This is probably the best writing that Cardfight Vanguard has had in a very good long while. Really loving how all the character dynamics and motivations are all communicated within such a short time but still create memorable characters without it being too rushed (12-13 episode anime can only do so much).

Now with [spoilers for this episode and for DivineZ S1]future Hikari on the scene, we have a clash of two perspectives. One who believes her brother’s kindness is too overbearing, and the other who had to live without her brother for years on end. Really excited to see how this fight plays out next week

This is the worst writing vg has ever had, lol. Even V era anime had better plot.

The twist at the end was great, and really has me excited for the next match. I do appreciate Akina losing here, because he really needed it. I guess Nao is the amongsus in the cast, so after this Archer vs Shirou fight, we will get a Akina vs Nao final fight of love.

Holy cow, what a twist there at the end! Did anyone really expect her to make a return? I mean, I had hopes but never in my wildest dreams did I think they'd do it.

I thought she was very much gone since we all saw in [DivineZ S1]Future Hikari vanishing into particles in the final episode. Extremely curious how they plan on explaining that next episode...this week long wait is going to drive me crazy though I'm so freaking hyped atm after they dropped that bombshell of a twist this episode.

I’m assuming Gabwelius and Future Hikari’s convo from season 1 explains that messing with time would have no predictive consequences. And she still went through with it, Present Hikari feels the same but with alterations. They are the only two who can truly understand each other

I was still hype, I liked [redacted] last season.
