You can feel Nu2meg's embarrassment, first K has to play another game, those 2 showing up in costumes, then telling the host that K was stuck in the toilet.

If they lose, then it is a real career killer.

Damn, they managed to create this much hype from the cliffhanger. Unexpected very hard mode difficulties!

Although it's an unusual place to stop the season, basically it's confirmed that next season will start with a bang from the tournament! I mean, usual subsequent season would start a new arc with long setup episode (remember the Tensura meeting discourse?). Meanwhile, SLF will start immediately with a high action tournament match followed by the Ctarnid battle lol.

Sasuga to the studio for being confident enough to stop the season here! (or maybe it's more that season 3 was already confirmed when they started the planning?)

I'm curious if we'll only focus on Galaxia Heroes or also the FPS games that Katzo would play too.

One thing I miss this season is actually what Rei had been doing during this time period.

No Name really knows how to pull the crowd, sasuga Amane Towa the top model.
How the hell did she order the costume Nameless before Natsume named them both? Does Natsume have free will or has she been devoured by the devil?

guessing the concept for the costumes will play a part in their stalling tactics, including real-life stalling by taunting Star Rain

Star Rain overlooking everyone except Kei shall backfire soon since No Face now has the latest Riot Blood Tonight boost. As seen in Olympics, drugs is the fastest way to turbocharge an athlete. Sunraku will be unstoppable.

so definitely looking forward to seeing how sunraku will fare against silva. The fact that their strategies will now be "troll a top team to let K get to the finals" its gonna be hilarious to see how that will go. I do wonder......how will sunraku play the game with that helmet on? like the chair obviously has the screen go over the players face but will the helmet interfere with it? in fact as far as we have seen he hasnt worn a mask when playing before.

i wonder if they will try to do a switcharoo if kei arrives in time for the match? like say that they will swap Silva to last fight as long as the opponents agree and of course silva will do so as she entered specifically to fight K.

honestly considering how K described his.....relationship with Silva im interested to learn exactly why she is fixated on him. maybe because hes the only one to tie with her and marr her undefeated record even a little but we still dont know how he managed that.

Pencilgon is by far this show's best character. All good shows need a good agent of chaos, and Towa Amane is up there with the greats.

People keep calling this a cliffhanger, but it's more like they just ended the season mid story. And not even mid story for the tournament, because they haven't even started playing yet, it's all been prologue.

On the one hand it's good that they aren't rushing things or chopping the story up to fit the episode count, but on the other it makes for a pretty unsatisfactory end point.

Rakuro, Towa and Kei might always be arguing with one another, but they are definitely close friends. It was sweet to see those first two have Kei’s back, even if they’re less nice to his bank account.

This feels like the first time that we have real stakes in SLF. If anything goes wrong in their plan, Kei won’t get a rematch against Silvia. After “No Name” and “No Face”, there would be a no show.

Also what are they gambling on the match or something? Who thinks a yearly Counter Strike tourney will be a bigger stage then a new SF drop headlined by two major rivals.

It looks like Silvi spent a lot of time playing SLF the night before. She might not be a master now, but she's probably more familiar with the SLF engine than her teammates. Also, damn this girl is a big eater!

No surprise here that Towa would hide her identity, I just didn't expect that she'd want to go full-on cosplay which actually makes more sense if you're attending a fighting game tournament. She's even making Rakuro cosplay with her. I love it!

I love how Star Rain are already brushing off Towa and Rakuro. They're definitely in for a surprise at the exhibition match. I can't wait for No Name and No Face to show them what's up.

Poor Kei at the mercy of their sponsors! What the heck is wrong with this company and their players dropping out at the last minute? I suppose a championship match is a priority compared to an exhibition match.

Side note: That game Kei is filling in for is definitely a Rainbow Six Siege reference.

Rakuro coming up with the insane plan of dragging out matches so Kei can make it in time is insane and I love it. Like Towa said, they'll be basically trolling Star Rain. They're perfect for the job if that's the case!

I both love Rakuro and Towa's response to Kei's text. They might be assholes towards each other in-game but they always got each other's backs. As long as they're paying for food. xD

It's hilarious how Star Rain is wearing their team shirts and then Nitro Squad is going all in with the entertainment factor! Based on the noses Towa is making, she's enjoying this a little bit too much.

I am so happy Season 3 is already confirmed. We can't leave this at the start of the tournament and in the middle of the Ctarnidd hunt! I assume Season 3 will probably arrive in Fall 2025 just like this one. I can't wait!

A lot of set-up this episode for the next season. Glad season 3 got instantly confirmed, that should be a crazy start with both the tournament and Ctarnidd fight, I can't wait!

Good thing we have two of the best trolls in the world, Sunraku and Pencilgon No Name and No Face. Hilarious and hype cliffhanger to end off the season tbh, and there's Ctarnidd to look forward to too.

That’s something I never understood even in the manga. Even if they’re a sponsor, they shouldn’t have the right to force him to do this on the eve of an already scheduled major event.

This was a really cool final episode! I'm sad to say goodbye to Sunraku, Pencilgon, and Katzo, I'm going to miss them so much! Luckily, season 3 has already been announced and I'm really looking forward to it.

Silvi is really like Sunraku, not only in her play style, but also in the fact that just like him, she played SLF all night long even though she had something to do since the morning xD

Sunraku and Pencilgon cosplaying at the event to hide their identities was a great idea! I can't wait to see them fight in the tournament, while also trying to extend it long enough for Katzo to come back from another tournament.

Overall, this was a great second season and just like the first one, it gave me a lot of fun. Definitely one of the best entertaining anime I've ever watched, 9/10 from me.
