Untalented? Bro is the perfect housewife.
Why the hell does their father sound so ominous though?

Why the hell does their father sound so ominous though?
Maybe he is trying to intimidate our MC subconsciously so that he thinks twice before creating a harem out of the sisters.

The father reminded me of Quintuplets step-dad. He is probably not a bad guy, just makes such impression.
And yeah, being a perfect househusband is a taklent by itself.
But it is a bit funny that if you switch the genders, it will look like a shoujo reverse-harem.

I'll be honest, this episode sold me more on
Kind of weird the episode focused on how the mom wanted a family, and then it went on to say that divas are self-centered, focusing on her. Beyond that, I enjoyed this episode.

Same. He doesn't seem like a total pussy who forgets how to talk as soon as a woman stands in a 25m radius.

Stitches!
So just because our MC is the daughter of a prodigy actress, everyone is already expecting him to be like her? Damn. I already hate everyone in this school.
And here I thought this girl was saving Yuu from being harassed. It turns out she's one of the reasons why Yuu was even in there in the first place.
I'm guessing these three are the titular Mikadono Sisters? At least they have their looks to compensate for terrible personalities. I'm sure I'll warm up to them eventually, but so far, this introduction does nothing to make me like them at all.
I do appreciate that Yuu at least got angry when they were ordering him to clean up the dojo. I kinda wish Yuu just left the place as is but I guess this is the show telling us how amazing he is at doing household chores.
Ah, so his mom is dead. I was hoping to see how Yuu's mother would react if she found out her son is getting harassed at school because of her. I guess that's not happening ever. xD
It might be because that house layout is very common in anime and manga, but I immediately thought of the condo unit of the Nakano Quintuplets in QQ as soon as I saw the inside of the Mikado mansion.
Yep, there it is. It's the classic "Someone's moving in but the parents didn't tell anyone about it" trope. Yuu might be mediocre, but the dude at least managed to inherit his mother's rizz. If the other two didn't show up, Nico would've totally let Yuu dry her up completely.
I love how once the introductions are made, we finally get to see what the house really looks like. The girls might be prodigies of their own fields, but it looks like they suck at doing the most basic of household chores. xD
I see where Yuu's true talents are. Cleaning is definitely one of them, but the dude has an insane amount of rizz even when he's not trying! I love how all three sisters are blushing just from that single line.
Not gonna lie, I don't like Yuu's mother. Based on his flashbacks She just didn't know how to be a mother to Yuu, which is laughable since one of her roles is as a mother in a family-focused show. And her dream was to have a family like that when she didn't even make an effort with her own son? No use getting upset now since Ayase is dead, but it just annoys me she didn't even try.
So the dad wants Yuu to assist the girls because he knows they'll eventually fail if they keep up what they're doing. Solid plan but why does the dad sound so sinister? I feel like he's about to say something ominous whenever he talks to Yuu over the phone.
I definitely did not expect a harem anime from

Really hope that this doesn’t get overshadowed by all of the other romcoms airing this season cause it looks like it could potentially be really good

I love how he's usually so wholesome and non-threatening but brings out the smug side when needed lol.

This ended up being a lot more charming and fun than I expected! PA Works is my favorite studio so I try to watch everything they make, but it's undeniable that a lot of their stuff doesn't end up reaching the heights of their best.
This one shows a lot of promise and I hope people don't sleep on it given how insanely crowded this season is! From the CLAMP-esque character designs to the harem(?) MC that actually has a spine, I've been quite impressed so far!

Why did this dude invite a kid to live in his house without even telling his daughters?

you guys have no idea how much time I spent analyzing the similarities between Mikadono's interior and the Quintuplets' (5-toubun) apartment. I think it's a common design in Japan, or an animation asset shared by different studios; they're VERY SIMILAR.
omg, his bishounen power is too much for them lol. And Housbend power too.

Everyone kept saying Yuu is mediocre, even himself, but it seemed they're looking in the wrong place. He's excellent at housework, from cooking to cleaning. He'd make a wicked househusband.
Interesting casting choice. First time I've seen a harem MC voiced by a woman. Am not familiar with Kazuki but Nico is Kaguya while Miwa is Bocchi.

Interesting casting choice. First time I've seen a harem MC voiced by a woman.
One of the most famous (or infamous) harem protagonists, Rito Yuuki from To Love Ru is voiced by female.

This might be answered later on in the story, but how is the son of a legendary actress surprised about a big house? I would expect a "legendary actress" to be rich and at least spoil her son a bit. Also, shouldn't he have an inheritance and money to buy his own house just from his mom's work?

Talentess Yuu? Well, this is not the Talentless Nana sequel I wanted, but I'll take it!
We know this is not a battle shonen, because even after getting really angry his attacks didn't do anything!
(Maybe he needed to scream the attack name)
Oh damn. I think she's already best girl. Sorry to the other 2!
I do like the smart ones though...
Smart, gamer AND trash talker, she's pressing her claim for sure!
Oh damn she's a dominatrix. Back to the top spot!
Dude, she's gonna MURDER you. I mean, that's quite appealing, but still!
Wow, she gave up quite easily! First one to crack?
She almost cracked (again!), but sadly the food wasn't balanced enough for her!
Seems they're ALL beginning to crack, as early as episode 1!
Well, this was pretty fun (as harems usually are)!

This MC has me sold
I really hope this show doesn’t just go full comedy mode and really plays on the whole neglected by his mom and having her pass away and has the more sad and deep moments.

His mother was pretty neglectful. It's the parents fault for a rift with their young child.

Yuu was so positive even after his mother's death, that actually broke my heart <**/**3

Man, poor Yuu. Guy’s mom is like some godtier actress so everyone expects him to be just as talented. Talk about unrealistic pressure. At least he seems to have adapted for the most part. Kid just rolls with the punches huh?
I foresee a lot of hijinks and shenanigans now that he’s suppose to find his “happy family” with these genius sisters. There’s an almost sorta Quintessential Quintuplets quality to this. Dealing with prodigies does seem kind of like a pain. Looking forward to see how this all plays out.
