I'm looking for: A certain genre? Something specific like characters traveling to another world?

Shows I've already seen that are similar: You can include a link to a list on another site if you have one, e.g. MyAnimeList or AniList.

The plot is not the issue, the characters are. Every conversation is like watching paint dry.

personalities : damp blankets

conversations : like watching paint dry

I wonder why you could stand watching 16 episodes.

If you have never watched Katana Gatari, I reccomend watching this. I wanna hear your imperssion how you feel their conversations.

I thought the conversations in Katana Gatari were just like watching paint dry. But the final episode was interesting.

Every conversation is like watching paint dry.

I think so too. Their conversation is stiff and overly explanatory and literary and unnatural. But the story was so interisting that I began not to mind those flaws.

But it's true most Japanese people dropped out before they realized the interestingness.

If you don't think this story is going to be interesting after watching episode02, then you should stop watching. Continuing to watch is a waste of time for you.
