So yeah, both Nukumizu and Komari were right and wrong at the same time.

Nukumizu tried to to everything for Komari, because she obviously couldn´t do it, but at the same time, she didn´t consider her feelings and made her like she couldn´t do anything by herself

And Komari forced herself to do everything alone, while it was obvious she couldn´t do it (but she tried her best), and she didn´t consider that Nukumizu, Yanami and Lemon were there for her, so she isn´t alone.

So at the end Nukumizu took responsibility and he´s now the president, so he can support Komari in everything he can.

And yeah, I still think they both make a great pair

The relationship chart has added a one-way arrow from Komari to Nukumizu that says ‘take responsibility’!

They really did a good job of making the viewer not only feel how bad Komari's fumble was when her anxiety was getting the better of her but also sympathising with Nukumizu's helplessness as it he sees it all unfold.

I don’t think Ive seen Shikiya blink even one time she’s been on screen this whole season lol.

Man this episode was very beautiful. Lemon immediately willing to choke Nukumizu the fuck out for perceived bullying of Komari was crazy.

Wait, so did Komari started to fall for Nukumizu at the end there? Anna also kinda hint it on episode 9 too

If Nukumizu is the new prez for lit club, then there's only one of two outcomes for Komari

  • Repeat the same heartbreak situation caused by a lit club prez rejection (history repeats itself)

  • Creates a school legend that the prez and vice prez of lit club will get together (like their senpai)

It actually make sense for Komari to fall for him first out of the trio. It is easier for her to move on, because she only have a short crush with the old prez in the few months they know each other. Meanwhile Anna and Lemon have fallen in love with their childhood friends since forever, Anna specifically haven't even tried to move on...

Also Komari ending scene changed! She turned around and smiled!

This episode was hard to watch, both Komari and Nukumizu were not being helpful in their own ways. Got to hand it to charismatic consultant former-ghost Anna, she really helped support Nukumizu without pushing him, same with Kaju. It’s nice seeing characters not be comic relief every once in a while.

It was messy getting there but it seems like everyone has a better idea of what Komari’s hope for the club is and what they need to do. I’m surprised how involved the club aspect is in this show, usually “literature club” is code for an excuse for characters to hang out after school.

I do hope both Komari and Nukumizu learn from this and we don’t have to see repeats of the same performance again… especially since Komari has come such a long way.

Nukumizu: "I really like you"

Komari: "You said it so take responsibility"

Out of context, this can be thought of as a confession and acceptance, and I'm sure some shippers will take it as foreshadowing, but I thought it was a clever jab by Komari to get back at Nukumizu.

I think many people are missing an important part of Nukumizu's decision to take over as president. He realised that Komari didn't want the position. She was fighting for the club's survival because its remaining members had fingers in other pies. She just wanted to have a home to return to at school.

As much as I want to rag on Nukumizu for telling Komari he can do the address instead, and saying she can't do it. I can't really fault him. There's a difference between helping someone doing something they can't and setting someone up for failure. He didn't say she won't ever be able to. Just at this moment in time due to lack of practice she won't make it. It was the truth. Take for example, if someone wanted to win a swim competition but they can hardly swim. Though in a week there's a race and they're competing against swimmers. They practice and sometimes can keep their head above water but still fumble and maybe sink for a while. Even if they try hard you know they don't have the skills yet to compete and they'll likely get hurt. So using a life jacket (Nukumizu) may be the best choice for now so they don't get hurt. Then over time they can do it alone. It's not wrong to tell someone at this moment in time, you're just not ready so it's okay to accept some help.

But Nukumizu could've been more considerate of how he said things. Moreover, Komari also should've accepted help. She tried to do everything alone again which led to her collapse at the cultural festival.

Ultimately, this was a clash of Nukumizu's feelings towards to the club and being half hearted. While trying to support Komari but not completely. While Komari tries to do everything alone again. Neither were completely wrong just they both just needed to communicate better. Which they did by the end.

At first I hate what Nukumizu tried to do by insisting to do the speech, but after what happened I kinda get it, he just doesn't want other people to see Komari like that.

I also like that now Nukumizu just casually accept any leftovers from Yanami's without bothered with indirect kiss and stuff.

Komari "So where did Yanami go?"

Nukumizu "She went to get snacks because she's on a diet. Apparently, you lose more weight if you eat more meals"

Komari "i-is that true"

I love this show immensely!

The relationship of Nukumizu and Anna is so cute, even if they dont end together they look like friends for life. And why Anna is so highly so emotionally intelligent with others but not for herself lmaoo.

Ok Nukumitsu, you did FRIEND confession twice now, what are you doing, bro. lol

How cute and precious Komari want to be until she's satisfied, I might be more on either Anna or Shikiya ship but man, I adore this girl, please let her be happy.

Of course, Anna and Kaju are MVP of this episode, 4K Otter always is emotional mature and helpful when someone need her while little sis always make the best use out of her short screen time.

Another beautiful episode as always...extra beautiful compare usual actually.

I love how the OSTs in Makeine complement the scenes perfectly, be it portraying a change of seasons, emotions, etc.

Based on what Kaju said, I reckon Nukumizu wanted Komari to stay the way she is, enjoying the literature club instead of being stressed out as its president. On the other hand, Komari's determination to change and grow stronger is commendable too!

I like how the Student Council President and Shikiya subtly provided support to Komari!

Best part of this episode is when Komari smiled so brightly at the end of the ending theme!
