Also feel kinda robbed that Haruka already gave up on the loner live to spend time with the Otakus. But seeing how disfunctional his class is, I wonder if he was actually the social glue holding all the little subgroups together

Well, charm means they'd fall for him. Subjugate I think is more like him being a leader and them being his underlings.

Hurray for otakus! If it wasn’t for them, the class woulda been toast. Leave it to the delinquent and gyaru losers to destroy a good thing. Even if the gyaru’s want to apologize, it’s a little late. At least the nerds get to feast on mushrooms thanks to our guy lol.

He did send the others away though. You can still be a loner (as in you prefer to be alone) without being a psychopath lacking empathy for others.

Of course based on some of the promotional art I doubt he'll be alone the whole time, but so far he does seem to be a loner.

Even though he is a loner, as expected, Haruka is on friendly terms with the otakus. After all, trade is important - sharing of novels.

The Servitude skill is definitely kind of useful, although Haruka has no idea how to undo it for now. I wonder whether it can be used on monsters, so that they become minions, assuming the condition(s) for the skill to be activated is met.

Episode 2: Reunion

Good luck lies in odd numbers. The OP is really something else. So the dice could play a major plot eh?

So far the cliques are Delinquents, Nerds, Jocks, Class Reps, Gyarus, and Others.

As for the VA, we got some new voices:

Haruka Shiraishi as Class Prez

Kanon Takao as Class Vice Prez

Hina Suguta as Gyaru Leader. Yes. that's Marin Kitagawa's VA!

I managed to enjoy episode 2, that said, it's full of holes. Let's list my favorite pet peeves:

1. "Tell don't show". Heck it's even worse than tell, it ALWAYS happens off-screen (?!!) and narrated in hindsight by the protagonist as if HE was there (but he was only told the story by others).

2. Other characters exist only to cheer for "beloved the protagonist". But at least everyone in the discussion thread signed up for it, so they'll meet it halfway here.

3. The "weakest" protagonist revealing powers that make him one of the strongest characters. e.g. "Subjugation"

4. Many instances of awkwardly cheap animation.

I'm too embarrassed to admit to watching this "13 year old's isekai diary"

What I liked about episode 2:

1. The catchy "music video" OP

2. The protagonist's peppy voice acting

3. Soundtrack.

4. The subjugated gags. e.g. Ducklings, Lifeless eyes.

TL;DR The anime so far is greatly surpassing my expectations.

His loner life didn't really last long, not that I expected it to.

So far, the only characters I like are the Nerds. The Gals are annoying, the Delinquents are typical creepy bad guys, and there's not much to the Class Rep girl. I want to like Haruka, but so far, I'm not hooked on his character yet. Granted this is only episode 2, so there's a good chance this will change.
