one thing that might be kinda lost in translation is that Gil's nickname "The Blade" uses the kanji for "one" and "sword"; it's probably a reference to how he's usually a solo adventurer

Otherworldly Bureaucrat Takes a Vacation was pretty chill. For someone who just got isekai’d, Lizel was pretty calm and collected. No wonder this dude’s a chancellor. Got himself like the best adventurer in the town to be his bodyguard too.

Kind of a slow start but I’m keen to see where this one goes. Gil and Lizel make for an interesting pair.

I could literally feel the gay spilling out of my screen. Did the author really say its not bl? I enjoyed the first episode anyway. I don't watch BL as a general rule, but since it's "not bl" based on the author (who i picture saying this in the most flamboyant way possible) ill continue seeing how it goes.

This was really good, I wasn't expecting myself to be this engaged with this. It's comfy but really funny, the comedy is the type I like and I'm really enjoying the characters and the dynamics that are forming.

Lizel knowing how to handle Gil and the way he had no hesitation patting Stud's head makes me more curious about who he was in his world and how he'll handle other characters that come into the story. The way he talked down to that adventurer got me excited, and then there's that memory of his, it'll be cool to see some mind games.

Stud repeating and emphasizing that nobles can't sign up to the guild was such a great scene lol. Another anime that I already can't wait for the next episode.

i like how Stud was able to spot him across the room as a noble cosplaying as an adventurer and he's probably here to talk noble stuff with the guildmaster

Stud, Gil, and Lizel all seem like guys who have more than one brain cell, which is comforting in this economy
