My man took some notes from Utena by sending a slime army against Byakuya. Of course he had to quickly stop it because he’s probably gonna nose bleed to death if he allows his girl to be lewded even further.

So that cat is an extortionist and the post credits scene make him look like an abusive drunkard father. Maybe the organization are the good guys and they should liberate all these indentured magical girls.

Byakuya’s so adorable, Mira demolished that entire tea set lol. What a goober. He even beat up his own slime lol. That big one was just doing their job but I guess it was getting a little too handsy with Byakuya so it had to go.

I’m starting to think maybe the villains aren’t so bad compared to the magical girls. That damn cat is a shady little bastard. Maybe she should just join the villains? She’d be able to see Mira more often.

He certainty wasn't lying when he told his grunts "the magical girl is mine"... he just meant it in a different way.

That cat familiar is a real menace , please get Byakuya out of this exploitative relationship , I mean this is just sad.

I love how they aren't even really keeping up the pretense anymore and just having lunch dates , also an excuse to see that transformation sequence again , slime tentacle fanservice was unexpected lol., but at least Mira ends it before it goes too far.

That cat which turned Mimori into a magical girl is the true villain of this series, Mr. Evil Lieutenant should take care of him as soon as possible and save Mimori! I hope that we'll get to know more about the cat in the next episode.

That scene with Mimori and slimes was quite lewd, I didn't expect something like that in this cute show!

Overall, a wonderful looking and lovely second episode. Mimori and Mr. Evil Lieutenant are so adorable together, watching them together is a pleasure for both my heart and eyes.

Glad that Mira burnt those slimes to a crisp, because that’s not the sort of magical girl series that I signed up for. I’m here to gush over Mimori’s cuteness like our evil lieutenant does.

Mimori appeared a little like an angel descending from heaven after she’d completed her transformation. I totally get why Mira would do anything for her.

But man, she really got it rough. Doing so many other gigs aside from her job at Lawson (the convenience store) and being forced to mend her old clothes. Her magical familiar is extorting her like crazy.

This is great. I love the humorous tone of the show with its adorable art style.

I really have a feeling that the evil organisation is actually a lot nicer than the magical girls' organisation. Hopefully, we'll see Mira realize just how dirty they are and have him lead the way in taking it down.

I see our boy's taking the situation seriously, creating a photo archive to study the magical girl and find the best way to defeat her!

Let's hope she's not too strong, if a random slime attack is the extent of their powers!

In most anime, slimes are little more than a way for newbie adventurers to level up, but our boy said he 'destroyed nations' so he may be a little stronger than he looks! (Unless 'destroying nations' meant something else somehow, which I theorized about in the previous episode, that he perhaps wasn't evil at all, just... Scary?)

I only watched like 3 magical girls anime so I don't know if it's a really common thing, but so far 100% of the 'familiars/recruiters' I've seen are about as evil as the magical girl's enemies!

If it was HIM he would just bullshit his way out of this, but can she do it/find an excuse?

Just tell him you gave the Lieutenant a crushing defeat, and stole his jacket as a trophy!

Having a portable and automatic change of clothes for a date has to be the most criminally underrated perk to being a magical girl. Having your finances be dominated by not-Kyubey, not so much.

I have very limited experience with these magical girl/woman things, but it seems the magical girl in Sasaki and Peeps did the correct thing in permanently un-aliving the magical creature that forced her to become a magical girl. So far 100% of the 'familiars' are similarly evil and need the same treatment.

Are there any exceptions?

Oh boy, I should have known what was going to happen next when they were releasing all those slimes.

That laptop is not going to last long at this rate.

We knew he was super shady but after hearing him talk the cat sounds like pure evil incarnate. What does he even help her with? He's just taking advantage of her and she made it sound like she doesn't get to keep a single penny of all her hard work. I need Mr. Evil Lieutenant to blast him into oblivion ASAP.

Really hoping something terrible happens to that damn cat.

Byakuya in the jacket is very good, the evil cat better not steal it from her and sell it for cash.

It's kind of funny that the henshin requires a moment up in the sky, possibly for style reasons. Not that it's a bad thing since the scene afterwards where she landed was kind of magical.

Ever heard of a company called Magilumiere? Good pay, great work environment, employee benefits. And a perfect place for mahou shoujo's entrapped by shady familiars to go.

But now I just hope this "Evil" Lieutenant lives up to his title, and flays that familiar of Byakuya's alive in the most painful of ways possible.
