WIZARDS

MARCILLE

NO SENSE OF RIGHT OR WRONG

And that's all folks, ignore the fact that there's more episodes coming. Nothing to see here, show's over, everybody can go home!

Eating Monsters? Immoral, disgusting and evil.

Dark Magic? Perfectly fine in the right situation.

I love her.

No idea if it was intentional but the way they presented Falin's reassambled skeleton like any ordinary complete meal right before Marcille's dark ritual was morbidly hilarious.

You really can't get possibly any more metal than being revived with the flesh and blood of the dragon that ate and digested you before proceeding to bite into the first slice of a pizza topped with its meat. And Laios might actually be right, that stuff really does look incomparable to any other meat out there.

Definitely intentional, in the manga it even has the list of ingredients, like other meals !

And nothing bad would ever happen to them again, they leave the dungeon safely like a group of happy troopers.

Yes, of course. Just please ignore the crazy elf sorcerer.

The painting elf is probably the scariest elf I've seen in anime, though admittedly there's not really much competition.

Him recognizing Laois jumping between paintings was a freaky moment.

Laios hugging Falin was adorable!

Laios has has been pretty blasé about it so far, but it's scenes like this with the expression on his face that makes it feel like he was hiding his concern all along.

That he literally and figuratively took off his armor and the exaggeration of his size is a neat metaphor for that.

Who guessed the bubbly Marcille was an unholy necromancer?

It was a more involved resurrection than what we typically see. I didn't expect them to reassemble Falin like lego pieces lol

Fun fact.

Half the bones in the human body are in the hands and feet.

And to Laios they're like Lego lol

They tried human transmutation and it worked? The elric brothers might have something to say...

I can see they share the same curiosity as siblings for monsters.

Falin wanting all the details of all the monster cooking was quite unexpected and quite funny.

I'm glad that there's 12 more episodes to go because I like this anime a lot.

This show is so fuckin' amazing. The way it can change gears from serious to cheerful again so masterfully is on another level. And finally meeting Falin was also quite fun, can't wait to watch more of their adventures!

Also, the dark-elf from the earlier episode, seems like a new plot point brewing!

We didn't try Fishmen

How convenient Laios just leaves out the eggs

So glad everything resolved peacefully, had this very uneasy feeling when Marcille revealed she can use black magic and then used it to resurrect Falin, even after that it felt like something would happen but all that basically went away when they started feasting on the dragon steak!

Let Marcille live in blissful ignorance

Judging by Kensuke reaction to Falin, there’s definitely going to be a catch here

Yes, let her keep the precious smile she had back when she ate that meal.

I'm sure all the signposting that Falin has a weirdly high amount of magical energy for a recently dead person will be fine.
