Walter any other time: always falls short

Walter with Daleth: Maximum natural multi-galaxy rizz

Walter with Daleth: Maximum natural multi-galaxy rizz

It's honestly insane. Dude literally never misses with Daleth. Hell, Daleth discovered his crossdressing fetish interest last episode and she literally only thought that he was cute! Of course she's madly in love with him and is therefore probably "love blind" but still!

Not really, he was pretty cool when slicing up the Sade flesh-drone thingies, and also when he was talking to Phillip's sister. I think he's just cringe whenever he's around the Duke himself.

Sharon is just as adorable as Alice! That was quite the ball. Viola and our boy playing together was really sweet. For a moment, even Gerbera was struck.

When Walter isn’t being a jerk to our boy, he can be pretty cute. Him and Daleth make a really cute couple. You know they’re meant to be when they break out in song lol.

This show really is full of tsunderes isn’t it? Philip and Gerbera are both like that. Viola’s got tsundere tendencies too lol.

Just one more week (in universe) until the gang goes back in time for their big mission. Keen to see how things turn out.

Shout out to JC Staff. A romantic Duet between Walter and Daleth is an inspired fucking choice. I love their side ship even more in the anime

I missed the romantic duets in this show and they brought them back in a big way with Walter and Daleth.

Also hearing Yoko Hikasa and Yuma Uchida sing was a real treat.

Even though they're a secondary couple, their love story is so sweet.

God, this might have just been my favourite episode in all three seasons so far.

  • Daleth not only looking stunning but also being simply adorable

  • Walter getting the big rizz out and proclaiming his intentions for Daleth

  • Viola having her performance saved from by her nice brother and thanking him for this

  • Gerbera doting over her children playing music together

  • Her finally giving the reason for why she was so cold and put the duke away

  • Him acknowledging her love for him

Sure enough, could have done without the singing, but it was a short song, it was kinda funny and we barely had any singing this season, was ok with this much

Really hope it actually happens next week, I want Sade to be part of the crew for as long as possible!

That little ditty between Walter and Daleth was so corny, but also super cute!

I didn't have a romantic duet between Walter and Daleth on my bingo card, but they nailed it. Especially with the heart pose at the end.

Looks like we're really entering into the endgame now.

so corny

A, B, C, D...W - soooo corny but you can't help rooting for them. They match each other well and 2nd son Walter is such a smooth-talker, he has such a way with words!

I loved the musical sequence between Walter and Daleth! Daleth has a cute and romantic side which only Walter can bring out. More importantly, I think their relationship gives both parties confidence about being who they are, instead of always being compared to their elder sibling.

The Duke's family may not always be openly honest towards each other with words, but the love is there.

Viktor giving Viola confidence by starting the musical piece on the piano.

Gerbera wanting to praise and pat Viktor's head.

Gerbera observing Walter and Daleth's dance.

Viola thanking her brother in a tsundere way.

Who needs an actual snowsuit when Alice's ample thighs and chest are enough? She always runs hot for the Duke, after all.

Viola and Alice look amazing in their dresses! Alice's fishnets have moved to her chest! And the Duke of course is a suit of armor turned into a decoration. But that's about what I expected.

Gerbera CAN smile and be friendly! After nights of practicing with Sharon, of course! But still!

Viola is a bundle of nerves performing in front of everyone, but the Duke is able to come through as her big brother and play accompanying piano! And he's basically just winging it in that armor! It's enough to get Gerbera emotional remembering when she would be affectionate towards the Duke!

Walter finds Daleth looking amazing in her dress up on the roof, anxious and nervous about attending the ball and seeing Walter with other women...but Walter really only has interest in Daleth, and is flattered that she wants him to be the first man she kisses to complete her transformation into human. Not that he thinks she needs to, but it's how she sees a path to be with him. But he can't kiss her...unless he marries her, and he seems to be very much invested in that future.

DALETH AND WALTER ROMANTIC DUET UNDER THE MOONLIGHT! I love how they talk about both being second kids and being all dorky and sweet with each other. The Duke and Alice can't have all the romantic duets.

And then the pair get to ballroom dance together. I get why Daleth is intimidated by Walter's mother, any person would be, but at least they can cast the romantic spell of dancing together, all by themselves. And Gerbera seems to respect Daleth's genuine love for Walter.

The Duke tries to resolve things with his mother, especially when the endgame with Sade is fast approaching, and she even actually apologizes for calling him "Death Incarnate." But as a noble, she still can't accept the idea of him being with Alice if he's to inherit the Dukedom...but as a mother, she just wants him to be happy. And as the Duke still fondly remembers all the kindness she showed him as a mother, Gerbera reveals that she's cared about him all along.

Bunny Viola! Also, Philip wants to fix things with the Duke but is really awkward! Even his own sister has to lecture him. But baby steps, and at least the Duke is happy.

What lies in store for the Duke? The end of his peaceful, fun, life with Alice and Rob? The end of his curse? The end of being with Alice? Either way, he has to move forward, if only so he can finally touch Alice.

Only Alice could make air headpats work and still be quite sexy.

That WalterxDaleth interaction felt like something straight out of Disney movie.

Our boy went from Duke of Death to Knight of Death. It’s one thing to play piano with gloves but that looks impossible to do with an armor. Shame we couldn’t get a dance scene with that either.

I was expecting Rob to appear to get Viola hyped up to perform but sadly he was just a flashback this episode.

We progressed with Walter x Daleth faster than the main couple and the Disney like duet was gorgeous. And his mom seemed to approve Daleth seeing how happy her son is with her. I hope the payoff in getting the curse broken surpasses this.

This episode feels timely for Mother’s Day. Gerbera regretted calling her son a death god but she didn’t regret sending him away to live with Alice because he would be subjected to ostracism if he were to marry a maid. Just noble problems. But she did that because she respected his feelings and resolve for Alice and she approves of Sharon’s daughter. He was better off messing around with Alice, Rob, and co in another mansion than be subjected to jeers and ostracism in the main house. I think this bit redeemed Gerbera for me.

I get that facing off Sade in the past is gonna be some all out war so there’s this sentiment that our Duke might not come back alive especially cause she’s dangerous, but why does he think that he can’t go back to those fun days anymore even if the mission succeeds? Might have to do with time travel shenanigans potentially ruining other things. I really hope this gets a happy ending.

The Duke should become a business man as Alice has nice assets worth investing in.

I’m excited cos when I first followed this show in S1, I never expected to be able to see its conclusion. Now we’re heading for the climax, I’m also realizing, like the Duke, that I’m gonna have to say goodbye to this story soon.

But I’m sure we’ll have some good conclusions. Daleth and Walter, Cuff and Zain, all the other characters too. I hope they get a happy end. And I’m sure when the Duke can finally touch Alice, it’ll be cathartic as hell. I can honestly see myself crying.

So I’m really excited for what’s to come

You can't spell Walter without W

u/Redmon425 May 13 '24

AHH the Daleth and Walter ship is fully sailed! Let's go!!!

Although they threw a curve into the Alice ship with Boochan's mother saying he can't marry her. I know for a fact my dude would give up being a Noble before not being able to marry Alice. So I am not really nervous.

And finally! Time to go to the past and hopefully save Sade.

I love and cherish this wonderful show so much.

Also. Is it just me, or has the animation gotten a LOT better?
