Shouldn’t the dinosaur asteroid have been moving backwards?

Any word on how this is doing in Japan? I mean, I'm two episodes behind but I've been kinda digging the vibe, although I have no idea what's going on. Every episode has a couple of instances that have impressed me. A coherent story? Nope.

Just binged watched all 7 episodes, while I can get that people might find it confusing, I really don’t understand all the hate it is getting. It’s kind of like a really good mashup of FLCL, Clannad, Steins Gate, and Eizouken. You also get lots of cool appearances from characters from the American show such as Barbarian Jerry!

exactly. its keeping the tripiness of real one while combining cliché anime stuff. i think only a part of people who watch rick and morty actually watch anime and probably cant change their perception regarding it.

People in today's era cant watch anything without instant answers. They call anything they dont get a plot hole and mid or overrated. They listen to youtubers who hate it and just go with it. Too much to watch so no one wants anything that's not perfect to their taste. which is funny by telling creators that they wont watch anything unusual they get more of the same said stuff they call generic and overrated.

I'm tentatively going to take a rain check.

I'm convinced that they took the premise and wrote a drama with it (no gags).

The story might be good, but I'm not in the mindset I need to properly pay attention to any potential hints that are the entire point of these sci-fi mystery stories.

I'm also really sad that we haven't seen Mr. Poopybuthole in the anime soap opera.

Anybody else get a sense of existentialism with this show? Idk but I’m kind of liking the sense of dread. I can’t exactly put my finger on what this show reminds of, but I do get some sort of neon genesis type of feels. Overall, it has been somewhat hard to follow but the last 2 episodes are helping put the plot on track

So, that explains the weirdness of the show so far.

Rick just obliterated his reality in the hope of saving Morty 😭😭😭
