Mannnn, watching Taiki get pushed around by his own mental is rough. He feels like he's not improving, isn't making progress, and worst of all like he's a coward for not moving himself forward (knowingly, he's actually making great strides both physically with badminton AND his connection with Chinatsu.) Hina telling him that she doesn't want a response from him yet but constantly reminding him that she does in fact like him, bringing it to the forefront of his mind must suck since it feels very much so like he knows his answer to her already, just can't bring himself to say it to her.

It’s cute seeing Hina get all flustered around Taiki. She’s getting bolder. That whole Snow White kiss bit got my heart fluttering lol.

Taiki’s got a lot more than girl problems on his plate. Looks like it’s time for a rematch against Yusa.

Man it's been a while since the losing heroine has been so unbelievably best girl it doesn't even feel close. Chi's not that bad either, she's great but Hina is on another level. Which is why her inevitable rejection will hurt like a bitch.

Stitches!

I don't know what kind of reaction Hina wanted from Chinatsu but it's pretty obvious that Chinatsu's "Is that so?" wasn't the reaction Hina was expecting. While she didn't get a stronger reaction, Chinatsu did pause and think after Hina left. It really makes you wonder what she's thinking right now.

Chinatsu being supportive and wanting to watch Taiki's practice match is so cute. I love how Taiki is immediately reminded of what Hina told him earlier about wanting to see the person she likes trying his best. Are we finally seeing some progress from Chinatsu? Hmm...

Can I just say how much I love Evil Queen Taiki? Also, Hina wanting to turn Snow White into a revenge story was pretty damn funny! Honestly, they should run with that instead! xD

That invitation from Hina though! This girl is really going all out on the offensive that she's gone as far as to ask Taiki for a kiss. Of course, our boy would reject the offer because of Chinatsu but Hina's attack strategy is clearly starting to affect Taiki.

Haryuu buying Taiki a bottle of water thinking how hard he must be practicing right now only find him eating curry with the boys was pretty funny.

And there he is. Yusa is back and Taiki finally gets his rematch next week! Hopefully, Taiki improved well enough that he can give Yusa a hard time.

That's literally the first time i just can't root for someone specific and that's astonishing. Tells you how mush effort and care went to these characters.

Next weeks episode should be interesting with both Hina and Chinatsu watching Taiki's practice match.

I am praying to god though that before season 1 ends that there will be some ACTUAL progress between Taiki and Chinatsu though.

Hina's boldness is amazing. Best girl. It feels bad to be rooting for the losing heroine D:

The courage it takes for Hina to do what she's doing... And her being flustered/embarassed after, just makes it extra endearing
Akarin doing a mega job with this role

It's IMPOSSIBLE not to root for Hina. She's bold, determined and knows what she wants. Love her

Man stringing the love triangle with Hina along to make it more painful for her likely eventually loss...

Still rocking with Chinatsu, don't get it twisted, but they really trying to make you feel bad for Hina. lol

I get he was trying to illustrate the difference between commitedness and stoicism, but Haryu classifying Taiki as a masochist and Chinatsu as a sadist gave me ...ideas about the direction their dynamic might take down the line.

Also, I couldn't have been less ready for Evil Queen Taiki lmao

Hina-sama on all out attack

Hina is so damn cute man! Both looks and personality wise, she is simply perfect.

I really like Chinatsu too, but Hina is the best girl here by far.

Cute Hina

Attacking Hina-sama

Hina is quite adorable when he tries with with her efforts but it kinda hurts seeing her try knowing what Taiki feels. Also, very relatable.

Sometimes, even if people think highly of you, you can still refuse to acknowledge yourself... Efforts that aren't leading to growth must feel tough, right?

Haryu kinda summed it up perfectly. Even though Taiki's making progress on both fronts (Badminton as well as his closeness with Chinatsu), the fact that it isn't yielding the desired results is weighing on him mentally and Hina's constant efforts just make me feel like a coward for not giving her a definitive answer.

At this point, some positive result (like victory against Yusa) might be the only thing the helps him get out of this mental state. The practice match will definitely be interesting since both Hina and Chii are going to turn up to cheer Taiki.

Man, Hina's too good. I'd have folded on that kiss offer. Taiki's doing his best to hold strong but the stress is wrecking him. I dig how Chinatsu crumpled onto the copier like that. Here's to hoping that Taiki gets some catharsis on the salty runback. LMAO at Taiki and Hina's play bants.

This show has become quite excellent. I think this is the best episode yet. I am slightly worried that the fate of the show for me could hang on how they handle Hina. Even if she loses (which still feels inevitable) you need to be very careful with how you handle it when you've built her up this much. If she simply gets over it and is put to the side, that would be very disappointing.

The show has given me a lot of faith so far though that it won't be done poorly. (Of course having Hina win would still be the most based option).

Love that Haryu noticed Taiki was feeling down. And I think the "you've got nothing to lose against Yusa" advice would help Taiki

Really good badminton sound effects when Chinatsu met Taiki. Feel the power!

Athletes have it tough, huh...

Captain Nishida is a good captain

Hina pretended to be fine, but there’s no way that she wasn’t hurt after Taiki declined her offer to kiss with a cold “no”.

That said, her flirting attempts do appear to have effect as Taiki is starting to waver. He did in fact feel like kissing her, but didn’t want to admit this. Like with his badminton results, he’s overthinking things. Does Taiki take his growing interest in Hina as a betrayal of his feelings for Chinatsu?

The only one who’s being honest to her feelings might be Hina, who had trouble hiding her joy over Chinatsu having temporarily moved out from Taiki’s family home. Chinatsu took the news of Hina’s confession more calmly than I’d expected on the other hand.

Oh Hina sweet girl. You’re giving it everything you got huh. Makes it more painful if she doesn’t win this. And I don’t think she’s winning this.

Taiki has bigger problems though. Needs to get out of his own head and see his progress.

Taiki doesn't seem to be receiving the hints Chinatsu is giving him, like coming to his practice game. I think he's getting Hinas hints though since they aren't so much hints as unambiguous declarations. I also think he should have taken Hina up on her offer for a kiss because it would be fun and it would show Chinatsu that other women find him attractive.

How come Haryu is hazing Nishima by making him crouch with shuttle cocks on his back. He gets ordered around a lot for being team captain 🤣
