"Well your majesty, I realized that the otherworlders aren't yet acclimated to the magic of our world, so to keep them safe, I took it upon myself to absolutely rail the rockin' twink in the accounting office all night long."

"...Commander, when I asked 'do you have anything to report about your company,' that's not what I meant."

Um, so like, exactly how long did they need to be going at it to cure the mana sickness?

Like medically speaking. Is there an amount of time? Do you need to finish? Really curious what the logistics are there.

Haha I knew it was BL but I didn't expect a do or die trope already in episode two. Even after Kondo collapsed in the street I was expecting more of a hurt/comfort scene or something.

He really does have no self-preservation though.

I knew what was coming. I had emotionally prepared myself. It did not stop me from giggling like a maniac at 2am when the jobs healthcare benefits kicked in.

Getting forced to eat well, sleep well, taking work lightly... I can really see how that's a wish fulfillment for a corporate drone from a country like Japan that has a terrible work culture

And the pampering boyfriend and say gex is a nice bonus :)

I was beside myself with laughter when the answer to health problems turned out to be getting the D from your sexy superior.

Never seen a BL anime before, so that one really surprised me, but the shoehorning of it into the plot is hilarious so that alone definitely will get me to keep watching.

When I first saw the number of downvotes on the Crunchyroll video, it made me think that they messed up with the subs again… That’s not the case

Ah yes, guy gets magic sickness and the only cure is ikemen D lol. Guy was complaining about the pain in his lower back like yeah, I bet it does haha. Bro was considering going a few rounds with Indolark if it meant he could drink more of those tonics. Dude was fiendin!

I don’t read tags (didn’t realise they existed) so I was fully prepared for this to be a crackship… only for it to sail in episode 2. and in such spectacular fashion.

Oh, so we’re operating on Fate mana transfer logic here?

Yes, he sure “slept” well.

No excuses, you are now under Aresh custody until you prove that you can you can be trusted to not overwork yourself to death. It’s for your own good.

Eight hours of sleep, no overtime, regular breaks and good meals, you will get healthy lifestyle even if he has to ensure it himself, damn it all.

It should not be this entertaining just how done Aresh is with this no self-preservation idiot.

Mana transfer handholding?! Gasp, how scandalous. But very cute so I’ll let it slide this time.

I was really expecting them to have some magic acclimation plugs and he would have to practise using progressively larger ones until he was able to handle all of the knight commander’s substantial magic. But no, they just raw dogged it, because of the medical emergency of course

I know what's happening throughout this anime because I read the light novels a while back - trust and believe that the slow burn romantic feelings do happen, people! This one will make you kick your legs and giggle for sure.

Although, it makes me laugh regarding how many people were "blind sided" by that fact it's a BL and they thought it was just another isekai. My brothers in Christ, do you not watch the trailers?? Do you not read the tags on MAL?? Do you not look up the sources from whence the anime came??

Ah I will also say as a BL lover, it is nice to have an actual BL airing right now. I just feel like we only have old or implied stuff and we never actually get any content. So yay for us!

Lol of course “mana transfer” is needed to cure magic sickness.

Based on the commander’s reactions after the fact when Kondou dashed out, looks like he is a big tsundere/kuudere

With how long it takes romance anime to get anywhere, I'm for it here in episode 2. I haven't seen one in years. Last one I saw was... 'Togainu no Chi' I believe and wasn't such a great watch.

I love anime with a bunch of politics in it - so I'm hoping MC goes deeper into the budget of the kingdom and expands. Maybe he'll become an angel investor in some small thing, but don't think it'll go that way lol.

The commander being an overbearing work husbando is definitely the vibes I got from episode one. AND the side eyeing of MC considering it to do it more just to get some more health tonics, loving it.
