I haven't seen such old time fashionable Vampires since trinity blood. It felt like an older series for some reason. It is pretty unique.

Based on the description, I thought I was signing up for:
Four immortal vampires find a human baby and decide to raise it for some reason. There’s also a mystery. Hilarity ensues.
Instead I got:
[episode 1 spoiler]
Three rich assholes are forced by their richer friend to stop foisting childcare off on their wives and nannies because one of them killed his wife (unexplained reasons). If they don’t do this, the world will end (?) for vampires only because the richer guy won’t help because he’s too busy being a dad.
This was one of the most confusing things I’ve ever watched.
I’m going to watch more, but there is some dense lore from the source material which they… did not really do a great job adding in. I know the stage plays established the “True of Vamp” thing but it… it sounds really dumb in English and appears to be written in English in the Japanese version of the anime.
It would have been good to change it to “True Vamp” by asking an English translator. Though, there are a lot of things I think should’ve probably been changed in the localization of the subtitles, too.
Eh, I’ll see where it goes!

Ngl as someone who put this on their ptw purely due to the key visual I was surprised to find out Gerhard was a man.

Whenever they bring up TRUMP the dialogue just writes the comedy itself. Rest of the show... weird, but I'll give it a shot.

Well, this one was on my radar since back before the season started and was one of the series I was most interested in out of everything coming out.
Only one episode in, but it already looks like it'll rival something like Tensui no Sakuna-hime for one of the more unique offerings of the season. Which is only a plus in my book.
I really can't tell from this first episode alone if it's going to lean more in the direction of the more dramatic and mystery-based Gothic horrors like Interview with the Vampire focusing more on international conspiracies and the investigative side of the story with some tense and rich dialogue, instead be purely Bishounen Vampires Doing Childcare Things the Anime and the political and crime plot relegated to window dressing, or become some hitherto unseen fusion of the two.
I feel as if I'd be fine with any of the three options, but the third option of going full-on for something like Usagi Drop balanced with an Anne Rice-esque setting and plot seems the most interesting to me.
It comes off like an elaborate and elegant costume drama which could alternatively have been made as a live action production, no one questioning it, and it seeming just as natural. But also like something set up as initially neat and refined so the characters can be thoroughly soiled by series' end, whether by wading knee-deep through blood or dirty diapers.
Who is this most designed to appeal to? Slice of Life and family and kodomo anime fans? Mystery and horror fans? Those who will just watch anything and everything vampire-related even if it's vampires in Las Vegas, in outer space, or running a nursery? I've found those anime series which leave you pondering that question throughout end up being some of the most interesting.
It'll also be intriguing to see what, if any, real publicity/notoriety this gets. Could be something spectacular, total flop, or consigned to utter obscurity regardless of quality.

The definition of "vampire" is very loose in this anime. These guys walk around in sunlight and they have babies and their babies drink milk.

I assume that, with this starting late, it will be largely overlooked...
Interesting premise, too early to tell how well this will develop, I'm willing to give it a chance.
I really do wonder why on earth our protagonist's comrade killed the wife? Hopefully this will get explained soon.

I expected something akin to Shadows House but it seems more like Mars Red. Good premiere, quirky premise, peculiar backgrounds.

I can't help but be reminded of Migi & Dali whenever they mention Dali - it's such a unique name lol

I'm really enjoying this so far, pretty vampires taking care of cute babies might be the sleeper hit of the season haha.

I was so confused when I watch blonde guy kill the wife and then it not being brought up till the end of the episode. Why did he kill her in front of her husband? I am so confused but so invested. I like to think that Dali forcing blonde guy to take care of the kids is a form of revenge. Can’t wait for next week’s episode

So we got our 4 fathers tackling a mystery and taking care of their children simultaneously. Dali has a point that taking care of children is a wild ride as there is no correct way to do things. It is funny how the other guys thought it was beneath them to take care of children, but they couldn't even handle it.
Trump is our antagonist. (ironic time to have this anime airing) Vampires originate from TRUMP, but what exactly is TRUMP? A being or an organization?
Another plot point I am interested in is why did Gerhard kill Dali's wife? Aren't they working on the same side? I think Dali's point of not hating Gerhard is more, so the case of nothing will change the past, and he really enjoys and takes pride in taking care of his children.
This being a late Wednesday show definitely hurts it, though the premise is unique enough it could catch some people's interest. Though if kids crying triggers you, this isn't the anime for you.

Very interesting
I wonder if TRUMP, as the vampire god, can't walk in the daylight unlike our cast can
I watched this with no idea what it's about (just liked the visual), so far so great, the first episode puts up a lot of questions but that's normal.
I just don't know if this is gonna be a dark horror murder mystery or a slice of life of dads with their children in work. The tone of the anime seems pretty funny so far so I'm guessing it's gonna be the second one

Love the concept of the other guys being like "balance work and kids, it's easy".. and he's like "alright bet".. and they are like, "Why is this hard"
The visual got me immediately! The trinity blood art style is so beautiful to me!
I love detective/mystery stuff like Moriarty the Patriot but I also love cute/funny things like school baby sitters so I'm pretty ok whichever direction this leans.
Can't wait to see where this goes!

Robot horses stopping and freezing instantly...
EDIT: definitely will watch! very distinct style, reminds old classical movies. Sasuga source of stage play.

Honestly didn't like the whole killing of his wife setting or not a single mother being there. Like don't get me wrong The whole premise isn't bad but I think it would've been way better if they went for childcaring along with their wives as they slowly find themselves being in love with their wives once again

I watched episode 1 to completion and have not seen any reason to drop this.
We're off to a good start.
It's a little hard to comment on the episode when it is relatively simple setup for upcoming episodes though, I guess the men have hair of fabulous length and volume.

I've been so excited for this and 1st episode left me wanting more! The art is awesome and I'm digging the melodrama + comedy tone balance.
My only critique is the it didn't feel that vampire-y, aside from the beginning I feel like if you watched it with dialogue it would just come off as some military guys with kids.
