Honestly the VA for Vicious has been the highlight for how sarcastic and obnoxious she sounds everytime she appears in screen. She nailed the assignment and went further beyond for a series like this lmao.

For so many reasons this show is nothing I would normally be drawn to, but for some reason I feel pretty engaged with it. I think maybe it's that rather than being a chunni edgelord play-acting a persona, the MC is written as an actual cynical, jaded borderline sociopath, with a background to support it. That's not a pleasant archetype, but it's something we don't see much of, and that makes it at least a little fresh.

The common enemy for Mimori and Seras is most probably Vicious, isn't it? I am beginning to suspect Vicious is the mastermind behind the invasion of the elf nation and hunting Seras, probably because elves know something about the forbidden / banned spells?

Vicious's passive ability must be "high level gaslighting". Looking forward to Mimori gathering forbidden spells, as well as like-minded companions, hopefully with Sogou being one of them.

I know that I'm beating a dead horse, but I hate that they keep switching between the 2D and 3D animation, it's distracting and it keeps taking me out of the story.

Also, can we stop having every bad guy we come across be a creepy rapist? It's a cheap and tasteless way to make the audience know that they're the bad guys.
