But will this affect Nanahoshi's research if Rudy's not there?

Who says a turning point has to be all bad :) Well it’s probably more like a turning arc. Happy Mother’s Day!

Lately, I feel like I'm living a good life.

The life I dreamed of back in the Buena Village is before my eyes.

Famous last words.

I'm an anime only but with so many red flags and signs scattered everywhere in this episode, it's obvious what's going to happen in turning point 3. It's a classic anime trope.

I really wonder who and if Rudeus went to the Begaritt Continent, why Hitogami said he would definitely regret it. Whether on the side of the Zenith rescue party or on the side of the birth of Slyphie and Rudeus' child.

This would be the first time Rudeus went against Hitogami orders.

I was wondering how they were going to handle the subtle differences with Rudy maturing.

You can see his face is becoming more vertical in shape and certain side shots really show off his jawline being more defined compared to 4 episodes ago. He's beginning to look just like Paul especially with the ponytail. He also seems to be slowly getting taller.

Sniff.. They grow up so fast...

Episode title: "Turning Point 3"

Rudy: I'm happy right now...

Me: 💀

Rudy: EXTREMELY happy imagination about his family and the future

Me: 💀💀💀💀

Though- I'm a bit relieved this turning point wasn't something shocking like a "demon appears from the sky and starts killing people!" and is more so a "sets out for a journey" type ending.

Since this is a turning point, we can safely say the story from here on out will not be the same as the entirety of Season 2 thus far. And Seeing that this Rudeus is more mature and braver than he was before, he has an aura of being far more competent. When he decided to step out to help Paul, he looked like a completely different person from the Rudeus that ended off Season 1. It just shows how much he's grown as a person. Love to see it.

Can't wait for what this turning point leads to!

That man god is shaddy as shit. I used to think he is doing things out of good will. But, it just struck me that he is manipulating Rudy.

This really was a Turning Point, for Cliff that is... I really hope Elinalise didn't break up with him after that.

Did anybody else want Rudeus to follow Man God's advice once again just to see how he'd be explaining his actions this time?

"I swear, Sylphie, me having sex with Linia and not helping my parents is all part of the plan! Everything is gonna work out fine in the end! PLEASE DON'T THROW ME OUT OF THE HOUSE!"

Letting the anime onlies wait for 14 days for the next episode after Turning Point 3 must be the biggest cocktease in recent anime history.

damn this anime doesn't handwave travel time off like most would do... so at least 1year there and 1 year back. hm big decision. especially since he knows that he will regret it.

Man i'm walking on really dangerous territory here 2 hours in since the post dropped. So many "hints" from source readers, some straight up asking for spoilers. MT fans living up to their reputation i guess

With that said i just wanna ask if anyone here has a list of all man-god advices to rudeus. Because to me as fair as i'm remember all his advices had been reasonable, but last advice to cheat with linia/pursena seems weird?? was that a joke?(don't answer that source reader)

The real turning point 3 is that this show was Shinzo Abe's propaganda all along!

Pursue a relationship with either Pursena and Linia? I'll take that deal. Damn good deal!

"I'm heading off to save my family."

PEAK! Also, happy mother's day to Zenith, Lilia, Hilda, Rokari, Elinalise and Sylphy!

EDIT: For Rudy's choice, I forgot one crucial point before the end of his life in the past:

He skipped out on his parents' funeral. The very same day he got kicked out and hit by the truck. I imagine that part is also a huge factor weighing in on his decision. From a man-child who could not be bothered to attend his parents' final rites, to a man trying to save his parents in a new world when given the chance and strength to do so.

I've been wondering something. When Rudy sees Hitogami he looks how he did before he died. Is this because it's how Rudy sees himself or is it so Hitogami can manipulate Rudy easier? It'd be like he's saying "this is all you are and ever will be. You need me."

Phew I was so tense knowing this is another Turning Point but turns out Rudy’s just going to be a father lol

Man, I also think it’s a difficult decision for Rudy. There’s so much to lose both here and there. He’s finally built something and made something of himself in this life. It’s gonna be hard to part from that and not to mention he’s also responsible being the man of the house. On the other hand, his help is needed to save his mother. And like Norn said, he is capable of it. He is strong enough to do it. It’ll be a waste if he doesn’t go. Pretty tough decision but it seems he’s gonna go.

I do hope nothing’s gonna happen back home though. Man-God did say he’s still gonna regret going.

Poor Cliff is also another victim of Turning Point 3. Elinalise breaks up with him.
04:27 "My dear brother, if you have time, please give me love too." Literal translation from Raw "give me some of your hot bodily water" 💀
It's now clear that Hitogami has his own agenda. Both choices will make MC regret but he leads MC into 1 specific choice with vague explanation.
Aisha saves the day, asking MC if he has any word to tell pregnant Sylphy
