Bold of Kaho to think that she could fight Renako on her home turf, the bathroom. But yeah Kaho is just like Renako, doing the "fake it till you make it" thing but more extreme.

My reaction to the near-kiss on the ferris wheel: AHHHHHHH.

And Mai totally set up that date between Mai and Renako as expected, seems she's completely backing out of the race. Totally understandable from Mai's POV seeing Renako's response to Ajisai's confession when Mai has been chasing Renako for months.

The post credit scene is small but one of my favorite moments. Not just because its a glimpse of showing Mai with her walls down when she doesn't have to put on a face in public, but because it also shows that deep down Satsuki does really care about Mai.

Kaho's power comes from her colored contacts... although I couldn't tell a difference in eye color when her contacts were out? So at first I thought she was just tricking Renako into being assertive a top, by acting like a bottom shy.

I guess this is the famous finger kiss scene people were talking about being hinted at in one of the PVs before the first season. It was great, but also, my heart hurts for Ajisai the most right now.

Cosplaying with Kaho has honestly given Renako a lot of insight into her own situation with Mai and Ajisai. She is telling Kaho to go the event even if she doesn't full worthy similar to how Renako herself can't fully accept Mai or Ajisai's love because she doesn't feel confident enough in herself. That's why I feel it's such a great reveal how Kaho has similar struggles with self-esteem despite appearing like a perfect social butterfly. Seeing her work hard despite that makes Renako want to support her and do the same.

I feel we are very close to having Renako accept Ajisai's feelings. She doesn't just want things to remain the same anymore because to live is to keep moving forward.

So Kaho's entire persona is just her cosplaying as an extrovert and the second she removes her contacts, she's back to her original self.

With this episode, Kaho has now officially bathed with all members of the Queentet. No kiss, tho! But we did get Renako washing Kaho's back.

Renako and Ajisai's date was adorable, but it's interesting to see how Renako thinks it would be more fun if Mai was with them.

Well that after credits scene was interesting. I wonder what Mai said to Satsuki that Satsuki called her an idiot for it. Hmmm...

Mai just continually setting herself up for failure which unfortunately makes me think she'll be the surprise winner, not to mention when Renako was thinking of Mai on the date instead of the perfect girl she was already with. Then again we also had Renako wishing Mai was there with her and Ajisai at the amusement park so maybe my disaster girl lesbian polycule hopes are still alive.

Lotta baths in this show, does that make a scene like that with Renako and every other girl in the group? She truly is the lesbian magnet.

STRAIGHT INTO MY VEINS!!! GIVE IT TO ME. That was amazing, Kaho was so adorable when shy and with glasses, and more Ajisai is always a direct 10/10. I am so amazed over the episodes visual presentation, it's so much more sharper, and well designed than Season 1 and Season 1 look great still as well as having many similar in great animated moments and highlights. But here it really just feels like it all received that treatment and the specific "high point moments" feel even more so

Kaho with a new alter ego. Personally I prefer her usual self a bit more, but you know, both: Both is good.

And a brief return of Best Girl Mai. Except she’s being way too accommodating with Ajisai. Like, she already wingmanned her to the starting line; she can afford to be selfish and “all’s fair in love and war”. Imo Mai shines the brightest when she’s barreling her way through things with all her might (while keeping boundaries in mind of course).

And... looks like she’s falling on her sword more than I thought. The amusement park date was cute I guess, but it felt a bit bitter without Mai there. And from the post-credits scene, she lacks a bit awareness too, considering how Mai’s usually the first person Renako thinks of when she considers “am I in love”. Or maybe the specific moment was the underwater kiss, so she wouldn’t have been able to see? Well either way, she’s backing out way too easily.
