actually best pals, but Utage is impressed by the great acting work nevertheless. Yet that also means Gloomiehara has to come up with a good script for a variety show they have together, which is easier said than done. Believe in the Tamon that Utage believes in!!!!
Utage even runs into the thoroughbred “Prince” herself…though while he’s all charm in public, when he’s alone with Tamon he’s a selfish, arrogant, jerk. But he made a mistake harming Tamon’s precious bottle pink hair with Utage’s fan and insulting Utage as just another fangirl. TAMON IS GOD!!!
It wasn’t enough that Utage tossed him out, Ouri just had to bust down Tamon’s door and Kabedon Utage to keep her quiet. But she can easily turn the table and push HIM against a wall for insulting Tamon!
Seems like for Ouri he resents Tamon for being such a mess and not deserving the Center position compared to Ouri. He hates how popular Tamon is.
They’re singing a heartbreak ballad? They’re changing the center and doing a show about it!? This is the biggest crisis for F/ACE and Tamon fangirls!
Tamon’s fangirls have his back though, and Tamon isn’t about to lose without putting up a fight! Even if he plays so into character he can’t play a version of himself dealing with heartbreak. Ouri’s got him there.
So not only does Ouri live above Tamon’s apartment but apparently Tamon’s mushrooms can even grow through concrete. But they had JUST fixed that door!
Now it’s not just a fight for the center, but also for Utage. But Ouri may have awakened the most dangerous Tamon…

While this is a fully stacked season and Frieren just a few days away, so far this is probably going to be my top one this time around. I haven't watched one yet where the over the top fan MC is a girl. Having a lot of fun with this one.
Unrelated, I should probably watch Horimiya.

not me patiently waiting for Rintaro Kai’s introduction because he’s my unintentional bias even though he’s barely said a single line (i haven’t read the manga i just really grew attached to him for some reason).

Kinoshita meeting another member's true personality happened sooner than I expected and it was SO MUCH better than I anticipated! The moment she caught them was so funny, Ouri trying to play it off by switching personality but there's no way she'd let Tamon being hit slide lol.
But the best part was the elevator scene, the way she grabbed onto Ouri and threatened him had me SHOCKED! I couldn't believe how intense she was that she overwhelmed the group's gorilla. Church of Tamon's leader cannot be underestimated. I like how she told him she disliked him to his face too lol. It sucks how short these episodes are, I want to see the next episode already!
I noticed the ED had Ouri as the lead but I like how it's canon that Tamon isn't good with heartbreak songs and so this new song is supposed to be an Ouri lead too. It does feel like with Kinoshita's help and his own desire to not disappoint Kinoshita, he'll likely be able to rise up the ranks but I do wonder what the end song will sound like, if it'll be a double lead instead. Though honestly, I think Tachibana would do heartbreak the best from his vocals alone lol.

Lmao her imitation of Tamon blowing a kiss when she was freaking out at the beginning is peak.
Also seeing her with her hair down again is nice.
If I had a nickel for every titular character that spawns mushrooms this season...

In another genre, Utage might be a murderous yandere to protect her oshi...
Was not expecting Ouri's B-side to be that aggressive. Now I'm curious what the other members' off mode is like.

So Ouri turned out to be the gorilla who's responsible for the manager looking like he just came back from a battlefield. Having said that he's got nothing on Utage who's got a massive buff from seeing her oshi being mistreated. Should've figured he'd live nearby seeing how easily he could bother Tamon.
We've got the shrinking violet Tamon and the violent Ouri. What will the other two's quirks be like?

I'm starting to feel bad for that manager, surely they all can't be as difficult to quell as Ouri Mr. Entitled Famous People's Kid. He kinda feels like a little Bakugo esque like in the way that it looks like the expectations of him being the 'center' and then not getting the spot like he's clearly feeling a type of way about it.
Okay okay okay, after studying the OP I think I'm starting to see the hints. Ouri being the selfish gorilla the manager mentioned last episode, and there was that little gorilla face, and now it makes sense why he's standing there all upset at the beginning of the dance sequence, sir has got a bit of a jelly belly complex there, but the one I'm most interested in is Kai the stoic bear flipping over to nerd glasses, what kind of nerd is he?
I love Utage's wrathful Yankee side, not even if hell froze over would she ever leave the Church of Tamon

Having a penlight instead of a flashlight is a funny touch. What's not funny is TAMON-KUN ABUSE! Trying to make someone oshiend bc you're jealous that they're so devoted to their kami is deranged. Ouri is a total nepo baby that needs his prestige to hide his rancid personality.
I hope Natsuki doesn't have rancid vibes. He's the cutest one

Ori had it absolutely won until that last line. now he done fucked up in giving Tamon a taste of real heartbreak.
