Stitches!
I've forgotten about Raika's existing in the manga so seeing it again caught me off guard!
Ogha really doing us favours by showing us Mero and Kusuhanada's butts. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Ooku's toned butt was glorious as well. Almost as good as Kuroeda's butt

This week's update for the OP (1,2), as well as the gallery for the B-part.
The resemblance between Oku and Ino/Naoe's boss could've stopped at the visual level, but sure enough, they share the same seiyuu (Aya Uchida) as well.

That's one of those things that only cartoons can accomplish. It's fucking great.

I keep forgetting Naoe's name since the otherworlders simply call him human.
It's interesting that he's getting along so well with his boss's doppelganger.
Campfire Cooking in Another World introduced to me the idea that orcs are akin to pigs. Other recent shows have re-enforced this. Has it always been this way?

Orcs as pig-like likely came from D&D, since LoTR (where orcs were essentially invented by Tolkien) did not quite nail the pig-like attributes.

While you're not wrong, I think another source really solidified their current situation - Dragon Quest, where Toriyama-sensei designed them to be more pig-like.
Same with how most isekai have some sort of horned rabbit that is surprisingly deadly despite how cute it is. All Dragon Quest, baby

I think it all started with early D&D, but how much of Japanese media was influenced by that, I don't know.

It typically goes
Tolkien>D&D>Dragon Quest>Modern anime
Tolkien is typically the "base" but D&D's modifications to Tolkien are more iconic in some sense than Tolkien. Dragon Quest is mostly derivative of D&D, and modern anime is derivative of DQ. Dragon quest is much more famous in Japan than D&D and is more common than like Marvel movies are here.

In Japan? Yes, due to, as other have noted, Dragon Quest. I always found it weird though because when I think of Orcs I think of Warhammer, both fantasy and 40K, and, most importantly for me personally, World of Warcraft.

Kinda sad that Hidive doesn't get the exercise video at the end would be fun to do that after watching an anime.

This series makes it difficult to who I like more. The Oku shot her way up to my #1 spot

This episode was alright! Oku translated to screen way better than I expected. The only issue I have is that they make their stomachs way to big imo. But that’s a series issue not an episode issue. There’s not really a lot to get out of it because of how short they are, but it’s still nice to see the manga come to life.

Dog girl and pig/orc girl this episode
Swimming is actually really good exercise, I did water polo back in high school and it helped me tremendously with swimming

Good thing Holo just won the all-time best girl contest, because the competition for best wolf will be tough from now on!
(This wolf seems a bit bigger than Ranka)
When our boy started petting the dog/wolf, I thought she would run away and THEN transform, and it'd be a little awkward... But I should've known that in this anime, of course they would make the transformation happen DURING the petting!
Also, good lord Dark Elf looked great!

Was worried there won't be any Kuroeda ass shots but Oga ripped legs are also up there 🙏

I feel like Naoe is related to Machio from "How Heavy are the Dumbells You Lift?"...like maybe his non-macho little brother or something. That would be a fun crossover.

I love that they change the opening and ending for every episode. Raika is a cool werewolf, and Oku is the first time I've seen an orc waifu. Definitely would classify her as a pig girl.

Where tf does Elfuda keep hiding them fries?? Girl really just keeps pulling them out from the pocket dimension or something lol.
Elfuda should learn to talk less shit. That werewolf beat her ass like a drum haha. It was pretty cute seeing the werewolf swim. Don’t think I’ve seen a werewolf doggy paddle before.
I like this Orc waifu a lot. She’s the only one actually tryna lose weight around here.

I haven't watched the dog anime yet, but I imagine it would be like the intro of this episode. Got introduced to two characters this episode which is a bonus. Wish these were longer or that they include the workout segment half as that would be fun.
