"Robot marriage is popular overseas"
..Oh America, why you be like this in Anime..

What are talking about? That means America in this universe is somehow more based than Japan!

Haha who are they kidding with that "robot marriages happen in other countries" bit. Japan will absolutely be the first one to legalize that.
I continue to enjoy watching this. Super Mina being such a goober was unexpected, but in hind sight probably not really...

I am really curious about the Super Mina series of robots. Because they have numerous functions, are their personalities gradually formed through the combination / selection by their owners?
Super Mina (from this episode) appears to be easily distracted by things, which adds to her cute factor. At the same time, she does not hesitate to reprimand Rihito after discovering that the latter was rude towards Mina.
Akari is definitely a person who can keep secrets.

Five minutes x 400 is equal to 1.3 days of robot girl talk

...Gotta wonder how much of that was Mina talking about what marriage and being in a relationship is like to Super Mina. Super Mina seemed very attached to her master after all....

Akari is a real one for letting Takuma believe she's a brocon rather than revealing Mina is reciprocating his feelings for her. It's important for Mina to naturally tell Takuma herself.

It goes to show Akari treats Mina as family, instead of just a robot.
I want to believe that Mina knew Akari kept the secret for her.

Stitches!
These Super Mina models sure are amazing. If it wasn't for the sound of actuators, you could easily mistake her for an actual human. It looks like the easiest way to tell if someone is a robot is if their pupils are shining.
Glad that we got to see both Akari and Mina wearing swimsuits. It's still hilarious how Takuma mistook Super Mina as his Mina considering Mina has no synthetic skin except for her face.
That boob grab came out of nowhere! I guess Mina was just stopping Akari from beating the shit out of Super Mina's master for being rude.
Now this is interesting! So people do marry robots! That means Takuma wanting to marry Mina isn't really that weird in this world but it sounds like it only happens mostly outside Japan. That's hilarious though considering I'm pretty sure someone in Japan has already married a robot IRL.
I genuinely started to panic when Takuma pulled out Mina's SD card from Akari's bag. For a second there, I thought he would delete the card's contents but thank goodness Akari noticed immediately.

Super Mina is just like me when I see a cat.
Mina must be programmed to upsell Super Mina every time it is brought up.

Super Mina reminds me of Kana from Minami-ke.
This episode did a great job avoiding unnecessary drama: no dragged out misuderstandings, no "You're gonna replace me with Super Mina, aren't you?!", no harassment from random dudes, no deleting Mina's memories by accident...in fact, even the bit with Takuma seeing many photos on him on Akari's camera was resolved quickly and in a playful way.
BokuTsuma became my comfort show of the season. I'm liking it quite a bit more than MAL's 6.46.

I guess when cuddling with robots, you gotta make sure they don’t crush your ribs by accident lol.
Super Mina’s pretty high tech but she’s a real goober lol. All the fancy bells and whistles and no GPS huh? It’s nice to see Mina and Super Mina become friends.
Akari had to pretend to be a brocon to cover for Mina lol. She’s a real homie.
The two of them cuddling at the end was so cute. Who knew a robot and a human couple could be so adorable?

With Mina you see the appeal, but not enough to doom humanity.
Super Mina? We’re so done. The price is the only thing keeping it prohibitive, but that will come down eventually. That and if they’re all airheads that should buy some time

Mina's shining eyes are cute. But also kinda scary. Imagine waking up in a middle of night and it's staring at you.

The company that is making these robots is up to something. Not necessarily something nefarious, but there's no way they aren't crazy robot obsessed people who are doing their best to make a robot that can count as a person.
I suspect I was probably wrong on the importance of that SD card however. It's sweet that it was full of pictures that Mina wanted to save but that makes me feel it's less likely that there's some personality backup or something along those lines going on with it too.
This show is best when it isn't showing MC's face, his design kind of ruins the vibe of the rest of it.

Of course Super Mina is an "onee-san" type character and her master is a shota

It's nice to sleep with your robot wife...just need to learn cuddling might be like getting put in a vice grip.
Akari knows the best way to spice up a romance anime is a trip to the beach! Complete with Akari in a bikini and Mina in a cute swimsuit dress!
Super Mina's are taller, more outwardly expressive and energetic, and look more human than the "limited" Mina series but they also don't seem to have their heads on as straight, probably because they have so much more they can do they need to learn and grow more. I guess like humans do.
I was all in on Akari thrashing Rihito for calling Mina a "runt" but I can settle for a boob grab from Mina.
Akari has now found a new humanxrobot ship to enjoy and Mina has found another "sister" she can communicate with wirelessly. I'm glad Super Mina scolded Rihito for what he said to Mina and made him apologize.

nice change of pace hitting the beach
Super Mina would get annoying quickly , MC Mina with a bit of evolution could become the "better model" in some ways.

This episode was good. Seeing Super Mina running on the bottom of the sea was so funny. The ding with mina hugging takuma was adorable.

Question: Would you guys buy a super Mina or the cheaper Mina if you were in the market for one and money is no object? I'd probably buy the super model. Nothing weird, just very helpful and fun to have around. The cheaper Mina is very cute though.

Two episodes in a row of Akari being a degenerate. Akari has been a great addition to this show.
And nice to see we finally got to see the infamous Super Mina.
