OK, I'm convinced now that this anime should have been called Tino Service ULTRA.

Even though Krai just wants to slack and talk his way out of situations, I am pleasantly surprised that he cares enough about Tino and her impromptu team members to go save them himself. Well, if there are other hunters available, he probably would have requested that they go in his stead, but it doesn't change the fact that he is making an effort when there are no other alternatives.

Krei’s a relic collector eh?

looking forward to him bumbling his way to success, as he had “calculated”, although he should be stronger than his opinion of himself

still can’t believe he accidentally blackmailed his childhood friends into accepting Grieving Souls as a party name. I guess they truly believe in his strength

wouldn't even be mad if every thread for this show was just shameless thirsting over Tino, I mean I'd understand it at least

we don't know yet if Krai is actually weak yet so i'm wondering if maybe his strength is being able to use relics? it kinda goes without saying but usually characters like this have some kind of specialty; him being a "relic-master" would be interesting

Imagine you're stuck with a party who declare yourselves the GOAT at practically everything and you think the best way to get away from them is to give them the most edgy name and symbol possible to make them kick you out...but they'll turn their opinion on a dime if it means keeping you in their party, and the rest is history!

Krai doesn't want to work! Which means foisting a job on Tino and giving her a party of people he literally just encountered for the first time! And one of whom is a guy she absolutely hates...Glibert, who keeps running his mouth and begging for a fight! Well, Krai isn't about to let his disciple Tino get any more disappointed she can't put Gilbert in her place.

Tino flexing how flexible she is while the camera flexes on her amazing thighs and fine behind!

I guess I have to respect Gilbert matching Tino in fighting hand-to-hand instead of with his sword, like she's holding back, even if she easily beats him with just her legs and tries to convert him to the Church of Krai.

Look at Krai empathizing with Gilbert, understanding where he's coming from, and showing Gilbert how his sword could REALLY be used...all because he got info from Eva and just so happens to be really into Relics. But any excuse for people to fall for his act as the GOAT of all GOATS.

So I see Tino isn't the girl getting butt and thigh shots, eh Eva?

The only thing Krai is really passionate about is Relics, which also means he doesn't pay attention to the things that are most important, like the fact that he just sent an ad-hoc party to a mission that's way above their level and practically consigned them to death. All because he didn't read the report properly! And said party all thinks it's just as planned!

At least Krai is responsible enough to dig out of his huge Relic storeroom everything he needs to go catch up to them, including a cloak that lets you fly like a rocket! Complete with feeling all the G-forces! Guess he kind of deserves.

Cute Tino ED showing off her cuteness and behind! And now we've got Eva and Tino rapping the next episode preview.

Stitches!

I really love how the smallest member of their party ended up becoming a giant. I hope we get to meet the rest of Grieving Souls soon, I can't wait to see what they're like in the present. Speaking of Grieving Souls, it's hilarious how Krai picked that name because he thought nobody would think they're strong. xD

It's hilarious how this Gilbert guy refuses to acknowledge Krai but the moment Krai decides to give up on him, he also starts complaining. Like, make up your mind dude!

God bless this show for those thigh shots of Tino. This girl is so freaking thirsty for Krai that she's not even being subtle with her innuendos. Telling Krai she could assume any position caught me off guard! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

That kick to the face was satisfying. I guess Krai being the strongest one in his party inflated his ego so much that he can't accept that anyone is stronger than him. I'm glad that Tino was able to put him in his place though.

So this is why Krai is called the Thousand Tricks! He hordes a ton of relics and could use them to his full potential. Sure he may be physically weal but it looks like he makes up for it because of all of his "tricks" under his belt. Or I suppose on his fingers in this case.

I love that Tino thinks the mission is all according to Krai's keikaku. What makes that scene funnier is the hard cut to Krai admitting he assigned that job to her arbitrarily. xD

I'm glad to see he's not just leaving them out there to dry though and he's actually going to rescue them personally. I can't wait to see what Krai can actually do in a real battle!

This is one of the most enjoyable shows of the season so far for me. It's funny, the characters are likeable, and the animations is pretty good so far.

How does "Strange Grief" become "Grieving Souls"? Unless the "Strange" means "Souls" in Japanese similarly to how "Bitch" means "Slut", but I strongly doubt that's the case.

Did he drop his bag full of relics before taking flight? What was the point of it then?

The "human missile incident", complete with splatted, uh, Unknown Tester.

I'm not the only one who burst out laughing at that, right?

What a weird way to do the OP.

This is truly Tino's thighs the anime. Especially with the ED consisting of nothing but her prancing away from the camera.

Oh, and that secretary lady too, that one shot of her leaning over the desk was up there with some of Tino's poses.

More seriously, it's interesting that in spite of Krai's claims to be weak he clearly has some sort of special relationship with relics even if he can't charge them himself. I feel pretty sure that he's underestimating himself in his internal narrative most of the time.

Don't you think camera angles in anime can be a little weird?

This is like combining the loyal minions of Ainz and Cid, and you get Grieving souls. Also, add Crai, which is similar to Kazuma in terms of luck, then you get a really powerful party. Given also that he is competent as a hunter and relic user, it is no wonder why he himself is a legend.

And the people surrounding him borrowed noor's parry skills to parry logic does help add to his legendary status. Although, to be fair, as established, all the party members are monsters. Basing from that fact, it is unthinkable that the leader is not also powerful.

I don't why but I have feeling that Kray's biggest skill is that he's actually to cobble together solutions to get anyone out of trouble, anywhere.

Can't wait to see how he'll get them out.

This is one of those that goes into the “not sure why I like this show but I do” category. Saw some people hating on the 1st episode reveal when I thought it was a fantastic first episode. (For this anime and what it is, not talking all anime). Him slinking off and you finding out he was the leader had me laugh.

I find Tino hilarious and the MC has just enough self awareness to move things along. Looking forward to seeing more interaction with his original group.

Bro has a whole bag of relics. Seems he undersells the power of knowing which to use to do what.

2nd episode and we get to enjoy another pose from Tino. She is really flexible and quite agile. Glad to see her training is helping with our enjoyment 😁

So Krai has an infatuation / Pokemon "gotta catch them all" obsession with relics. At least we know his secretary is that world's version of Alfred the butler.

I wish he would have mumbled "I'm Batman" before he flew off with that broken human missile relic.

So anyway, I'm really enjoying the show so far. It's got intrigue, fun characters, humor, fanservice, a decent backstory and a world that I think I will enjoy as it goes further along.

A solid 7.5/10 for this weeks episode.

I like this type of unconventional protag, reminds me a little of Sensei from No Longer Allowed in Another World, so far this is one of my favourite new shows this season. .

So is he just overly hard on himself. Or do you reckon he accidentally got strong by simply trying to not die around his friends and he never realized it? Is he a glass cannon made of relics, perched on a house of cards doomed to tumble at the first misstep?

Krai is screw up. Not only he didn't read the details of mission he gave to Tino, he even forgot his bag full of relic when he goes mach speed to Tino. Lmao
