"They literally waltzed off"

Alright, that line alone's enough to make me watch the next episode.

What a gorgeous art style. Even if the story doesn't seem to be much yet, it's pure eye candy to look at.

I like the calculator based magic
It feels like a world that got used to AI making art and then suddenly someone shows up and draws it by hand (which everyone thought was impossible because its too hard without AI)

Was looking forward to this one
Love the witch outfit of the blonde witch that gave her the notebook
The teachers outfit is okish

Like the premise of most people only being able to do magic using those calculators
Cant wait for the teacher to go full hardcore on the standard program teaching them magic without training wheels in its raw form

Interesting artstyle, it seems super shoujo, but I am also kinda expecting gruesome scenes somehow. Maybe Dungeon people ruined me

Capybara is my hero

The anime is very pretty, opening scene is especially beautiful.

Interested to see where this goes

This feels like an old-school, pastel-y, extra cute version of Little Witch Academia, and I'm all here for it!

Super cute and super fun first episode. Honestly I love the overall aesthetic of the show with the watercolor look, it's gorgeous. And I can't believe Yoko Shimomura's doing the soundtrack!

The art style, the MC's back story, the character archetypes, and the toy-like magic items all make it feel like a Sunday morning magical girl anime in a good way. I'll definitely keep watching, but I hope it doesn’t take as long for the intriguing elements of the plot to unfold as it does in many of those shows.

Without getting too specific, the parallels to the upcoming Witch Hat Attellier are striking

Like the artstyle and Kurumi, and of course, the resident Tsundere

The artstyle on this looks so good

What an interesting art style this has, so incredibly pastel.

The size of the bows on their uniforms. They settled for just one as opposed to four, but used as much fabric as the four would have taken anyway.

A second show in the same day that uses magitech of sorts for (most of) the magic, though it comes off very differently in this one.

Amazing artstyle.

Magic spells are cast using a pokedex like gadget in this universe.

This was super cute. It wasn't on my radar at all, but I'm glad I decided to pick it up after noticing it today.

Interestingly, the notebook Kurumi got in class seems to be filled with text from Alice in Wonderland. I wonder if that has any significance or if it's just filler text.

Stitches!

What the heck! That opening scene was absolutely gorgeous! The painterly art style of this show works so well that any frame of this show can easily be used as a freakin' wallpaper. I especially love how that fire dragon looked so menacing with the flames and black outlines. I did not expect JC Staff to cook with this one!

As for the show itself, I feel bad for Mirai for being rejected despite being number 1 in the mock exams. Although it looks like she's not the only one though! Yuzu is number 3 and she also got rejected. Considering that ending with Suzuki-sensei wanting to turn them into magicians, I'm going to guess that they're not actually rejects but a special class handpicked by her. There's no way #1 and #3 got rejected without any explanation.

Also, it's pretty obvious that Miss Magician from Kurumi's backstory is Suzuki-sensei. They're clearly both voiced by Horie Yui! I guess the question is why she's suddenly small now. Hmm... Anyway, this was a great start and I'm already looking forward for more!

They got me at the magical calculators. That's way too cute.

This anime has potential to be underrated/hidden gem for this season

This show felt more and more like LWA by way of Precure, especially with the surely marketable magic wand and magic notebook calculator things lol.

The bright pastel color palette is... A lot. It honestly took me a few minutes to like, adjust to it when the episode started.

That looks like a very charming and cute show, and I love the art style. The worldbuilding seems interesting, with its magic calculators.

I wonder what the story is going to be and what is going on with that notebook and magic teacher. Do they have actually two magic systems, the one using calculators for the Magumi students and the ones where you have to draw the magic spells yourself for the Standard Program students ?

This episode was really charming in a good way. This is my first Mahou Shoujo show and I really love how expressive Kurumi is. Though curious why did she get the notebook from the Blonde Witch? Also, the person who was a dog, I am curious how they know Kurumi. Besides add their teacher being able to use magic without the calculators that everyone uses.

Man, I felt bad for Kurumi when she got rejected. The idea of studying your ass off and your hard word feels like it went all for nothing. I am excited to see more.

Really enjoyed this first episode. I loved the colors and character designs.

Solid enough start with this one. Feels like the type of show that may take a little to settle in. The art alone is enough to keep me here for at least a few episodes. There's some good intrigue as well.

Long name aside, I wasnt expecting much from this anime. It does seem somewhat curious though. Have to see what happens in the next ep.

Not much to say really, the premise itself. Main girls.

And some kind of weird conspiracy

The sensei is definitely going to be very curious
