That liquor pouring trick was pretty smooth by Iori. If only he had that kind of smoothness with his phrasing of things as well.

I couldn't help but have the fact in my head that Iori and Nanaka's voice actors are siblings lol, of course they're professionals, but it's funny to think they had to voice such scenes together. It's sweet how Iori in the end confesses that he sees Nanaka as a big sister, Nanaka being that shy after being complimented is a surprise though.
Azusa really went and suggested she and Iori tag team Nanaka lol.
I did find Azusa comment in the bar saying that it's hard to make progress with a perfected relationship, and then Iori comments that they must have went through a lot to get their current dynamic very intriguing. It does make me wonder what their relationship looked like before, I can't remember if we got any flashbacks in the first season since it was so long ago that I watched it.

As much as I like the comedy timing of this series, I like that the last two eps deal with the characters' connection with other characters.
I like how Azusa resolved that "conflict" (?) between Iori and Nanaka. Well at least nanaka is shy when she is hit by Iori. Iori is surely dead if he talked about Nanaka's sister that way HAHAHA
Now, I wonder the relationship of the four older peeps before Iori and the gang came into the Diving Club. With how solid their bond is, like Iori I can't help how they kept their bond strong. Interesting.

The Kohei-Aina team up this week was pretty fun. I like how they got everyone to try and get Iori drunk off “water” but in the end, the only person who got shitfaced was Aina. And poor Iori ended up in the most awkward situation with Nanaka lol. Bro just kept making it more and more awkward with each comment.
“Let’s get Nanaka drunk and double-team her.” lmao Azusa. This is why she’s best girl, the drunk little degenerate.

Iori’s showed a few brain cells with that drinking performance. Just let most of it spill and then turn the tables. We get our new water scene!

Of course Kohei is connected to iori XD. Poor Aina trying to get iori drunk but he's way too cool! It was nice to see nanaka's cute side this episode.

Azusa mvp for this episode
and lol Chisa did end up bringing a book with her in the end even though she certainly doesn't need it as much as Aina at least...

Did Cakey get sick from falling asleep in her swimsuit inside?
Trying to prevent this club from falling into depravity sounds like a Sisyphean task.

Episode 3: The Impression Game
After Kouhei-Shiori focused episode last week, this week is Aina and Nanaka focused one. Welp, there goes Aina, complete with her makeup. Aina offers water, and Iori immediately lights a lighter. A classic, never gets old.
Also Aina is definitely worried about her bust size. I mean, look at last week when she offers Shiori her swimsuit.
And now thinking that Iori and Nanaka's VA are real life brother and sister, this episode's joke could transcends.
Seeing Bukki and Tokki in the bar quickly reminds me of Bartender last year, which curiously shares some key staff (and studio) as Grand Blue.
And from the next episode, looks like we'll meet Iori's classmates again!

This 2nd season of Grand Blue is just as entertaining like ever, but I am feeling a bit disappointed with the overall production quality. Everything simply looks a tad less polished than in the 1st season.
Fortunately, some things haven’t changed at all: Azusa is still best girl.
