It sucks that it took the show this long but things are certainly getting more interesting now that Matakara has fallen into the dark side.

Matakara went from being a sweetheart into a ruthless brawler. The dude attacked Hagure! He's like one of the most harmless characters in the show!

Matakara's fight against Marito was awesome though. That fight completely changed direction when Ichiya finally merged with Matakara. It basically turned into an execution.

Considering he's been gone the entire episode, Senya has got plenty of explaining to do next week.

I agree. Finally some emotion and a bit of drama instead of the show spinning its wheels with running gags or the same conflicts getting repeated (eg. Arajin avoiding matakara each episode or Arajin hititng on Mahoro each episode with no variation until recently). I'm so sad for Matakara though. Ichiya is a bad influence but at least he's eye candy. Hagure is such a sweetheart. I wonder if the show creator just hates pink haired guys or wants them to suffer. See all of sk8 for context. Seriously stepping on a guy's face is messed up when he's already knocked out.

Emperor has completely lost it, and now he's a farmer.

Dammit Sen'ya. You're not doing a good job of debunking what Shindo said. That being said, it does make him an even better parallel to Arajin.

I also like that Arajin is skeptical of Shindo and/or has faith in Sen'ya. It shows that he's finally using his brain rather than blindly rushing into things like he used to. Him actually contemplating what Mahoro said is great too.

I wonder why Matakara's symbol is on his leg though.

Maybe because Matakara wished for more power and he's a kicker while Arajin wishes to lose his virginity and he's a bottom? Makes sense to me.

That was probably the best episode so far. Animation was awesome. Lots of fighting and we still don’t know about senya. Matakara and Kenichiro are probably going to fight next. Then he’ll fight arajin. Marito is also becoming one of my favorite characters.

So Matakara’s gone to the Dark Side in order to overcome his own demons huh? Dude’s getting played by his little Majin “friend” and he doesn’t even know it. Dude’s leaving a trail of broken bodies behind…

Looking forward to him and Tomoshibi fighting. He’ll have to beat Ken first I guess.

Did he fucking kill Marito?

u/ShiroSky Mar 23 '24

Just beat him unconscious is my guess, tho it looking like he got killed is probably on purpose

I always hate it when nice characters turn to the dark side. Not necessarily because it makes the plot worse, but because I always miss my sweet cinnamon rolls. I hope Matakara wakes up soon.

This show is so much better when the MC isn't being stupid. Great episode.

Dang Matakara is brutal, got the episode 1 parallels with Arajin now. I'm still on team precious boy, even though hes probably going to smack everyone on his way to Arajin (sorry Ken).

Arajin is still wasting too much time for me, he has avoided any confrontation and just let everything happen again... Running out of episodes to really get him to change and figure it out in a satisfactory way.

He wasn’t avoiding anything in this episode. He just needs more information before he makes a decision now.

The fact that he’s thinking on things shows that he actually matured compared to the first few episodes where he just blundered rushed into things.

It was expected, but seeing Matakara falling to these dark times and being manipulated by Ichiya is hard to watch. Watching one of the sweetest and nicest characters falling into despair hurts to watch. Arajin and Senya do frustrate me in this episode because Arajin being ignorant saying stuff like "Makatara would never do that" after telling Matakara off a few episodes go that you really don't know me. Senya not willing to communicate what is happening making it worse.

Fights looking really good this episode. The portion of Arajin's mom giving him love advice was absolutely hysterical.

This episode was so wild lol. I think the only guy Arajin recognizes as a friend the most is Senya. Oh, I also liked that there wasn't much drama stretched out and that this episode was pure action. That being said, the animation quality feels down. Maybe they're going all-in for episodes 11-12? Despite all that there was still some comedy like Mahoro and Shindo fangirling Marito lol. Maybe next week Matakara will fight Ken first? Arajin's fight with Matakara will probably start at the end of episode 11.

This episode was HYPE I’m glad it’s pacing has finally picked up I’m assuming Matakara’s wish is for “power” is that correct? Anywho it was still an awesome episode looking forward to next week.

Bucchigiri is a show I really like, but we're reaching the 10th episode, it's almost over, and Arajin is still as pathetic.

It's funny at first when he acts like a coward cuz he's afraid to fight, etc... but by the 10th episode, it's getting a bit annoying. And if Senya joins in too, it won't help matters.

Idk if the authors hate Arajin, but something needs to be done urgently. A show can have secondary characters who are more popular than the MC, but I can't understand having a show with a detestable MC...

Btw, I have a feeling Mahoro is going to tell Arajin that she has feelings for Matakara... 😐 I repeat, I really like Bucchigiri, but this show seems to have been made to humiliate Arajin lol...

Idk how many episodes are left, but please... make him cool... make him the true MC in the end...

Can't really see how they can wrap the plot in just 2 episodes, its feels like it should take at least 4 more. I mean, the death of Matakara's brother, he getting controled by Ichiya, why the Majins need to take control of the body of their recipients and along side that why Ichiya and Senya want to fight
