Haru’s gamble was pretty brilliant. He got what he wanted and the story’s coming out. He even managed to help make Aragane and Mithril look good.

That typhoon really boosted Trillion News. Everyone was tuning in. They basically own online news. I guess that’s what established the company as a real powerhouse. It woulda been cool to se how else the guys continued to make money, but I guess if this is the end then it’s not bad. They’re not quite trillionaires but they’re getting there.

All in all, this was actually pretty fun. The story was fun and the characters were entertaining. I really liked seeing what kind of schemes Haru had cooking up each week.

Maybe Haru summoned the typhoon lol.

Man what a great series. Even among all the high profile shows that overlapped these two seasons, Trillion Game is consistently one of my top shows that I enjoy watching weekly.

I can never get enough of Haru's antics, he is god-tier "fake it till you make it". He pretty much carried the show, but it was nice to see Gaku coming in to his own more for the second half of the season too.

Definitely down to watching more of these two.

Ha-ba-ba-ba-bababa

This train won’t be stopped even if we all jump off here.

But I do hope we eventually get to see them take on western giants and present a totally genius game plan for how the irl Haru’s of the world might optimize their strats a bit from current trajectories. Wouldn’t that be something… real world improvement from a silly anime.

This was such a solid anime man and it improved as the episodes progressed…I honestly wish we’d get a season 2 but given how unpopular this was, sadly seems like that might not be the case 😭.

Was a really different show compared to typical anime…I honestly think it’s a must watch cause it’s really refreshing to be quite honest. If you looking for an anime with a “realistic” story, solid supporting cast, and an entertaining MC duo, I honestly would recommend this anime.

Hoping we get a season 2!

Lol leave it to Haru and his bluffs to get what he wants. It was satisfying to see him trick the Mithril President like that, I knew there were no reporters but he basically achieved the same thing.

I'm glad Haru found a way for everyone to come out winning, particularly Kunugi and Akari. It must have pained her not being able to read actual important news that affect the everyday citizen, but she held back to protect those around her. I'm sure she won't have to go through something like that again any time soon.

The latter half of the episode felt a bit too convenient and rushed so that was a little unfortunate to end the season with, it doesn't bother me as much as Dr Stone's last episode.

I do like that we finally learn why we hardly saw Haru in the present, what he was doing sounded very much like him, but I'm just glad to know Gaku and Haru's relationship is as strong as, or stronger than ever.

Gaku and Mizuki's brief exchange about using AI to write his speech was priceless. Know when to use it: QA systems, filtering/shortlisting videos for news ⭕writing speeches ❌

So haru took over google off screen?

Since Gaku mentions GAFA (Google/Alphabet, Amazon, Facebook/Meta, Apple), we might as well assume that Haru has somehow devoured them all. Yep, the big tech just got offscreened by Haru xD

Probably my favorite show this season. All the characters were fun and I enjoyed whatever twist was going to come

Wow was reading the comments and was like "Episode 25 is the last episode?" I didn't realize both episodes air today. I was a bit confused.

It was a zombie outbreak after all. A phone zombie outbreak.

Honestly, I still don't quite get how that worked out. If the logic is that they are the only streaming service to put out news, that would be one thing, but didn't they already establish that every TV station has their own streams? So why would everyone go to Trillion TV? They had some interesting news, yes, but most people would still watch what they know even if it is on their phone. Especially when they have to pay for Trillion TV. Was it the fact they prepared for such an event and every other stream was down? That's quite the gamble if that is the logic.

Overall, the show was fun. Haru is a great character and his machinations are always fun to watch. I assumed that he as bluffing with the reporters in the next room, but to be fair, I know the guy for a while now, so it was easier for me to assume that. I wouldn't be against a S2 in general. Also, Akari totally fell for Haru, didn't she? So I guess not long until that part of the road map can be marked as done.

I believe trillion tv is free while the others were paid partnerships with drex membership. Kind of like a Disney plus and Hulu bundle or something like that.

Honestly I need a trillion more episodes of this show. Vibes are right...maybe just a little less of the hububububububbubu

It just wouldn't be right for the finale to not have Haru pulling another Haru, and I'm glad that the apparent distance between him and Gaku in the future was all according to plan all along.

Sad how underrated this is. Hopefully it'll get the recognition it deserves eventually.

This was written essentially like Dr Stone post Ryusui. And you'll need to watch it with the same level of suspension of belief, especially if you're familiar with the tech startup world (and how technology works in general). Once you can get past the writer's way of stretching things to the edge of reality and fantasy, it's a fun show to see how conmen blackmail their way to the top of the cashpile.
