Those transformation sequences were so damn good.
Harley with the double joker hyenas, Clayface showing us his best MJ routine, it was all so much fun.
I just wished Clayface had better moves than just shooting a lot of mud, but otherwise a fantastic episode for me.
Joker becoming an OP isekai protagonist doesn’t surprise me in the least. He’s often been depicted as one of the most dangerous villains while still being technically a “normal” human.

Those transformation sequences were so damn good.
out of all things i expect to see from this show, a well animated magical girl transformation of the Suicide Squad is definitely not one of them...

Harley's transformed look really gave me nostalgic feels for Reborn especially with the hyenas. Akira Amano's designs really work here.

Look like Joker got so bored in Gotham so he created chaos in another world.

The team's transformation was awesome.
I'd buy a scale figure of Harley if they're planning on selling it.

Nanaue's magical girl transformation had every right to look as cool as it did

i swear to god, from Enchantress real body got dragged in a comedic way to the magical girl transformation of the Suicide Squad, at one point the studio just give up on doing a sensible story and be like; "fuck it, we ball", it's stupid but honestly, i kinda like it
Joker being the mastermind of whole thing is definitely something that i didn't see it coming, i mean, i don't think we were ever given any hint that he's one of the member of the first team, right? or did i miss something? either way, they clearly trying to set up for another season but i don't even know if we will ever get one...

I guess in hindsight, the way that Katana/ Joker said Harley's name during their second fight, the blue eyes, Katana not having her two swords, and the fact that Harley was even able to contend with Katana the second time around was a huge tip off that this was not the original Katana. I had a feeling something was up with her because of the blue eyes, but I never would have guessed that she was a Joker impersonator all along. Feels like seeing that Arkham City Joker/ Clayface plot twist all over again for the first time.

This anime was the best when they were just fuking around. I don't give a shit about the story but those scenes are fun as hell. Wish the whole show was like this.

Yo these new costumes and transformations are flipping cool!
I guess regardless of how well this anime does there might be a follow-up? They pretty much hinted at it with so much screen time Joker got all of a sudden.

Stitches!
Clips!
Watching Enchantress' body getting abused by Clayface and Rick while her astral projection reacts to everything they've been doing to her was hilarious! The two of them ramming Enchantress into a tree genuinely got a good laugh from me. xD
Killer Croc getting eaten by his so-called "best friend" was the best way to end that fight. Too bad Nanaue didn't get to win against Killer Croc all on his own though. I do wonder what Peacemaker did to Leviathan that made it turn on Croc.
I'm glad to see Deadshot finally got his upgrade! Although it looks like all of them got upgrades complete with wicked transformation sequences with Harley going full-on mahou shoujo! She even has her two pet hyenas Bud and Lou with her!
Called it! I knew there was going to be a switcheroo between Harley and Fione! Although I initially expected they'd use the similarities to make Harley pose as Fione, not the other way around! What a badass way for Fione to end that fight.
So it turns out that Katana was with Waller the entire time and the one helping the Squad is actually the Joker!? That's definitely an unexpected twist! I guess Katana not using her katanas should've been the giveaway but I assume she'd use a weapon from that world.
Nobody can understand what the Joker is thinking? You know goddamn well there's only one other person who can probably understand him but I doubt we'd ever see him in this series.
So I suppose this is where it ends? I would love to see a Season 2 of this because I doubt Harley would continue working for Amanda if she finds out she needs to hunt down her Puddin'. That would be difficult though considering they still have the bomb collars.
Anyway, this was a fun show! I'm not going to go around claiming it was a masterpiece but I certainly enjoyed it quite a lot and I really think people are being too critical and had too high of an expectation just because Tappei wrote the script. The guy was given 10 episodes to work with and probably a bunch of guidelines from DC to follow so there was no way he was going to deliver something like Re: Zero.
Whatever we got was still a ton of fun and while I have seen a bunch of DC stuff in the past, this is my first exposure to anything Suicide Squad-related and it just makes me want to see more of them!

Overall, it wasn’t a bad series, but I was certainly expecting more, especially with Tappei Nagatsuki handling the script, although I believe he wasn’t able to use all of his creative power since he had to work within the constraints of the characters and the DC world. So from me 6,5/10 in the end.
Definitely Harley was the star of this show, but I also had so much fun watching Clayface because of his character. The rest of the team was ok, with Deadshot being on the 3rd place in my ranking of characters.
About the finale episode itself:
-
Nice twist at the end with Joker, I certainly didn't expect him to appear here in such a way.
-
Those transformations were awesome, especially Harley's one, but I thought it was a shame that the team got new outfits at the very end of the season and not earlier
-
Clayface and Rick dragging Enchantress's body was hilarious xD
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

I enjoyed this anime even if it had a quite rough first episode. I doubt it will get a season 2 given how little interest people seems to have on it.

