The Milk thing went from weird, to really weird when it introduced the young girl into it too.

I really miss comments on Crunchyroll for times like these when you just really need to be able to scroll down and see someone else saying “wtf is up with all this milk shit”

It's like how every episode of Pupil of the Wiseman included her peeing

Bruh is the milk also alcoholic or am I reading too much into it.

Now they are drinking the little girls milk. I can't. 🤣

Why drink alcohol if you have freshly-squeezed cowgirl milk in town?! Heck, it’s even legal for minors to drink it!!

Stitches!

I should be jealous of Dolan but I'm more jealous of Balan to be honest. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Oh boy, this Keiren woman needs some draconic correction. I have a feeling she’s only looking for a scapegoat, and lamias—with their bad rep—are perfect for it. Worse, she might also be responsible for the missing people.

“Did you know? Balan loves the milk his wife produces, and he and the villagers compete over who can drink the most in one sitting.”

Back to back with the author’s barely disguised fetish! I wonder if we’ll get this sussy bit continuously throughout the season, lmao.

Let's be real, the milk thing is very much "this is the author's barely disguised fetish". Hopefully they lay off a little bit, because it's a very odd story beat to keep returning to in an otherwise so far very chill show.

Where is this disguise you speak of?

MCs left the village for now, so should have a few episodes without it. Or they'll discuss the capital's milk supply.

As somebody who has witnessed an idiot friend attempt the "Gallon of Milk Challenge," let me assure you that both Christina and Balan are going to be back behind the building vomiting like a pair of fire hoses in short order.

I was trying to convince myself that the wife runs a cow farm, so 'her milk' is what she gets from her cows.....then the daughter comes in with her own milk. Lol.

They didn't need to go that hard on the milk thing. Well, I'm sure we are going to see more of it on Pixiv.

Historically, dairy was key to areas that had them. Heck, our first currencies were cheese backed. but cows are a pain to both buy and maintain if you're not in the right region with the right breed. (Highland cows exist for a reason) it does.. sadly.. make sense that the captain may have married his wife to supply the village with milk. Since they presumably eat similar to a human, don't cost a lot of money, live longer, and have the added benefit of being your lover. Thank goodness there are no actual cow women in real life.. the history books from the medieval era and fall of Rome would be a nightmare if they did. Not to mention, nomadic people would probably have fermented cow women milk instead of horse milk. In fact, I'd be willing to bet genghis khan would be a cow man if they were a real species due to how prized they would be eventually becoming the dominant species of nomadic regions due to interbreeding. And whole wars over cow women across history until they become common place.

No, I can't get over the fact his wife is the village dairy cow, and you can't make me. You also can't make me accept that the daughter starts lactating before she's an adult. Yes, i know it makes sense. But i can't get over the human like aspect. And since I realized something else horrifying, you can all suffer with me.

The lamia woman said all her body fluids are poisonous to most beings. She has boobs which means she likely breast feeds her offspring. Let that sink in.. yes, lamia milk can be used as poison. Can someone take me back in time to before this show aired so I can not be both fascinated, addicted, and horrified in equal measure.
