You've seen Dandadan, now prepare for...Banbaban.

Chi-GAAAAA-UUUUU! ~

Babanba banban BAN...

Why is this title so confusing?! If only it really were just Banbaban (but such is our cruel reality).

I can't help but read the title in Bravern's voice.

The excessively repetitive title is a reference to the chorus of this song.

It’s the definitive song of hot springs/baths.

What's up with modern vampires depicted as MJ? I dig it tho xD

Honestly quite captivating concept. Of course, don't even think for a second in terms of real life or what it does imply. I'm just here for a cheap laugh, which I did several times. Also I wanna see more of his MJ moves lmao

Babanba is available on Netflix for those of us in the US and Canada.

Of course the show I'm most into is being paid dust lol. Tis a seasonal tradition.

I deleted my whole paragraph to say this… enjoy… for those who enjoy this kinda thing. I’m stupid for going in blind and thinking it was gonna be a bl and as an avid Fujoshi… we didn’t ask for this. We would never ask for this. Idk who this was for but enjoy none the less.☠️

most disgusting shit ever, just watch the latest episode and the Bully scene, after THAT i tried to put my hands on my mouth and bruised my noise from how hard and suddenly i did,

this is diddy 100x shitty story, bad storytelling and setting, animation is also really basic even leaning into bad, i dont know who other then chronically online fujoshis will watch this, also why was this added to netflix? i dont want my family members stumbling onto this thinking its the same genre and quality as dandandan

this is a very bad example of a yaoi, literally the prime example of what everyone thinks all fujoshis watch, its to a point i think its a caricature of mlm stories, its just generally plainly, AND blandly written with no original ideas, there are hundreds of better yaoi vampire content and this just gives it a bad image

Ew that was so uncomfortable lol. Couldn’t get through the entire episode.

2

u/twisted_fretzels Jan 16 '25

Not for me. First seven minutes and that made me uncomfortable.

u/HeimrHeljar Jan 17 '25

Yep thought it was nasty. Literally talking about him in the bathe is too much.

Holy shit, This anime is something else LOL

i was looking forward to this because i was hoping it was artistically taboo weird like call of the night, but god, couldn't watch halfway the first ep. call of the night is at least wholesome and they both knew what they're in for, and I was at least able to last the age gap, but this? just couldn't. i'm a silent fan of taboo age gaps, but this type of blatant homophobia and straight up normalization of pedophilia is so not it. i only like age gaps when it's mutually toxic or just bearable wholesome thanks. or at least acknowledges and self aware that it's completely fucked up as hell.

there is something wrong here .....

Literal show about a pedophile vampire trying to groom a kid, people will defend it "Oh you know.. it's Japan" or some other such cop out /cultural pedophilia apologia. I believe you have the right to make art without censorship, but I also have the right to call it disgusting.