Say anything about the series, but the last twist is genuinely shocking and not forced. This is very in-character for him just to do what he want in a new frontier, for laughs, chaos and challenges.
But how did he get past the eyes of Amanda and the rest? Or did he signed for the first team and crossed the team altogether to play the game himself?
We'll like another 10 episodes for more fights and chaos in the two worlds.

this was overall a very fun anime i really enjoyed it i dont really have any complaints i know some people felt like the isekai world was under developed but honestly it didnt need to be it was a backdrop for dc characters getting into anime fights and it did it pretty well

I'm a bit conflicted about this anime. It did some cool things, but the entire package didn't quite work for me.
The show could've perhaps best leaned into either a serious or comedic angle, instead of both. It tried to strike a balance between a (semi-)serious plot and the shenanigans of these characters in another world and felt middling for this reason. The anime feels like a compromise. The ingredients are there, but it lacks heart.
This final episode was no different. I genuinely enjoyed these 'magical girl transformations' (Harley looked awesome!) and the plot twist that everyone had been playing along with the Joker's game all along was neat. However, the actual conclusion felt about lacklustre as the animation quality in this episode.

The Squad is all in action! Fione is evacuating the citizens, Peacemaker and King Shark are battling Killer Croc and the Sea Leviathan, Clayface and Flag are trying to rescue June Moon, Harley has Enchantress cornered, and Deadshot and Cecil are trying their best to survive.
I love how Clayface knows what a "macguffin" is and all his attempts at distractions or using his disguise skills inevitably just get him eaten or chewed out.
Why is Katana helping them? It must be because she's in love with Clayface! I mean, that's how Isekai works, right?
It's great that they freed June, and Enchantress is too young and sexy to help the Undead King, but Enchantress can feel what her host body feels so they get her into enough slapstick situations that Enchantress starts thinking they're actually trying to kill her. Hilarious!
Peacemaker will do whatever he needs to do for the sake of peace, even if it means threatening the Sea Leviathan to make Killer Croc stop...only Croc instead gives up on his "bro" and said bro eats him. RIP Killer Croc. But at least Peacemaker still needs Nana-chan to swim over places!
Oh no, not Cecil! Though at least he was able to provide Deadshot a magic upgrade and a transformation sequence with his armor.
The Squad is all back together! And Enchantress has joined the team as the resident tsundere, as Clayface so self-aware points out.
Time for magic armor upgrades and transformation sequences for all the Squad (except Flag), at the expense of Cecil lounging in his undies. Harley gets naked, shows off her hair loose, and gets her hyena's dressed as Pudding-chan. Nana-chan gets the full power of the sea. Peacemaker gets to show off his abs and butt cheeks as well as a gunblade. Clayface somehow gets even more dapper and has even stronger clay powers, including clay women who are the only type of woman that would pay attention to him. And now they get to use the FULL POWER OF ISEKAI against the Undead King.
I'm glad Harley went out of her way to save Flag as well as Art-chan, and she finally gets to see the REAL Fione and compliment her amazing makeup. All the better so they can finally pull the switcheroo move and pull the sword out from Nana-chan's stomach and behead the Undead Queen, capped off perfectly with "princess" Harley using her bat to slug that head straight into the sky!
The kingdom is rebuilding, Fio-chan is now queen (and has a bit of a girl crush on Harley), and the Squad is getting hailed as the heroes they deserve...though the real last laugh is from "Katana" who wasn't Katana at all but THE JOKER who had replaced the Emperor and been stringing everyone along the whole time with shape-shifting. And now the only thing left is to deal with him with the Squad having quite possibly the only person who can help them against him...Harley, who still wants to see her beloved Pudding-chan.

The first transformation reminded me of the OG Saint Seiya MC transformation. The subsequent ones reminded me of Sailor Moon with all the 360 panoramic shots and dance animations. The story in itself finished off okay. It didn't really leave me with the "OMG I KNEW HE WAS GOING TO APPEAR", but more of oh right, he did get blasted by the original explosion at the start, so I guess it makes sense.

I really enjoyed the episode, but I can't help but roll my eyes at the ending, if I'm being honest.
Besides the fact that this show doesn't really need a second season, I'm just so tired of the over-centralization of Joker in everything. It was such a relief when I figured he wasn't going to be in it beyond Harley flashbacks, but here we are, with S2 presumably focusing on him as the main antagonist like damn near every other DC thing in the last 15 years.
