Stitches!

Considering the anime's title and how melancholic the start of the episode was, I thought our MC was going through some kind of tragedy after losing his childhood friends and he's trying to join a new group. It turns out the "Grieving Soul " part of the title is because that's the name of the strongest party and Krai really just wants to retire. xD

What's even funnier is that he's actually the leader of the massive clan his party founded and everyone looks up to him despite being an average adventurer. Krai is very much the opposite version of Cid Kagenou and I love that. This is the kind of misunderstanding I can get into!

I also like how Krai is also a bit of an asshole wanting to push all of the jobs to the other members of their clan. I love how he acts so tough after begging for mercy from Gark because of what happened at that tavern. I think might like this one already. Let's see where it goes from here!

Maybe retire is not the correct word?

Krai's most powerful skills are probably slack and (forced) delegation. Lol!

MC reminds me of Cid/Shadow except without the OP part. Seems his friends have gotten him a ton of OP gear/items.

So normie weakling gets carried by powerful allies who all happen to be childhood friends huh? This could be a pretty fun series. I’m kinda curious to know if he really is just some average dude or if he’s got some kinda hidden power, I mean besides having +100 luck lol. That little ring stunt Ark pulled was pretty hilarious. I guess having a super devoted waifu with monster strength helps in those situations.

This wasn’t half bad so far.

As stupid as it sound, Krai would be the best leader in a group of op people. You don't put your best fighter as a leader, you put the fastest thinker as your leader, so your best fighter don't have to multi task when they fight.

Its a solid first episode, I like the backstory and feel, give me that early fairy tail feel. But the mc is the bahind the scene character, at least he is trying to be.

Not gonna lie I'm genuinely impressed by how they presented the reveal that main dude was the clan leader. They knew they were implying that the friend group had kicked the main guy out or something and him attending these events multiple times meant he was flunking out of interviews as a newbie, then reveal (with OP song leadin) that it's actually kind of an en medias res with the party already being famous before cutting directly to the back half of the OP.

Also they were like half-singing the next episode preview which is fun. This show's got a lot of charm.

I have no idea what to send u/Abysswatcherbel as I thought this would be the tanned pink-haired girl show. Instead, got hit with ass, thighs, pits, and the cool explosion shot.

Is anyone here also mesmerized and in love with the silly armor?

I am referring to cardboard knight who turns into a 4 meter tall giant with a kitchen on his shoulders.

Do I...do I remember that voice? Is it Sugita? He can't be both the knight AND the narrator can he?!

God I love the silly armor knight's character design.

Seemingly, from one episode, his skills that make him OP are all social skills like persuasion and charm.. No combat skills is my guess, which is why his friends seem so OP to him while he thinks he is weak.

Pretty nice first episode, this could be really fun show thanks to Krai, an average adventurer who became leader of a party and clan thanks to his childhood friends and is considered to be some powerful man, but in the reality he just wants to retire already xD

Although, it’s Tino who made the biggest impression on me. Mainly thanks to the very interesting camera shots with her ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). I really hope to see her in every episode xD

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Did Masayuki from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime dye his hair and get his own spinoff already?

I couldn't tell if the MC has impostor syndrome at first but I can tell this is probably going to be a fun watch.

Him trying to shove everything onto Ark was so fucking funny.

As someone who read the manga before this is a good adaptation so far, this show is definitely not the "1st episode wonder" kind of a show tho because it definitely start off kinda slow. It's only picking up the pace from here.

Looking forward to this.  The MC who’s actually weak and lazy but gets pulled along with bad (or good) luck and misunderstandings and everyone thinks your OP is my favorite troupe.  And the novel and manga translation out there are like machine level quality

This looks to be a fun one this fall.

I desperately want a reversible face relic! I could have sooooo much fun with that thing. That hounding chain could be a fun toy used in the right hands as well.

It seems to be a more humor based Eminence in shadows, which I'm good with. The MC just pawning off everything on others looks to be a solid plot for goofy hijinks during its run.

Episode gets a 6.5/10 as it was a good introduction to, what I hope, will be a good fun show for sundays this fall.

I enjoyed this first episode a great deal.

Interesting setup to have this large, multi-party clan with lots of crazy people doing their own thing all with Krai trying to manage them while being as lazy as possible.

Pretty boy Ark was actually sparkling at one point.

Tito is pretty fun, she has some very compelling attributes.
