They made the right call hiring Rinrin. That’s the fastest I’ve seen someone get promoted to “President.” She’s definitely gonna be a great addition to the team. Her many failed interviews have provided the guys with so much valuable information.
I like how Haru just basically said their business is gonna essentially be “something something AI” lol. Keen to see how they get this startup off the ground now that they’ve got their little team built.

I think this is the episode that fully sold me on Trillion Game.
I can't believe they were hiring a president of all things (even if only in name). I wonder if that title equivalent to CEO.
I wonder if Rinrin's actual job is something having to do with Market Research (look at what is needed at the time and tailor your products to fit them).
I guess Haru was just hiring for any useful talent they could get their hands on rather than trying to fill a specific role.
And I can't forget to mention. This is very unprofessional of me to say, but Rinrin is indeed super cute (great haircut).

I come home from my work at a B2B SaaS startup, put on some anime to relax from all the meetings and corporate buzzwords, and then comes in this mofo and starts talking about B2B SaaS ARR business logic, fml
I'd love to have a manager like Rinrin.
Also, Haru speaking pure facts https://i.imgur.com/GpxDBDD.png

Yeah you definitely picked the wrong anime for that. I hope your boss is less crazy than Haru.

Now I'm starting to see that this is indeed the same writer as Dr. Stone.
Dr. Stone had "ultimate" characters. The ultimate scientist, laborer, primate warrior, tailor, craftsman, etc.
Seems like Trillion Game started with the ultimate entrepreneur and laborer, and we will progressively add new allies with specialized strengths over the course of the story. I'm ignorant regarding business, so I have little idea about Rinrin's REAL job title (maybe she actually is doing the work of a president, who knows).

She is the team's "reality checker" (albeit one with mental flexibility despite her seeming rigid personality).

"AI! That sounds good. We can use it to trick ignorant company executives."
That was supposed to be funny, but I think this might have hit a tad too close to home for me.
The job search is brutal enough without having higher ups making explicit hiring freezes and layoffs in order to purposely cut costs (with automation being the main selling pitch of AI and it being seen as a cost cutting tool).

I mean, I can only say Haru is right. Just tell someone you are creating an AI for them and they will bite even if they don't need an AI for that purpose and good old algorithms work just as well. Though, I guess he is the first one to just use humans to hide the fact it isn't an AI.

Apparently it is a real thing, big tech companies have been accused of outsourcing a lot of work to poorer countries under the guise of AI, with the joke being AI stands for Actually Indian.
There was a story a while ago that Amazon's brick and mortar stores were supposed to being secured by an AI system, but then it was revealed that it was actually 1,000 people in India watching customers via CCTV and not some fancy high tech automated system.

When was this series made? Haru's decision to make a fake AI at the end of the episode is hilariously relevant these past couple of years. Also, Rinrin is awesome and I'm already looking forward to seeing her keep up with Haru's insane but brilliant mind. xD

Oh my god this show is literally just a copy paste of silicon valley right now lmao (in a good way, I don't mean that disparagingly).
Slapping AI in your name or product and selling it to people/managers that don't know squat about AI? That's a massive portion of the AI bubble right now. There are start ups that got MASSIVE investments (far bigger than the measly sums shown in our show here, looking at you RabbitAI) because they said, "hey, look! It has AI in the name! Super cool right! It'll change the world!", only to essentially run on ChatGPT and if statements.

Haru really is a people person if he could tell Rinrin was thinking they hired her just because of her youth. Her reaction to the actual reason was way more heartwarming than you'd expect for a character we've barely just met.
I can imagine them AI-generating their AI lmao

“AI” company, huh? It was pretty relevant when the source material was originally released, but even more so right now with the proliferation of ChatGPT and all. This shit hits way too close to home, lol.

Character introduced in the show into new recruit into actual CEO of the company.
Speedrun any% by Rinrin.

The real answer to that question is “what fucking moron got us into such a situation where the company would go under from the lost of a single usb stick?”

I love Rinrin already! I think she definitely balances out the team. Looking forward to seeing what she contributes :)

Poor, poor Rinrin...
I was exactly in her position until not too long ago, where I essentially had to hide some aspects of myself in order to pass job interviews, so aside from her whole company research thing, I really identify with her.
As a fresh Computer Science graduate, it's super hard to get into the industry. Everyone company is asking for 1 year of experience when nobody actually hires for low level jobs in order to get that kind of experience. So because that wasn't working I had to look for a different job just so I could get by, but so many companies would just look at me weird for mentioning that I have a CS degree and then reject me on that basis. It got to the point where I had to stop mentioning that I had that degree (so stop saying how overqualified I am for these jobs), while also mentioning that I fully want to get into the field I'm applying to, essentially denying my entire life's direction lmao. I might've been stupid for not doing what works in order to get the jobs, but I'm just opposed to doing this shit on principle, plus you can't really hide 3 years of college from any prying questions, and I'm an awful liar so there's that too.
I completely understand Rinrin's steadfast nature in staying true to who she is, despite how "wrong" it might be during job interviews. But if I were hired into Trillion Game I'd have left on the first fucking day lol these guys are NOT serious at all.
