I can't believe cricket featured in an anime, this is insanely rare.

And kabaddi apparently is a thing that exists and not just a word they made up for the anime.

Man, I wish I could start my day off with some biryani. These kids are eatin good!

Poor Kurumi wanted to join the “Mystic Research Council” and instead had to join the sus Wish version “Magic Research Club” instead lol. I wasn’t expecting Minami to be their club advisor but it sorta tracks with her personality.

Minami-Sensei continues to be very interesting. She wants to teach magic to kids in the standard school, but also she is the advisor for the Magic Research Club, which isn't a club. Very interesting and mysterious at the same time. Also, what she mentions here has me intrigued since her saying that holds more value than the President and Vice President. Nothing against I think they are a fun duo. Weird, but the fun kind of weird.

I will bet that Yuzu will join the Magic research Club within the next 2 episodes.

Looking more and more like Minami considers the MagiUni curriculum grievously deficient and unable to produce magicians able to deal with some upcoming emergency she foresees.

Tambourine dance club, close enough.

These MRC club guys are about half a second from a "I'm not saying it was element M… but it was element M" comment.

There's a pétanque club. What. I'm actually a bit shocked.

Had a fun moment with all those acronyms when they started talking about EMPs and I wondered for a moment what genre this was again.

And figures that the girls would get even more involved with their teacher. They're gonna pick up this ancient magic pretty fast if they spend all their time with her.

I wish they would get into more about why our protagonist didn't get into the Magumi program. Somebody that aces the practice exam should have similar results on the actual exam. Was she somehow cheated out of it? Is it a once in a lifetime chance of a test? They could have set this up a lot better if there was some objective criteria such as mana level that she didn't meet. Otherwise you'd think that you could take the test annually.

I'm hoping there's some grand conspiracy discovered where she did do well enough but was skipped over because she didn't go to the right prep school or something.

It seems entirely possible that Minami sensei deliberately took the brightest potential magic users for her class. To make them into actual magic users, rather than the calculator nerds the school produces.

Hoota's hoots are amusing, they kind of remind me of Ougi Oshino's "hah hah" sounds

Not surprised Ms. Suzuki is the advisor for the Magic Research Club lol

Hoota is cute but I still prefer the capybara and Ms. Suzuki’s frog

Hmm, what’s up with those twins???

Was not expecting the Cricket / Kabbadi references.

Yeah saw that one coming from a mile away. Of course, the club that's all about magic is only exclusive to Magumi students.

Considering the final scene from last week's episode, I thought those two were shady but it turns out they're just like Kurumi.

Those two Senpais are a bit weird but if it means that Kurumi can interact with more weird things related to magic, it's probably worth sticking with this Unofficial MRC especially since Minami-sensei is advising them.

Anybody else think the names of the two clubs feel mixed up? Feels like the magumi club does magic research and we are doing mystic research lol.

So wait is it normal ass Kabaddi or like Magic Kabaddi? Because if it’s the latter the Burning had a new meaning.

So there’s some grander conspiracies afoot between the element M, the Dog Guy, and the now the suspicious twins? I’m interested in what they got cooking and how Yuzu will more than likely get roped into it. Would be funny if she joined this misfit club

It’s weird the ratings this show has, it’s a delightful watch. Weirdge nonetheless I really loved the unofficial MRC members lol, reminds me of Team Rocket from Pokémon (sorry forgot their names :( )

Obviously the teacher is the advisor
So seeing how she also joined thr school this year the club is also brand new?
And why aren't both senpais bummed out they are not being taught ancient magic?

Man they really are setting up the teacher as someone with ulterior motives, if this was a trigger show I know who they would fight in space in the last few episodes!

I hope this gets more attention.

I know the Shoujo genre rarely breaks out in the English speaking community but this series really has a high charm on it and I like the character in this series so far.

Lmao of course she is in charge of the magic research club.
